  1. Are you not allowed to drink on trains anymore ? You are allowed to drink on trains. Sometime for big games they will make it a dry train. That only happens for really big games and thankfully they wont see Caley playing Ayr as a big game
  2. We didnt get it for the previous game this season so this is a very valid point. I dont think the Ayr board are going to be that stupid though
  3. In other words we have the basis of a squad for next season assuming we are promoted and assuming all, or most of, the above want to re-sign for the club. Yeah pretty much. I reckon we could do with another striker as back-up for Rooney, a left back and possibly a centre back as well
  4. Esson Proctor Tokely Munro Cox Duncan Hayes Foran Odhiambo Rooney Bulvitis (for backup)
  5. Just thinking about it know I am finding it really weird at how differently you look at games when you have a lead to hold onto with so little games to go. Before we were top I would have thought that all of the games bar Queens away and Dundee home were all winable games and wins that could be quite comfortable. Now we are top I still think that they are all winnable games but I very worried about the threat that Ayr, Dunfermline and Morton will pose. Just shows how much nerves and playing with the pressure on can affect you. Hopefully the team dont start thinking like me
  6. After the game today it makes me think that there is still a long way to go. This on paper was going to be our easiest game of the season and it was one hell of a struggle. It is going to be a massive task to win this league still and todays game should be shown to anybody who thinks it is a formality I have confidence that we can do it and am hopeful that we will but I am under no illusions at how difficult it is going to be
  7. Yeah thats true but I am only including league goals
  8. Rooney has 18, Foran has 11 and Hayes has 9
  9. For a serious one I would go for Paul Lambert. He has done a remarkable job at Norwich
  10. Sorry to be as pedantic as you too, 23/1/10 13 points ahead with 2 games in hand, 17/1/10 15 points ahead with 2 games in hand. 19th and 26th Dec, 12 points with no games in hand. They still fecked it up what ever way you look at it. Sorry. I never thought the most was 13
  11. They were only 13 points clear by the way. Sorry about being pedantic but it had to be said. Anyway we will wait and see at the end of the season. I am confident that we won bottle it but who would honestly have said that Dundee would have fallen apart back in January
  12. Just a shame you have to vote for ICT players ad Tuffy was the best player on the pitch. For Caley I went Rooney Foran Tokely
  13. It also includes a draw at home to Celtic and a win at Ibrox. Its an ok record but tbh Im not fussed about his past record I care more about what he does between now and the end of the season
  14. Because the club is trying to pick and choose when they want to play teams. The club tookages to agree when the county game was going to be played. So why would we not want to play Queen of the South today then? We have no reason to be scared of playing them. We probably have a better chance of beating them today than any other time because we are getting good results just now Maybe the pitch is frozen and it was too cold for the USH to work. Not everything has to be a conspiracy
  15. Why would we not want this game on? We are the form team in the league and I would have thought that the players would be desperate to just get on the pitch which would make me think that the club would do everything they could to get the game on. It was freezing cold at about 2 last night so I wouldnt have been surprised if the USH was not having an affect
  16. Was an incredibly boring first 65 mins. We only had one chance from Foran early on in the first half and Raith only had one chance as well where Esson made a good save The goal came out of nowhere as well but Raith fell apart after that and it turned out to be a great day. You just get the feeling that the league is going to burst into life during the next few weeks. If we win our next 2 home games the away day at Dundee is going to be massive
  17. I would like to see them both stay but can we afford to keep them. That will be the thing that decides if they stay or go
  18. I am very confident that that will not happen again for a few years
  19. Quite what you're arguing here is beyond me. BARROWMAN NEVER GOT CHANCES!!!! What part of that is difficult to comprehend?! He played 40 odd games and scored 3 goals iirc. I do agree that he never got a prolonged run of games to try and get on a scoring run but even if he did I dont think he would of scored. Not because he is a bad player but because the way we play doesnt suit him. Barrowman is not a clinical finisher. Yes he scored 29 goals for County in the second division but he needs to have 4 or 5 good chances to get 1 goal. Thats what his problem was at ICT when he played he onle ever got a max of 1 or 2 attempts. That is not enough for him. Only in the last few games of this season have we started to create lots of chances so it was never going to work out for him here. It might not work out for him at County either but from what I have heard they do create a bucket load of chances but they dont have anybody who is willing to stand up and take one even if he misses 4 clears chances. Barrowman will do that so dont be too surprised to see him score a few goals but no matter how many goals he does score for County we cannot blame Butcher for letting him go because he would never have scored reguarly for us for the reason I gave above. Thats the difference with Rooney. He will run after loose balls (not very quickly) he will try and hold the ball up as well. Barrowman was not as good as Rooney at those things. On top of that Rooney is the 2nd top goalscorer in the Division. When we only play 1 out and out striker it is obvious that Rooney is the man to start. He is a better player for our style of play
  20. Bully was crap the day. Him and Zadi were all over the place. Also Esson's fault for the first goal
  21. Has anybody stopped to think that we were playing away from home against and SPL team. Fair enough we conceded 3 crappy goals but apart from that we did well. We created a fair amount of chances but unsurprisingly the SPL team had the quality to keep us out They beat Celtic 1-0 in midweek and some people on here are trying to make this result the start of some crisis Get a grip. We had a decent run in the cup. We were beaten by a team we all knew were better than us going into the game and I reckon we gave a decent account of ourselves
  22. How are you getting back so early? I thought that the earliest train left Killie somewhere between 6 and 7 (specific I know) and gets back to inverness at after 11 The trains before that left while the game was still being played. That is what I got from the Scotrail website anyway
  23. I reckon that their is going to be a pretty good turnout for the game That said my version on a good turnout is anything over 200
