  2. Pray that I get into Uni If not im ******
  3. I believe we will finish 2nd or 3rd this season. I like your positivity but I dont see any real evidence that can say we are going to go on a run of 6 or 7 wins in a row, I also dont see where Dundee are going to drop at least 13 points. It will need to be more than that as well as I cannot for the life of me seeing us win every league game for the rest of the season. I heard on Saturday that Hayes might be off. It was only a rumour but it is one that you could see happening. This season is just got to be used for building for next season now and then we will have to see who we can bring in next summer and hope that we can put up a decent title challenge next time around
  4. In the first half you could see why Dundee were dominating the league. The controlled the game and deserved to be in front. I never saw the penalty but I have been told that is was a silly tackle to make and a stone wall peno. As for the second half I thought we pretty very well and I came away from the game dissapointed that we never took all 3 points. It was brilliant from Rooney to get on the end of a sloppy pass back from Kerr and a great finish. I wish Foran had put his foot through the ball from the indirect free kick and tried to keep it on the ground rather than trying to chip it in. I felt we wasted the chance (even if we hit the bar). Sanchez also had a brilliant chance which I thought he should have scored as well. I was already celebrating and was gutted to see the ball go wide. Duff was excellant today as well. He had some dodgy moments but for the most part his passing was very good and had a lot of one two's with players. However I did feel that we were trying to over complicate things when we were close to the Dundee Box. I dont think Dundee can have any complaints about the sending off either. The lad (Harkins I think?) was stupid to throw the ball away and then made a rash tackle for his second yellow. Normally I would have been happy with a point but that effectively ends our hope of promotion (if you didnt already think it was gone). There is plenty to build on off the back of this performance so I just hope we can put a run together and get as close to Dundee as possible by the end of the season
  5. It was a bit of a wasted trip. We had the better chances and Rooney should have scored at least 1 of the 4 times he was through on goal. I thought Bulvitis was brilliant. He seemed to get a lot of pace from somewhere and made some very good tackles. I though Duff was ok. He passing was poor but he is a very good tackler he doesnt mess about when he tries to win the ball. Hayes was poor but I reckon that was more down to him getting marked by 2 Dunfermline players every time he got the ball. Imrie was crap when he came on so I would not be sorry to see him go in January. Sanchez and Cox were up there as our best players. The only thing we were missing today was somebody who can finish as I thought we were better than Dunfermline everywhere else on the park. It was freezing as well I think it was about -2. Bring on Dundee next week. We need to win but I still dont think it will make much difference
  6. Thought it was a very comfortable win. It was a great finish from Rooney on his weaker foot. He smashed it in at the near post. I think it clipped the post and went in. The Raith keeper will probably be thinking he should have saved it but it was the only thing he didnt get to. He was brilliant today and if it were not for him it would as others have said been 5 or 6. Thought as usual Johnny Hayes was fantastic along with Cox and Sanchez. Hopefully we can build on this by getting a result at East End Park next week. Butcher was on the bench today but I noticed he let Malpas get on with it today possibly in preparation for the next 2 games which are going to be massive but all of them are going to be now as we are a hell of a long way behind
  7. I was impressed with him. He didnt do anything to stand out but his passing was very good. He has only been here a day so I wouldnt be surprised if he wasnt at his best. If we extend the loan in January I reckon he could be a very good signing
  8. When was the last time you heard us use the drums at home? It has been a while now... Oh it hase to be 3 or 4 years since we had the drums at home I think. Still think that singing without the drums would be better though. On saying that just getting any sort of noise just now would be a good thing
  9. tbh I find that having drums just get in the way of the people singing. It is great for the start of a tune but it is really annoying when they get played while people are trying to sing as most of the people can only hear the drums. IMO it would be better without them
  10. Will we be getting a transfer fee for this if it goes through. He probably isnt worth much but every little helps
  11. After watching the highlights I reckon the ref has had a shocker. I can understand why Foran got sent off but there was no need to send Duncan or Lilley off. Just give them a talking to and get on with the match. The same for Butcher it happens with all managers when they dont get a decision. They have a bit of a rant but you saw that he went back to his dugout and that should have been the end of it but instead the ref needs to try and remind everybody that he is on the pitch as well.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZ7neuHc7eQ Here is a link to the highlights of the game that somebody from one of the Queen of the South Forums has posted Hopefully I am allowed to post this link
  13. Personally I think Duncan has done pretty well for us this year. He has had a few dodgy moments but nothing so bad that people should be giving him abuse. So what if he was crap over the last few years. He his doing a decent enough job so far this year so I hope he will continue when he gets back from suspension That is not including today's game since I was not there
  14. Esson Proctor Bully Munro Djebi Zadi Cox McBain Hayes Sanchez Imrie Rooney
  15. Dundee 1 point from 1 game Queens 1 point from 2 games Partick 0 points from 2 games County 0 points from 2 games Dunfermline 4 points from 2 games Raith 3 points from 1 game Ayr 4 points from 2 games Airdrie 4 points from 2 games Morton 6 points from 2 games
  16. After seeing the updated table including tonights games I have decided to go to this We must get 3 points on saturday to keep any sort of hope of staying in the title race
  17. Everybody else had summed the game up very well. We were good in the first half but I thought Partick were good for the whole 90 minutes. Some great Esson saves and some poor finishing from Partick meant we had the lead at half time. We had a few chances as well so it was fairly entertaining. Second half was just like the cup final. we lost all of our shape and there was no surprises that we lost the game. I was again very disapointed with Ross Tokely. He has been shocking for most of the season and really needs to get himself sorted out. The full backs have been our undoing in the last few matches so Butcher needs to try and solve the problem and maybe bring in a Right and Left back in January to shore up our defence
  18. I will be going. After this I will have been to every ground in the First Division
  19. Wasnt there yesterday but I dont care about what the peformance was like. We got 3 points and that is all that matters. From what I was told is was a comfortable win. What more do you want? We should not be expecting to play like Brazil we should just be wanting to go home with a win which is what we did. Lets just hope it will continue. For only losing 1 game in the last 6 with 4 wins it alls seems to be a bit doom and gloom. Who cares if it was against lower league teams we still have to beat them which is something county didnt do yesterday
  20. I was told by my mate (an airdrie fan) that they did not play well against Dundee. They got a lucky goal and if it were not for their goalkeeper it would have been 7 or 8. They did well to keep the score down. Still you are right that we cant underestimate them. I still think we will win 4-1 though.
  21. I thought the terracing was brilliant as well. There was plenty of space to fit more people in which would have made it even better. I wish we could get the terracing back at TCS
  22. It was Lucozade or powerade bottle I think. It had a sports top thing on it. It was not vodka. Some red thing got thrown on as well and that was when the ref stopped the game to hand it to the police @caleykid - it was one or two too many but you always get that in a big group of away fans and only having one or two people is probably not that bad. Apart from those few I think it was a very good support It was a half bottle of vodka, as i saw the police handing it to a steward near the white tent and then they went on the pitch to talk to the steward next to the goals When the ref stopped play and ran over to the tunnel that was with the tomato sauce bottle. As I saw the Tomato sauce bottle go onto the pitch and then watched the ref pick it up from beside the goalpost and give it to the police officer. There was not bottle of vodka thrown onto the pitch Yes it was a bottle of vodka. I even saw them giving it to the police and then them giving it to a steward. You might have seen a tomato sauce bottle being thrown but it was a vodka bottle the police handed over to a steward. That wasnt thrown onto the pitch though. They might have handed it over but it wasnt thrown on the pitch Yes it was. You might have not seen but me and about 10 others did. END OF. Well done the boys from section G singing to the gypos after the game and them getting all worked about it That wasnt just Section G you know Where was this bottle of vodka thrown onto the pitch? If it was beside the goals it was not a bottle of vodka if it was from somewhere else it might well have been Doubt very much that was Section G as half of them were on the bus back to Inverness by then. The other half being in the Mallard EH NO. I was walking with most of them at the end of the game as they were singing to the gypos when the came out of the jailend Yeap and that was not just section G. There was a few of them
  23. But we cant keep on picking him for the sake of not having another CB. There are other players that can play CB. If he stays in for saturday i can see us losing badly to Airdrie I would gladly try somebody else. I dont really want to see Bulvitis in the team but on the other hand I would rather see a natural CB than a makeshift one. It could be worth testing some players to see what happens. But we only have 1 natural Cb in Munro. Bulvitus aint a Natural CB, he is a RB. edit: if the club bothered maybe we can pick up Gary Caldwell in january(cant be worse than Bulvitus surely?) Never knew that Maybe Bobo Balde. He might take a pay cut
