Mantis I’m surprised you’ve agreed to this, you probably go to more neutral games than anyone here.

I go to see lots of neutral football games when my own team isn’t near by or not playing at all. The game will be on tv though so that will be good enough for me.

My expectations were to improve on last season, I would be aiming for getting into the playoffs. I don’t think we are there yet for promotion but that is where we need to be aiming. I forgot how much I enjoyed The rants from Thurso so I’d be ok with us going into a bit more turmoil just for that.

And Beith is in Ayrshire, maybe he’s somewhere in the middle.

I always thought our recruitment policy was based around signing good players with potential but highly injury prone, therefore other clubs not really giving them much of a chance.

I don’t see how we could afford to double his wages.

I love this idea. There is an article on it on the bbc website about more championship games being shown on a Friday night.

It’s a quiet day in Thurso everyday.

I don’t think so to be honest, they started well, and I honestly couldn’t believe we were 3 up within 18 minutes, every break we got we took. Ayr had most of the ball for the rest of the game and ran us quite close at the end. They had a decent claim for a penalty as well at one point, but then so did we.

He pulled off a great save right at the start which could have put us one down.

Any decent strikers in Thurso?

We’d probably get a points deduction for going for the latter so I hope not.

I can’t believe people are moaning about a Monday night. Especially when the distance between the two clubs is so short. Scarlett you’ll need to start moaning because you can’t get to Falkirk for 3pm on a Saturday.

Don’t see the issue with Monday night, I really like the Monday night and Friday night games.

Celtic 1-0 March in 2003, those were great days to be an Inverness fan and by far the best atmosphere I’ve witnessed at the stadium. I don’t think there was one player in that squad that I didn’t rate.

I’ve looked a few times for it. It’s as if they don’t even have one!

There’s got to be some sort of hidden gems in the HL we could attract. I remember when we signed Richie Hart, he was probably one of the last we signed from there and he ran riot in the first division.

Although cove were put out by Auchinleck this season in the Scottish Cup i’d still fancy Cove to win the playoff.

I think there’s a difference between replacing players when we are 3rd/4th in the top flight to replacing them in the first division.

I like polworth and would rather keep him if we could but he is replaceable. Over the years we have lost far greater players in the first division and found new players that can fill the boots.
