  1. Any player that has signed since yogi started is his signing, it doesn't matter who found the player really. He's the manager and gets the final say on the players surely. I'd like to keep both keepers actually, a bit of competition for places would be great for the team next season. Esson would be a good back up but would he ever be brought back into the team if there was a dip in form of our no.1? Probably not and most likely would only start if our regular was out injured. That isn't going to keep anyone on their toes. Keep Brill and OFW and have Esson as our goalkeeping coach.
  2. Shaun I think its time to hide behind a new user name.
  3. Wasn't that a club merger rather than a name change?
  4. They refere to us as inverness as every weekend when the scores come through or any league table has it down as Inverness CT.
  5. If regulars from the CJT busses start to join the Gellions bus wouldn't that mean lost revenue for them? If they don't make any profit from the busses already then surely it'll mean even more money is lost.
  6. I know it's a different cup but Birmingham won the league cup in 2010-11 and were relegated in the same season.
  7. I'm still confident we'll be playing Dumbarton in the semi's
  8. I'd like Morton or Dumbarton away. But looking at the teams left if we manage a home tie and avoid hearts and Celtic I will be happy.
  9. The goal appeared as a McManus OG on sportscene the other night. I don't even think storey touched it so he really doesn't deserve to be credited with it.
  10. If it's true that Tansey decided to stay then that's incredible. Loyalty is hard to come by in football and I applaud him.
  11. Surely Alex's comments are a bit tongue in cheek and it's just because it's County showing us up on a rare occasion that's made him say that.
  12. You start by saying there's no sign of a striker to be signed and then mention we sign two strikers.... We didn't lose anyone in the window, signed 3, possibly 4 (yet to be confirmed) and you think that's a disgrace?
  13. I find the hatred towards Ross County as fake manufacturing. We have a rivalry with them from being the only teams close by and nothing more.
  14. I see its now starting to filter through on twitter as a loan deal.
  15. Do you know the truth then?
  16. If true then that is another great signing for them, is there a source?
  17. I don't know how realistic it would be to sign him but I rated him highly when he was playing in Scotland.
  18. I'd guess the reason he signed on a decent length would have been something to do with the release clause, allowing him to leave early if a team was really interested in him. £200,000 isn't a disaster for a club our size and I very much doubt anyone would have paid more than that. He would have been more likely to move when his contract is up and get nothing at all. I hope he stays as he will be hard to replace but I wish him all the best if he does decide to move.
  19. The two that still haunt me are... Inverness 0-1 Partick Replay after a 2-2 draw at firhill. It was a midweek match and the rain was horrendous, if we won we would have got our first semi final but sadly a Scott Paterson free kick finished us. Livingston v Inverness again in the quarter finals late into extra time when Paul Dalgleish scored the winner for Livingston, quarter final defeats were always the hardest to take.
  20. I went on the 4 hour round trip to Station park last night to see Forfar v Linlithgow and recorded the ICT game for when I got in. A flare was set off prior to the match which then delayed kick off. The floodlights then went out and instead of lighting another flare to get the game back on they threw smoke bombs instead! The game was then abandoned for floodlight failure even though the lights were back on
  21. If it was the cup final he wouldn't have went off injured.
  22. Mantis how many of the "other" Scottish teams have you visited then going by that site? I've been to 10% of the 226 but I reckon you've been to a fair few of them. I've only really visited the junior teams from the West with a couple east teams thrown in and a couple highland league teams also.
  23. He tweeted before the cup game saying he was injured. I guess he is still out and that's why he's no where to be seen.
  24. Darran Thomson is manager at Edinburgh united.
  25. Kyle Allison was man of the match for Kelty Hearts this afternoon.
