  1. Since tonight's game has been rained off, will Hutton and McCulloch's suspensions be carried forward to our game? Apologies if this should be in NON-ICT

Off topic again, but i've been to about 6 six games and we've been beat in all of them! And only scored 1 goal... :024: As a result, I decided to skip the Gretna game, which we won. For the good of the team, I shall now also skip the Hibs cup game and Rangers at home :009:
  3. I was about 11 when I started supporting ICT, when we were in our first season of the 3rd Division. Before that, my dad took me to a lot of Aberdeen games since he is a Dons fan; but I never much liked it. Instead I would look forward to Gazetta Football Italia on a Sunday, as I really liked the player Guiseppe Signori who played for Lazio; so I became a Lazio "fan". Spent 2 or 3 years in my back garden taking one-step penalties with my left foot, despite me being right footed, just to be like him. It was only when I was older that I discovered Lazio's fascist roots etc... Then my dad took me to an ICT v. Aberdeen friendly and I really enjoyed it, much more than Pittodrie games. So then I became an ICT fan. At the time I was playing for Elgin City youths, so got quite a bit of stick for that, and didn't even celebrate when I scored a winning goal in an important league game :009:
  4. That was the highlights from the 30 minute show on the Saturday. You get extended highlights on all the games on the Sunday edition of the Full SPL on Setanta. I've got it Sky plus'ed, so hopefully there'll be more shown of the other chances...
  5. Russel "Drunken, Driving"!! And surely Denzil can't still be tired! It was 9 months ago that the baby making took place?

Oh christ I mind him from the Motherwell game! "Come on the Magnificent Nine!"

I think Clyde v. Dundee United is being shown on BBC
  8. What with McGuire suspended, he'll be playing there for the 3 games coming up against Hibs, Rangers and Motherwell I take it.
  9. Hold on... Caff signed for St Johnstone? :004: :016:
  10. Gone a bit flat... apart from a few chances for gretna. Would love brew to give guys like Gillespie, Vigurs or Paatelinen a 30 min run out; but doubt it'll happen. Chance to rest Duncan, Black and Cowie 3,919 (or something like that) is today's attendance.
  11. Might as well sub him off now, as that's his goals for the day. Next goal is the 1000th
  12. 25 yard drilled shot, good play by Duncan to set him up as well apparently :clapping03: St Midden are doing us a favour just now as well :021: ... will Marius get his usual double?
  13. I'll take that lineup :clapping03: Good to see Markus back
  14. I had planned on going to this game, but 'for the good of the team' i'm going to stay in Aberdeen. Today was my 5th game so far this season, and we've come away with no points from all of them. So if I stay at home, we'll get the win :021:

Was really disappointed with his challenge today, it was totally unnecessary. Looked a soft pen from where I was sitting today (in fact i joked before the game that Lee Miller would dive for a pen today), but there was no need to go charging in on him. Instead push him wide and try to block any shot/cross. Proctor has to come back in for him against Gretna
  16. Good call.
  17. Aberdeen Team News: Darren Mackie (ankle), Michael Hart (back), Andrew Considine (ankle), Jackie McNamara (hamstring) and Zander Diamond (ankle) are still sidelined. As a result, Calderwood is set to name the same squad who took part in Saturday's 1-0 win over St Mirren. Aberdeen (from): Langfield, Mair, Touzani, Byrne, Foster, Aluko, Maguire, Nicholson, Severin, Clark, Young, Jamie Smith, de Visscher, Miller, Lovell, D Smith, Jonathan Smith, Soutar.
  18. I mentioned this in the Kilmarnock tickets thread, would be wonderful to have that happen for this game. The papers would all be expecting another "lowest SPL attendence" story, and arrive to find an overspill of home fans :021: 3 points against Aberdeen and there is a very good chance this'll happen!
  19. I've always been supremely confident before Dons games and left disappointed. This time i'm not so confident, especially with Aberdeen's excellent home record. Hopefully that's a sign that we'll get the win then!!
  20. Joanna's nightclub perchance Bowl 2000?

With bells on :021: 2nd "home" game of the season, and no school the next day :016:
  22. But full time employement does! Zander would have to pick a paper-round to support himself to survive his part-time Elgin City contract...
  23. Took this from a thread on Pie and Bovril... Watching Jim Weir on 'Shire TV and he confirmed that Garry will be at Montrose till the end of the season which is good news so roll on Arbroath Bit disappointed, as I thought he showed enough in pre-season to suggest a run out this season. Hopefully they sign new contracts with us and will be better players as a result of their full season's worth of SFL experience :clapping03:
  24. Fingers crossed we had some sort of sell on clause inserted in the transfer, as 15%, 10% or even 5% of ?1million would be fantastic for the club.
  25. Whilst back in Elgin over the xmas period i read that story in the Northern Scot (local paper). The Elgin City manager made it very clear that they were desperate for Zander to stay on, and were concerned that a team from Divison 1 or 2 would look to take him on loan for the last 6 months of the season, on the back of his impressive performances. Made plans to see Elgin City v. Stranraer whilst I was back, but the game was called off with frozen pitch. Am i right in saying that Zander still trains in Inverness at least for a bit of the week? Since he's on a full time contract with us, whereas most of Elgin City are on part-time? On another note, I've got a few Montrose supporting mates who are delighted with how Garry Wood is playing for Montrose. Many had him as their MotM yesterday. Fingers crossed we can maybe get Garry back for the 2nd half of the season and send Rory out on loan?
