  1. Deano was a CC signing i'm afraid.
  2. Wasn't Imrie also considered a lazy flair player in January? He certainly proved people wrong, and if he continues stepping up his fitness will be a fantastic signing. Even Barrowman himself has said he's going to bust a gut to do well at ICT. If a player can stick the ball in the net more times than not and is a bit lazy, then it's a good thing we have a manager that has brought in an approach that demands fitness and effort. I say well done Brew for a signing that could prove to be an excellent piece of business. The same people that are moaning about Barrowman before he's even kicked a ball, would be the same people moaning that we haven't signed any new players if he hadn't signed him. Canna win :blah01:
  3. 30k according to the Dunfermline Courier
  4. Very good. There are few center mids who always look to move the ball forward. Also, on his day he has a fantastic shot and cross, which occurs about once a month.
  5. So our strikers at the moment are: Barrowman Wood McAllister Imrie (although he'll prob be playing left mid) Niculae (for now) S.Sutherland (bit too early for an appearance?) - Would love to see Dorrans come on loan. - Undecided with whether I want Youtube Elliot. He works hard and is aggressive, bit like Bayne. - Just hope Brewster doesn't for King Kenny's son Paul... :029:
  6. Any chance we can get this thread pumped to NON-ICT? :023:

It's starting to grow on me... Much like our last home top did eventually.
  8. He is. He made it clear at the end of the season that McNulty is our 3rd choice keeper, which suggests that we will bring in another keeper to push Mikey. Zibi is back in pre-season training with Hibs from what I was reading in an Edinburgh paper. Hope that's been of some help?
  9. Some positive comments in the Press and Journal... P&J If Imrie can continue his impressive form, I think he'll provide plenty chances for Andy to tuck away. Glad pre-season falls in the Summer Hols, as i'll bust a gut to see as many games as possible... much like last year, when hoping to see Marius in action!
  10. Well I for one hope he gets encouragement from the fans. Looking forward to seeing him pre-season :clapping03:
  11. He didn't put a foot wrong in my opinion. Can only think of maybe one misplaced pass? Mutu has been way too greedy and the crosses in the box have been Kirk Broadfoot-esque. Marius must be getting used to not getting any service by now though!? :rolleyes02: At least he's not out injured a la Frank Ribery... :023:
  12. Bawjaws :008: The champagne I bought in Paris after the Scotland game, to celebrate our qualification (which didn't happen obviously) might remain unopened :019:
  13. I think Mutu is trying to do this all by himself. He's taking on too many players and shooting every chance he gets... Great player I know, but needs to look for his other striker :004:
  14. I nearly hit the roof with that shot :crazy07:
  15. This is magic!! I'm about as nervous as i have been for Scotland games. Spent the evening texting Dons fans to see if Jeffrey De Vischer made the Netherlands squad :blah01:

*Salutes Marius during his national anthem with can of beer* C'mon Romania!!! :clapping03:

Well he better be starting now, as i've just texted half of Aberdeen saying he is :029: I'll wear my ICT strip to work tomorrow if he grabs the winning goal :021:

Romania: Lobont, Tamas, Rat, Ghionea, Contra, Chivu, Nicolita, Codrea, Cocis, Niculae, Mutu Guessing that'll be D.Niculae. No sign of Marica in that line up.
  19. Yay!! A 'home' game for me to kick off this season :021: I've been getting the usual "easy 3 points" today at my work :rolleyes02:

Ahh... i'm in the right room now :015: Just cleaned myself after nearly defacating my boxers during the Croatia game :022: Won just over ?100 yesterday on betting the Czech v. Swiss game would be low scoring, with a draw half time Czech win full time. Followed by a flutter on Portugal to win, after seeing how strong they were in the first 5mins of the game. So in a half cut state I threw it all on Croatia to win at evens :021: Austria deserved something from that game, despite Boularouz (sp?) being lucky to stay on the pitch. Banking almost all of the money, and putting a wee ?20 flutter on Germany v. Poland being low scoring.

    EDIT: Good games :002:
  22. Well, if he does go... I'd like to say thanks for those two bullet headers he scored against Aberdeen and Celtic :clapping03: Think i peeved off a few Aberdonians celebrating those goals in the pub. Shame we couldn't get the 3 points in either, but fun times none the less!
  23. I wrote about how there'll e a huge cheer across Scotland if he gets the winner against France or Italy, and something about encouraging the staff and pupils at my school to support Romania. Got the automated reply, the an unexpected personal reply saying thanks for encouraging support for him and Romania and hopefully he'll do ICT proud. My respect for the man couldn't be higher. Printed out the email and put it on my classroom wall, sitting alongside a 'caley's heroes' poster of the 3-1 win over Celtic, a 4-3 QOTS win over Aberdeen newspaper poster, a John Terry slipping printout, and an A3 photo of 13 friends and I outside the Parc de Princes after that Scotland win. Really gutted i'll miss the first two Romania games :029:

In a word.... no. But there may be progress behind the scenes, which could lead to a positive or negative announcement from him or the club next week.
