The “Team” section of this site has great stats on appearances, cards and goals. Unfortunately it isn’t populated for 1998 to 2002 so all-time stats are incomplete, but Tokely is still way out in front with 77 yellows and 6 reds even before you consider the ones he racked up in those missing seasons. Incidentally, Warren is up there with 6 reds from about half Tokely’s number of appearances!

We could develop the Nessie theme by launching an exhibition assessing the evidence as to the existence of Andre Martins and Felitciano Zschusschen. I’m sure we could compile some grainy images, the occasional eye witness account and some plastic models of what they might look like.

Blimey, wasn’t expecting this, but now we know what the new Chairman’s been working away on recently. Great move to adopt a neutral name and finally defuse the merger tensions after 25 years. In a similar (but politer) vein, my 10yo daughter said to me at half time “why don’t they try to kick it into the net?” This was followed by “and why is the ball up in the air so much?” She was obviously comparing her first pro game with the coaching she gets at a girls team she recently joined. I could only reply “good question!”

Contrasting fortunes for the two players who represented their countries yesterday - Mackay was lively and did really well to put that cross in, whilst Froxyllias lost Tremarco, who knocked it in at the far post.

Took my daughter to her first ever football match and spent 90 minutes thinking she’ll never want to to another one, but what an ending. She says she enjoyed it, but I’ll perhaps need to explain that games don’t always result in a win, a cup presentation and all the confetti!

Blimey, with Tremarco and Golabart we are up to 5! I wouldn’t describe Roman’s loan spell as forgettable, he was really good. The one I have in mind is a current Tranmere player.

Nope, a loanee we had, who signed for Tranmere a few months after a pretty forgettable spell with us.

I can think of 3 players who have played for both ICT and Tranmere, but none with a Bordeaux connection.
