  1. Probably pointless but may put some people in a calmer mood leading upto todays game, i am certainly a bit nervous about todays game. We have now beaten Raith 9 games in a row leading back to 2002. We are unbeaten against them in the last 15 matches leading back to 2000. In those last 15 matches against Raith they have only managed 7 goals. In those last 15 matches against Raith we have scored 36 goals. Raith haven't scored against us in the last 5 matches. Now for the stats that matter. We are top of the league and they're no. Raith are playing Rangers next week and don't give a monkeys about our game.
  2. I also now believe, and thats what scares me! At the start of the season i was going to be happy with top 3 and a cup run, which is what we got (and still will get). The challenge cup final was a great day out if not for the result, and the two Motherwell games were excellent as well as the atmosphere at Killie. But now we're top of the league by 4 points and i now can't help but expect us to be promoted. In a way i hate being top. It's not as fun as chasing the pack and it really is a lot more stressful. If we were second right now i'd expect to easily beat Raith...now i just hope we don't f**k it up and any win will do.
  3. Add Rooney, Tokely, Esson, Duncan to that and we've got an SPL team.
  4. It would have been 6 cleansheets if we didn't concede a penalty against Queens.
  5. Of the ones set to expire, the ONLY ones i think that are up to SPL football are Foran, Hayes, Esson and Coz. We would survive without the others. And before anyone points it out...yes i know i have omitted Tokely. I think he would struggle this time round at SPL level Yet another season goes by where people think superman isn't upto the job. I remember his first season in the SPL when he had his doubters and ended up being our best player by a mile. Tokely deserves another shot at the SPL and he'll prove everyone wrong yet again IMO. Where "IMO" being the operative words!! But surely after everyone wrote him off season after season from the 3rd division right up to the SPL you would know better than to assume he wouldn't be good enough again next year.

  7. Why did we give Golabek a two year deal? I know he's done relatively well this season but at his age surely that was a bit of a gamble.
  8. I'm not sure, i think even Granty's contract was up. I was thinking it was someone like Lionel.
  9. 4 points now... I have confidence to bump this to the top again
  10. I'm not 100% sure but Nick Ross and Graeme Shinnie signed new contracts recently, as did Terry and Mo. I think we have 3 other players signed up for next year, Rooney and Duncan possibly but can't remember who the 3rd is.

    WTF?

:D Delete this thread! I almost died! I can't believe i STILL get caught out with Aprill fools :D haha.
  12. I'd prefere to be 3 points infront of Dundee with the last game to go, meaning the league isn't officially ours yet but Dundee would have to put about 10 past us to win the title. Then we get our pitch invasion and no nerves throughout the game!
  13. Surely this thread should be changed to - "Dundee has the jitters"
  14. Yup i agree, just hope Odi is more effective tonight.
  15. The last two games i've been to (Killie and Partick) has been the best atmosphere in a long time and the killie match was probably the best. The drums however were good for chanting Caley(clap clap clap)
  16. I've collected a number of ICT shirts over the years from 3rd division upto SPL and back down and i like wearing the old ones just as much as the new ones.
  17. I'm sure Livi destroyed us something like 4-1 or 4-2 with Xausa and Wilson both scoring 2.
  18. Mark Brown was one of the young players Terry let go
  19. I thought the exact same thing, Its a brilliant idea for a set up. I found the database a couple of months ago on the Sports Interactive (SI) Community. Here is the link but you need to be a member to view the forum so just sign up. http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=157069 Its called the Scottish Pyramid, Platinum Edition. The only thing i didn't like about it was the several B teams that are in the lower leagues. They completely run riot as they are using 2nd string players from Rangers,Celtic Aberdeen etc. They can't get promoted after a certain league so whoever finished below them ends up being promoted. Unless of course you go Rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen etc then its brilliant as your 2nd string players get first team experience and are kept more than happy playing first team football.
  20. I am currently about to start a new Scottish league as Golspie Sutherland. I'm not too sure if anyone has ever used this Custom Database but it is excellent and really revamps the scottish league into something special. The added bonus of going teams like Inverness City or Clachnacuddin is good is well. Sorry for the ridiculously long message but i just wanted to let you's all know the details and maybe this will interest you to give it a go. 21. I presume the buyer has been able to keep the guitar and Ebay themselves has paid the buyer back the money. This has happened to me before as i sell on ebay very regularly. It's the gamble you have to take when you sell things and i can understand the buyers frustration at times as things i have purchased off ebay has came and it is not quite what i expected. I always offer a full refund but will expect the buyer to pay for the postage on returning the item. Once it has been returned i then give my refund.
  22. I'd always be willing to give things a go in other cultures more than i would back home, if its acceptable to be eating those things in Asia and i'm in asia then yeah i probably would. Cats are better than dogs, so good my 3 cats are trained to use the toilet :024: They take care of themselves really, although cats also need love and affection they can get this from other cats and don't require it as much from their owners. I think dogs on the other hand seek out attention from their owners, and of course need to go for walks and go outside for the toilet with assistance, cats don't. It really does depend on the nature of your animals though, some are more favourable than others. I too have tried ostrich, had it in a restuarant once and thought it was quite nice actually. But nothing special as you as when put it up against your usual beef etc.
  23. Somehow i don't think people should be getting their throats slashed in prisons though and this needs to be addressed. Prisoners think its acceptable to attack criminals with worser crimes but they are all scum and shouldn't be allowed to do this. I do agree though for crimes like Ian Huntley has commited capital punishment isn't a bad idea at all. I'm all for it if they can be 100% proven guilty.
  24. Exactly, we haven't always been playing this long ball malarky. We need to change BACK to keeping it on the deck. I think it's only started to creep into the team over the past few games going by what people have been saying (haven't seen us play since Killie). We need to get back to playing the way we were.
  25. Yup i'll be there! Walking this one from paisley
