  1. Good to see there were no bookings as well. As if you get booked twice in the rounds you are suspended; not sure if there is an amnesty round later when your yellows are wiped off... Good on the boys. Doubt we'll play the same formation against the Dons, but could to see them adapt well to the change. I just hope the reason why Hastings wasn't in the squad, was because he was in talks with Aberdeen (as i'm constantly hearing rumours up here in the granite city, that there's a swap deal on the cards for Mackie)
  2. Televised draw?? BBC?? SKY??
  3. when is the draw for the next round made?
  4. Is there online coverage of the game somewhere??
  5. My connection is still working :024: Having to listen to the hearts game is a pisser though :020:
  6. Maybe bring on some subs to rest players for next sat?? Hope they leave Dargo on for his hat trick
  7. Mark Brown would have to save one within 15mins though :023:
  8. There's a couple of Rangers diehards in my S1 and S4 class that i can't wait to see :021: :015: The Dons fans at school will be loving my Caley allegience too
  9. If Sebo can play for Rangers so can I!!! If Sebo can play for Rangers so can I!!! Ohhh... if Sebo plays for Rangers, Ohhh... if Sebo plays for Rangers, If Sebo can play for Rangers so can I!!! How i didn't get a kicking when celebrating our goal i'll never know... Only ICT fan in a room of about 50 Huns :021:
  10. Ah, you have to select the Kilmarnock game to listen to the ICT v. Motherwell game. :024: :024:
  11. Where is the radio coverage for the game?? Cause the BBC have the hibs game on, where the link clearly states ICT v. Motherwell. Is there any other site that'll have it??
  12. Jamie Mole is a Geordie
  13. :014: Seems like there are a few options then. It'll be for the game against Killie on Dec 16th, so there's plenty of time to make a confirmed decision and phone call etc. Pretty sure i'll be through for the game against Hearts this weekend, and possibly on my loansome. If so, i'll pop in by the Innes. Do they do food?
  14. Are there any pubs that still run buses to the ground on match days? The reason i ask is because my father and 20 odd work colleagues (all Dons/Dufermline/Dundee etc etc fans who consider ICT to be their second team) are making their bi-annual trip from Elgin to see ICT game; to which they used to get the bus from the Pheonix Bar. Since that has ceased though, are there any other buses running from other bars? I've previously got the free taxi service from a bar on the way to the ground, think its called the "Drift Bar" or something like that. All i remember is they had free freshly caught prawns on the tables!!
  15. I wouldn't be too hasty in dropping Duncan, as he played very well yesterday. Like most though, i think its about time we rested McBain as he hasn't given much to the team at all lately. Maybe move Rankin out wide and bring Black back into the center. Mark Brown to come straight back into the team?? I was very happy with Fraser's performance, and would quite like him to keep his place.
  16. Good to see a saltire in the ICT end. Was fed up of all these Irish flags...
  17. According to BBC - Defender Paul Telfer is Celtic's biggest injury doubt for the game with Inverness with a hip problem. Gary Caldwell (knee) and Kenny Miller (ankle) are also doubts, while Mark Wilson has returned to training. Maybe i'm being a bit too optimistic, but with the Man Utd game on tues, i doubt they'd risk Kenny Miller on sat. If Telfer and Wilson are both out too, who could come in at right back for them. Bobo Balde to replace Gary Caldwell? ... so many questions. Either way, lets just put out our strongest squad and get stuck in!! :021:
  18. I went for Dargo. Sods law he'll be suspended for the next game after Celtic though. Can't believe Eugine Dadi is in that illustrious list
  19. Exactley the lineup i'd like to see. With maybe Hart coming on for either Duncan or Rankin if they are underperforming

Final score?? Hope Hart gets a game ahead of McBain on saturday. Really missing his bite in midfield. Plus he scored there last season i remember... omens... Talking of omens.... i had a dream last night that it was 0-0 half time on saturday, but woke up soon after that. Think i'll put a cheeky £10 on a half time 0-0 draw now!!

According to SFA website Scotland and the Republic of Ireland drew 0-0 in a B international in Dublin tonight, in a match which gave an opportunity to a number of fringe players to stake a claim in Walter Smith's future plans. Andy Webster returned to international action as captain of the team at Dalymount Park, partnering St Mirren's Kirk Broadfoot in central defence. Kris Boyd started up front alongside Stephen Naismith, with strong attacking support from Chris Clark, Stephen Pearson and Scott Brown as the Scots sought to impose themselves on the Irish. In a lively first half, the Scots had the better opportunities to score, and Steven Whittaker came close as he ended a superb run with a shot that went wide. Kris Boyd shot straight at the keeper as he ran into the box, and then five minutes before the interval there was a strong claim for a penalty as Scott Brown was fouled on the edge of the box but the English referee ruled the offence was just outside and no penalty. From the resulting free kick Boyd hit the side netting. The flow of the game suffered in the second half from numerous substitutions, but the last quarter of an hour saw chances at both ends to win the game. Ireland's Andy Keogh miskicked a simple chance in front of goal, then three minutes later a Naismith shot was cleared off the line before being tipped over the bar by the keeper. In 82 minutes Mark Brown was forced into a great save from Joe Gamble, who was a threat for the Irish throughout. The game eventually ended without a goal, but it was a useful exercise for the Scots who worked hard throughout but allowed too many careless passes to go astray, ending many a promising move. Scotland could have won but perhaps a draw was a fair result. Ireland: Randolph (Quiqley 86), Foley, Emanuel, Bruce (O'Cearuill 50), McCarthy, O'Donovan (Stokes 50), Gamble, Gibson (Frecklington 50), Keogh (Long 77), McPhail (Potter 46), O'Brien (Hunt 43). Scotland: Gallacher (M Brown 46), Whittaker, Smith (Adam 59), Broadfoot (Greer 54), Webster, Stewart, Naismith, S Brown (Miller 54), Boyd, Pearson, Clark (McEveley 59. Referee: Martin Atkinson (England) Attendance: 3,000.

His contract is up in the summer of 2007. He can sign a pre-contract agreement with another club 6 months before it ends i.e. Jan/Feb time. The club are working hard to get him on a new deal, but as the SPL c*ckup keepers are all over the place now, there will no doubt be vultures swooping around. At the moment, i don;t think anyone can guess what will happen. But like most other ICT fans, I am confident Mike Fraser is ready to step into Brown's shoes should he decide to leave. ... i'm not sure if Mike Fraser's contract is up in summer 2007 too though!! :024:
  24. P & J says Charlie Christie is happy to let some of his Caley Thistle players join Peterhead on loan when the transfer window opens in January - providing Blue Toon manager Steve Paterson is willing to give youth a chance at Balmoor Stadium. Former Inverness and Aberdeen manager Paterson has already been in touch with Caley Jags counterpart Christie with a view to bringing some players to the Second Division club in the new year. He has been offered encouragement by Christie. Christie said: "I've spoken to Steve and, while we haven't mentioned individuals, he realises the situation we have here with no injuries and quality players not getting a game Steve, I'm sure, has more experienced players in mind but it has to be of benefit to both clubs. If Steve wants me to scratch his back he will have to scratch mine and it may be the case where one experienced player is allowed to go on loan along with a youngster. "Peterhead are a good side in a difficult league and I know the benefit that can be found by going on loan. Barry Robson came on in leaps and bounds when he was at Forfar on loan for six months and came back here full of confidence. "With the Scottish Premier Reserve League shutting down for the winter break we will have six or seven guys not playing and I want to keep them ticking over." Christie was unwilling to discuss senior players he would be willing to loan out in January but he is considering allowing some of the younger fringe players the chance to play regularly. He said: "Steve admitted it would be a real feather in his cap to introduce one, maybe two SPL players to his side at Peterhead. He felt the team was a bit lightweight in one or two areas at Morton last Saturday. "I would certainly not allow Rory McAllister to go as he is in the squad every Saturday. But the likes of Stuart Soane comes to mind. He is a youngster who I would love to get more football experience." I'd like to see Soane get 6 months on loan, but would also love to see the likes of Zander and Rory get at least a 1month/2month loan to keep them progressing. Obviously this Under 21 team quota is shooting us in the foot here
  25. Daily Rangers says today... DOUBLE DEAL By Ian Orr CALEY THISTLE are in talks with Peterhead about a possible double loan deal. With Charlie Christie's 21-man Inverness squad remaining remarkably free of injury, competition for places has created a bottleneck. He is cautious about releasing experienced players to the Second Division side during a tough campaign but sees the potential benefit in co-operating with new Peterhead boss Steve Paterson. Christie said: "Steve is honest enough to say it would be a real feather in his cap to introduce one or maybe two Premier League players to his set-up. "I'd be delighted because I trust him 100 per cent and know he'd have our players' best interests at heart."
