  1. It's the Scottish Cup Final ffs the entire ICT support including the suited wallopers in Caleyjagsforever should be the singing section Do you think Falkirk fans are asking this question on their forum...??? NO!!! Ridiculous thread and in my opinion should be deleted to prevent further embarrassment Dougal
  2. You seem upbeat considering you lost. ^^^^^ Desperate to see his beloved Orcs back in Inverness Dougal
  3. Just in the door after a fair number of pints pre and post match Thought we were very impressive and we controlled the entire 90mins albeit against an extremely poor County who in my option are now destined for the championship Shame really because I think both clubs need each other in the same league for financial reasons but who knows they might go on a signing spree again this month Also quite impressed with our support hard to tell did we sell the entire end but there were very few empty seats near me Even the atmosphere was pretty good at times pity it wasn't like this at the dump because I could tell it really inspired the players Dougal
  4. Why are the covers down in the first place when we have an underground soil heating system installed? Is it too expensive to run or not working like it should? Not being funny but putting out an open invitation to all fans you could have hundreds turning up meaning a serious loss of income in free tickets Maybe restricting it to Caleyjagsforever members would have been the more sensible option Dougal
  5. Cheeky 1-0 win here and we go second so a lot to play for in front of a bumper crowd all be it mostly Dons Going into the new year second would be a tremendous achievement by Yogi and the players and would set up the highland derby nicely Fair play to Yogi he has proved a lot of the boo boys wrong Dougal
  6. I notice a certain so called journalist was trying to play down the effect the merger has had on ICT attendances in the local rag a couple of weeks ago The fact he still needs to even mention it twenty years on speaks volumes Dougal
  7. Correct me if I'm wrong but the worst poster ever in CTO history voted by us works for said organisation does he not? A match made in heaven although the heaven part is debatable Dougal
  8. Standard childish response from CaleyD but I think halving the North Stand straight down the middle isn't that bad an idea considering the dropping numbers in the home ranks Ok this would need to be implemented at the end of the season, but just think how much extra income would be generated from the extra hundreds of tickets that could be sold to Dons and Celtic fans Getting all ICT fans huddled tightly together in a few sections might also improve the atmosphere rather than being scattered here and there Dougal
  9. Rival Not harsh at all fair chance we will see Dons fans in the home areas tomorrow too all beit without colours I'm no fan of Aberdeen mainly due to their stupid accents but I tip my hat to them for travelling in such numbers Dougal

    The pitch

Pitch was looking pretty frozen this morning, with the temps dropping again tonight it looks like the undersoil heating will be switched on Could be a colder one than normal tomorrow time to look out the tartan blankets again I always worry when artificial heating gets an airing I know various groundsmen hate it due to the damage it can do the pitch and they prefer to put down the insulating covers Dougal
  11. Tremendous achievement by Aberdeen shifting over 3000 tickets, it's probably safe to say there will be more Dons in the ground than us and that sadly sums up present day football in Inverness Anyway being the holiday period maybe a few neutrals or tourists might help swell the home troops because it will be a sea of red all around the ground if not You got to wonder how our ticket office would cope if they had to deal with a large attendance without so many going to away supporters though Regardless should be a cracking atmosphere I'm thinking of a score draw 1-1 or 2-2 Dougal
  12. I just cannot understand why people pay good money to watch 90 minutes of football and then spend a chunk of that time queueing for food in a place where they can't see the game. Oh dear a bit rich coming from someone who has never ever paid for a match ticket while gorging himself on free pies and cups of tea Dougal
  13. The phrase "You reap what you Sow" springs to mind Dougal
  14. It's simple really all SPL clubs should get together and charge the punter the same cost I'd say £15 max for adult and £7.50 max for a concession If Scottish clubs are serious in trying to get fans back through the turnstiles then it's inevitable that ticket prices will have to drop Dougal
  15. My first appearance at the Dump for a couple of months and I was very impressed with the performance and the way Yogi had the team set up and how they played Yogi had a lot of doubters on here but he is fast proving a lot of the roasters on here wrong and for that I salute him Only negative today was the crowd I think I heard the official attendance was just over 3000 but it didn't look anywhere near that The better ICT play and the higher we go in the league the poorer the crowds get, draw your own conclusions from that but there is something seriously unhealthy with that Anyway congrats Yogi you've now got the team playing your way and it's a joy to watch for those of us that turn up Dougal
  16. Not sure what the OP's intention was starting this thread or nor do I really care but I'm starting to cringe every time the tartan army is mentioned in conversation these days Sadly they are fast becoming the laughing stock throughout Europe with their drunken rampages and escapades The booing and drowning out of "God Save the Queen" was an outright embarrassment, along with the lack of respect was a disgrace and quite frankly has shown Scotland in a very bad light I've followed Scotland for many years home and away but the over indulging in alcohol has steadily got worse in my opinion and hence their behaviour deteriorates The cost of clean ups in city squares alone must be colossal, never mind the repairs to fountains that they fill with fairy liquid Think it's time the tartan army start to wind their neck in a bit as they are in danger of crossing the line from being football supporters to some sort of political organisation Dougal
  17. I nearly fell asleep attempting to watch the first half, second half improved slightly but if this continues just watch the already poor attendance drop as entertainment was at a minimum Sad thing is Yogi probably thinks last night was a success as ball retention was reasonably good Hope this post was acceptable to mods and won't be removed by mods without an explanation Dougal
  18. Great watch he will be a huge gap to fill when he does eventually leave the club whenever that is Still think if Yogi got a decent striking partner in beside Billy you would get even more goals out of him Dougal
  19. Superb result huge three points already as it was a tricky opening fixture Delighted that we beat the first plastic pitch cheats let's hope we can do the same to Killie Accies and Killie for relegation Dougal
  20. JIM I would class that as an extremely lucky escape Dougal
  21. Take it you went to Dens that day as a neutral then..? http://youtu.be/HOy93DPqd5s Dougal
  22. I agree 65k is scandalous if that was the correct figure offered Realistically though we will have to accept a reduced fee one of these days though otherwise he will eventually have to go for nothing while out of contract Billy McKay realises for him to become a starter on the international scene he's going to have to take the step up to a superior league and he now sees his future lying elsewhere Think Yogi's reluctance to find him a strike partner speaks volumes Dougal
  23. Well there's the sectarian singing, bigotry and threatening behaviour from the Orcs for a start Saying that there will be certain board members and fans delighted with a trip to castle greyskull as they can play homage to their big team Other than getting some money in the coffers it's a sickening draw for us and one which we could easily fall Judging by the game the other night against Hibs looks like the Orcs do indeed walk away so not even convinced the money side will be that lucrative Dougal
  24. You are an odd individual Davie, a self acclaimed Dundee Utd supporter who's watches ICT yet wants Aberdeen to win the league Good fishing on your part though as I've nibbled Dougal
