  1. Sorry I meant starting, he should be the first pick every week, the fact he played down the Merkinch on Wednesday night speaks volumes to me Something not healthy with the whole Draper situation as the guy is 100% fit and has no niggling injuries Dougal
  2. Mr Mantis who's idea was is it to include the offending slogan under the CaleyThistleonilne.com on this site then? Just seems one hell of a coincidence if you ask me Regards Dougal
  3. Elgin1 is obviously on the wind up, my guess is he could be a member of the resurfacing N.E.S.C Anyway I'm not totally outraged by the result, you have to remember the playing surface Alloa are great at home as they have a huge advantage over their opponents despite having far inferior players Wait and see Celtic take 6 or 7 off them in the next round when they are back to playing on grass Artificial surfaces should be banned in Scotland, leave them for Iceland,Norway etc and the MLS What is concerning though is the players not acknowledging the travelling fans at the end and the managers reluctance to start Draper There has already been speculation about Drapers future and a possible switch across the Kessock Bridge, by not playing him will only fan the fire of these rumours Dougal

Says Rural Aberdeenshire!! It's surely relevant information to the club so they can target the correct people for future season ticket sales I'm back living in Inverness now but you are correct I will freely admit I don't have a season ticket, I'm working class with all sorts of expenses, remember not all folk fit in the middle class to upper class bracket and can easily afford season tickets or hand out £30 quid Never said it did matter or it made you a better/worse fan, I agree the more supporters the better however it's obvious when attending home games that there are fewer Invernessian accents in the stands. It's merely an observation from personal experience Lastly let's hope the track and field in Rio starts soon, you never know we might get a break from having to read the drivel that spews oot the gob of the self acclaimed athletics expert, sadly I doubt it though Dougal

Even more interesting would be how many season ticket holders were actually born and bred Invernessians? Think people would really be shocked by the findings Dougal

Alway laugh when the free loading press or folk on the payroll try to justify ticket costs regardless what club it implies too Let's not beat about the bush here £30 is an absolute disgrace for a run of the mill league game all be it a derby that is now sadly no longer as exciting I probably would pay grudgingly £30 for a European night but even then it would have to be against quality opposition not unknown entities from Eastern europe Dougal
  7. Oh the irony Bannerman trying to rubbish a story because he thinks it's fabricated to suit the authors agenda LOLZ Dougal
  8. Caleyboy you're wasting your time trying to get an official answer as it won't happen, communication between the middle/upper class and the likes of the working man rarely if ever happens Sadly Scottish Football has now lost it's working class roots, money has destroyed the glorious game Dougal
  9. Probably due to the constant gale force winds and the waft of turds from the dump No one in their right mind would build houses in that location let alone a football stadium Dougal
  10. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if the mods or admin on CTO had some sort of influence on the club regarding the offending slogan seeing they readily use it as a sub title on this web site CTO should start the ball rolling and remove it from this site first in myopinion Dougal
  11. The Pride of the Highlands logo sounds like some sort of slogan that was initially spewed out by an incomer and not an Invernessian hopefully Its cringeworthy and doesn't do our club any favours, if any online poll is started by you caleyboy I will happily sign Regards Dougal

With that pricing think it's safe to say we might well see the worst top flight attendance ever for a highland derby The derby should be a showpiece event for the highlands sadly it's now being diluted into a normal run of the mill game Greed is a terrible trait Dougal

From someone who idolised Jim Leishman I think your opinion regarding how good or bad football managers are should be taken with a pinch of salt Dougal
  14. Richie Foran knows his legs are gone, I think deep down he knows he's going to have to go out on loan next season if he wants first team action guaranteed Elgin City would be an option and I've heard from a reliable source that they are interested Dougal

The present ICT board reminds me of the Celtic board of the late eighties(IHE will verify as he was a regular in the jungle at the time) Celtic won the double in their centenary year then sat back without pushing on and let it all decay away due to neglect and mis-management Yogi took us to two cup finals and cemented himself as the most successful and greatest ever ICT manager yet he's been hung out to dry by a backward thinking board I wish Big Yogi well whatever he decides to do, I shudder to think who will be the next gaffer it certainly won't be anyone of the same calibre sadly Dougal
  16. Guilty consciences - the remorse they feel to previous offences must eat away at them not that they will ever admit it though of course As time goes on I don't even feel any empathy towards them just embarrassment Dougal
  17. Fair enough you could argue it is but it is one establishment I've not had the misfortune to enter in years Even in highland league days it seemed to attract some of the biggest roasters in Inverness Suppose it's a good place to store the cake ingredients though what with its catering facilities Dougal
  18. Id recommend The Beano or The Dandy before Against All Odds Its wrong for CTO to advertise such a publication claiming it gives a balanced account of the merger Dougal
  19. You have to applaud the Gellions for starting such a venture. Inverness must be the only town/city till now that doesn't have a supported club running from a local boozer. Cant help thinking that caleyjagsforever must be silently seething not that they would admit it though Gives the day to day punter a choice which is a good thing Putting it simply if you want to bake cakes and sing shania twain songs you go with caleyjagsforever but if you want the traditional football experience you go with the gellions Dougal
  20. Yeah every time you log on without fail Anyway surely these gentlemen have now set a precedent, if these two stewards are on duty next season we will surely see an empty away stand within five minutes of the game starting when Sevco are back in town Dougal
  21. Born not manufactured Dougal
  22. ^^^^^^ Without doubt took various hidings from Aberdeen and Hibs when a Celtic scarfer. Probably explains why he's soft in the head now Like jagster says it's hard to believe two thirds of Scottish clubs allegedly have these type of groups Other than the usual old firm behaviour I can only remember a skirmish between Hearts and St Johnstone when both clubs were both in the highlands the same day I assume we are one of the clubs that don't have such a group attached mainly due to our relatively low attendances and the keyboard warriors Dougal
  23. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35544730 Having experienced this first time should we be worried about unrest on the streets of Sneck or are the authorities/media simply overreacting? Dougal
  24. http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/inverness/1342582-ross-draper-i-may-not-have-signed-new-deal-if-ict-had-plastic-pitch/ Well said Ross it's about time someone spoke out regarding this nonsense, think I speak for the majority of ICT fans regarding this subject; ICT must never lay an artificial surface they play on grass and they will continue to do so, there is enough plasticity as it is without adding to it Ok the surfaces have vastly improved since the QPR or Luton days back in the 80s but the surface is still highly dangerous and players don't want to play on it as the chance of injury increases ten fold Leave it for the MLS where disney characters etc can dance about on it, the only clubs that have introduced it in this country are those that try and get an unfair advantage on their opponents Dougal
  25. Looking forward to hearing the aftermath of this private meeting "When the women's guild meets green street!!! Lets hope caleyjagsforever behave themselves Dougal
