    Partick have released Danny Devine (contract expired) and transfer listed Miles Storey (ie desperately want shot of him but he still has another year on his contract).

    I caught some of an interview with Uncle Roy on Radio Scotland this evening. When asked about next season’s wage budget, he confirmed that it would have to be cut, but that it would be “up there with the healthiest in the league”. Does that mean matching Dundee Utd’s?!

    Presumably N’Gog will be on the lookout for some other mugs to pay him a fortune to contribute very little. One goal in his 5 months is an abysmal return for a 28 year old striker ex of PSG and Liverpool and must make for an eye watering cost per goal!

    County have just 28 points. We were pretty terrible a year ago but at least managed 34!

    I thought he was great - his failure to track Tremarco’s run into the box won us the cup!

    And Elsdon! Plus, Ridgers was making a mistake pretty much every game. Unrecognisable from the keeper we now know. Having been conceding 2 or 3 week in week out, and 5 at Dunfermline, we have ended up having conceded just 2 more than the lowest goals against tally in the league, quite a turnaround.

    Don’t mean to rain on the 5th place celebration parade, but if you had told the board 12 months ago that Robbo would fail to make the play-offs and at no stage in the season have us look like we would get promoted, would they have given him the job? No chance. The season has been a failure in that respect, but at least the recent fantastic run gives us some hope for the future. It’s like when you come back from 0-3 down to draw 3-3, compared to having thrown away a 3 goal lead. Same outcome in the end, but one way of doing it makes you feel much better than the other!

    For season 17/18, and without looking up the answers, which player: 1. Made the most starts? 2. Made the most appearances off the bench? 3. Matched Vigurs with a club record 17 yellow cards? 4. Had the most appearances without scoring? (Excluding Ridgers!) 5. Spent the least amount of time on the pitch (of all the players to make appearances)? 6. Had the best minutes per goal ratio?

    5 down, 3 to go. Took us until December to accumulate 5 league wins (and two of them were against Brechin), yet now we have 5 in one month and it’s only the 18th!

    3rd best. Assuming you put Ryan Christie first, Grant Munro was a very solid, reliable and consistent performer in the top flight for several seasons. Polworth is good and has potential to be better, but hasn’t exactly stood out in the 2nd flight.

    Very disappointing that Morton get a 94th minute winner whilst Utd, after being sh1te for 2 months, suddenly beat the runaway league leaders. Still, all can do is win our own games, and 3 in a row makes this our best run of the season.
