The property that houses the social club was sold by ICT in 2010 to Graeme Bennett, who was a director at the time, for £280,000. My understanding is that the lease between him and the social club had a minimum term of 10 years, which would mean there’s a renewal decision to be made in about 2 years time.

Scott Boden on the scoresheet today - now there’s a phrase you don’t see very often, not since August 2016 in fact! After 18 appearances his for Wrexham, he got off the mark in a 4-1 defeat.

I see Liam Hughes moved from Barrow to Guiseley a couple of weeks ago. He was playing in their FA Cup defeat at Mansfield this afternoon before being subbed after an early red card.

I suspect that there have been times in our history when we have played (and won) despite players not getting to bed until 3am and waking up feeling dehydrated!

Keep him yes, but at what cost? Double the wages of the rest of the team? A wage that prevents us signing a good striker? He was offered what the club can afford or consider him to be worth at this level, and turned it down. Time to go separate ways, unfortunately.

Terrible preparation, but I would tend to agree that it is not sufficient grounds for postponement. I think we would be up in arms if one of our home games was called off because the visiting team didn't get their intended sleep and nutrition the day before. Hopefully the adversity galvanises the team even more.

Whilst we are still on track to be gifted the stands, the statement makes it appear likely that our landlord is hoping to develop the current car parks into something else. What’s that all about?

Are you saying that we should have operated with a much smaller wage budget than we actually had?! I would have said that basing it on 7th place was a sensible compromise of ambition and prudence. Take a 6 figure sum off Foran’s budget and we would have been condemned to a relegation battle even if he had turned out to be a good manager.

Disappointed with that draw. Away from home. Not a money spinner. Not a ground that is a novelty for us. Would much rather have got a more winnable tie and saved the giant killing opportunities for the latter stages.

Higher! 7 whole games plus the last 27 minutes v Dumbarton makes it 657 I think (without messing around with injury time).

The return of Doran was the highlight of the game - I was pleasantly surprised at how fit and lively he looked. Bodes well.

7 clean sheets in a row is a remarkable!

It’s some achievement given that we were a shambles who conceded 2-4-3-2 in the previous 4 games! Despite the recent impressive defensive record, only 3 teams have conceded more. Interestingly, one of them is top of the league!

A trawl through each season’s results on this site seems to reveal that this is the first time ever that we have gone 6 competitive matches in a row without conceding! There have been several occasions when we’ve managed 5 in a row in the league, including some at Premier league level - one of those was when we won all our post-split fixtures under Christie. In terms of minutes, it is fairly likely that this is also our longest run but to be certain you’d have to look at when the goals were conceded in the matches immediately before and after the various 5 game runs.
