  1. My niece works in it (and she's an ICT fan!) and it does very well apparently. It's also I believe the only place locally that does the 'proper' shirt numbers and names. Not much of an ICT fan if you ask me, I'd rather be signing on than being on the pay roll for one of the old firm With your fondness for the other side of darkness that must hurt though lol Dougal
  2. Improved performance in my opinion and it should give the platform for Yogi to now progress, seemed to be a bit more fight in the players today which has been missing of late Shocking attendance though which must be getting a bit alarming for the board, not sure what crowd we need to break even but it's concerning Dougal
  3. Seems I was a bit hasty offering my congrats here to Caleyjagsforever when the real heros were the Scottish Sun Dougal
  4. dougal

    John Hughes

True but the other way of looking at it is that he's an oaf Dougal
  5. One of the greats from a great era you wonder how much the likes of Eusabio, Puskas and Pele would be worth nowadays if they were playing RIP Dougal
  6. Fair play for getting the costs reduced but let's be honest here there was no hope in hell of getting the time of the game or the venue changed We are in the big league now and due to Inverness's location there will always be situations arising like this We should remember that we are in a very small country and when you put our journey into perspective with the likes of say Newcastle/Sunderland who have to regularly travel to London we don't have that much to complain about The reduced costs should mean more will travel though so hats off to caleyjagsforever for once Dougal
  7. Eh so where exactly do you this potential attraction of more fans coming from? Anyway it's good that your back after a very quiet spell and it's good that you seem to have taken the break up/disbanding of the green brigade so well Dougal
  8. Aye not wanting to stereotype a large proportion of our fan base but I reckon he's the exact type of fan ICT seems to attract Wouldn't be surprised he voted differently than your goodself 20 years ago Dougal
  9. While there is a hatred of ICT regarding how it was formed we will always experience **** poor crowds in Inverness Stadium relocation might help in the short term but if the attitude of let's get on with what we've got continues that sadly won't change either Dougal
  10. At least British Transport Police will have an easier day Dougal
  11. Total sh1te I didn't think it possible that there could be a worse song than "bring it home" but this is it Dougal
  12. Look at the slagging Raven took when he started his ICT career yet he has become one of our best players when fit The lad should still be given a chance it's still early days, and like others have indicated it's maybe worth experimenting with him in other positions Dougal
  13. Seems I was right again Dougal
  14. It's quite staggering how far back we seem to have gone under John Hughes, I personally don't think it's all done to Yogi either if I'm being honest Butchers hasty and somewhat secretive departure still makes me think things were far from right despite the fact we were up there with Celtic I know I get accused of being negative at times but the amount of negativity directed by some towards Yogi is ludicrous considering he's only just in the door a matter of weeks It takes time for a new manager to gel just look at Mr Moyes at Man Utd. It's always going to be difficult for a new man to come in when that club has been doing well As for calling for his head that's madness and it won't happen as he's just been offered a 2.5year deal, I doubt we could afford to offload him anyway Dougal
  15. Why should I retract anything my points still stand Charlie wasn't long enough in a managerial roll to be considered a success Dougal
  16. Look Bush I really want to see Ryan break into the first team I wish him the very best and from what I've seen of him in action I think he will be a huge success at ICT as was his father Not once have I stated Charlie was not a success at ICT If he was on the verge of breaking into the talented Celtic first team though I find it odd that he returned to Highland League Football Dougal
  17. So Charlie never bottled it went he went off to Celtic? Thought he returned homesick correct me if I'm wrong So Charlie never went missing at important games while at Caledonian Fc.? Ask Mantis or the Immortal Jungle Ender!! So Charlie was a success as ICT manager? Eh no!!! I'm not doubting Charlie's ability he probably is up there with the most talented players ever to come out of Inverness Dry yer eyes RiG at least this thread as given you a chance to add to your tens of thousands of posts on here and P&b with your top class banter and wit that everyone loves Dougal
  18. The fact that we've started to fall down the table means its a 100% yes for strengthening in my opinion I do worry what type of player Yogi targets though it's likely we will start seeing a different sort of player arriving to what we've been used to under Butcher The type that likes his fitba, gives 110% and his an honest good bloke which translates into cart horse Dougal
  19. Since Hughes has got the reigns the fight seems to have gone missing Celtic treated this game like a training session and weren't out of first gear in the whole 90mins as soon as they scored we never looked like getting back into the game Dougal
  20. Yeah the talent is there and I feel a breakthrough is imminent although I just hopehe hasn't inherited his fathers gene of bottling it when the going gets tough Dougal
  21. He's lucky he wasn't booked to be honest I think most refs in this country wouldnt be so lenient and a yellow would have been shown Afraid this incident puts Ross in the spotlight even more so now with the refs and he could become a target if he doesn't wind it in a bit Dougal
  22. Think it inevitable that Butcher will come back in January to raid the club the real concern is how many will jump ship that's why it's important ICT bring in the right manager now because if they don't we could have a mass exodus on our hands Hibs can pay better wages than we can and its fair to say to those of us that have lived in both Inverness and other cities in Scotland or England that if we were to chose to live in Inverness or Edinburgh the majority would pick Edinburgh Inverness's problem like Dingwall is and always will be its rural location, we will always lose players to central belt teams sadly Dougal
  23. Alex is right here is one of that chats he had with grassa http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AKXlhpeb6wI Dougal
  24. Think it's fair to say Thistle players and fans throughout their history were all affected with the ugly gene Dougal
  25. Think we should see Morton off quite easily but I'm dreading to see and hear what crowd we get next weekend what with County playing the same day We have always had extremely poor attendances at home in the early rounds of cup competitions but we could be looking at the 1000 mark by my reckoning and that would be cringeworthy should we have a new a manager at the helm Dougal
