  1. Also in the squad is Airdrie’s Liam Prunty, son of ex ICT striker Bryan.
  2. He brings a bit of quality and creativity to our attacks, in the same way that Bingham did in our promotion season. I fear though that, as he’s had plenty of time to accept our and hasn’t, he’s off.
  3. We’ll, we kept it tight for 15 minutes, 1-1
  4. I see Max Ram is now at Gloucester City.
  5. Sad to hear this, I didn’t know him personally but enjoyed his contributions here.
  6. They might do it in 2025 once the A9 dualling is complete.
  7. 1-2 FT, FFS. Two defeats this week to sides who were near the bottom of the league. Is it the case that the new manager bounce is over and we are back to being as p1sh as we were under Dodds? Surely not?
  8. Did anyone else see this BBC Sport headline and nearly choke on their cornflakes? For the avoidance of doubt, it not Billy!
  9. I’m sure we are all painfully aware that we have lost quite a few games this season in the dying minutes. Meanwhile, most of Raith’s wins seem to have come from late goals. Someone in the pub told me tonight told me that he saw a league table calculated on the basis that games ended after 80 minutes and it had us up in 3rd, whilst league leaders Raith would be 8th. Is this true? And what can we do about it?
  10. My fear is that we’ve been trying for a while to extend Wotherspoon’s contract and there’s been no announcement of that being successful. Meanwhile he will be attracting attention from clubs closer to home in the central belt.
  11. Keeper’s positioning made it a bit too easy as well.
  12. The only entertainment Sheridan has ever given me was what he once wore on Sportscene!
  13. Really didn’t expect to lose this one.
  14. Great away win, especially after going a goal behind early on. I’ve been thinking recently that, whilst we are far from a perfect team, we look capable of giving teams a doing. We did that today and we’ll do it again.
  15. I’m still waiting for the injury time heartache!
  16. Sorry to revive an old thread, but I see on BBC news that the police have today released pictures of 5 men they would like to speak to regarding “culpable and reckless conduct” at the cup final, and disappointingly, 3 of them look like they are in the ICT section. Curious that it has taken 6 months for them to take this step? I didn’t see any problems from our fans, or the other lot, that day. Any idea what this is about? [Goes without saying I’m sure, but don’t name names.]
  17. Something we have learned from the VAR era is that with the curvature of the ball, you need to be able to see a few centimetres of grass between the ball and the line for all of the ball to be over the line. There must have been thousands of wrong decisions in football before this became a thing! Remember this from the last World Cup, eventually everyone agreed that the ball had not crossed the line.
  18. Ball was right on the line, a few inches from being a goal.
  19. Conceding late goals has denied us a lot of points this season - twice v Raith, twice v Dunfermline and home to Utd, off the top of my head.
  20. What a sickener, 1-0 up after 85 mins and we lose. I’m guessing the loss of Devine was a blow?
  21. Another eye catching tie is the ‘Buckie derby’!
  22. Home tie v a Broomhill, team we’ve never played before. Weekend of 20 January.
  23. The positives today are that we got to rest some first team players, give game time to fringe players, and most importantly, we are in tomorrow night’s draw. Dundee Utd aren’t and nor are Arbroath. Dick Campbell gone after 7 years (feels like he’s been there forever!). Wonder if Dodds or Robbo will be interested in that vacancy?
