Team for Stirling
It's not that long ago that you were only allowed 3 - remember Aberdeen deciding not to put a sub keeper on the bench for the Cup Final and Leighton getting carried off early on...... I'll be interested to see if we actually name 7 subs and incur the potential bonus payments for subs 6 and 7 who have almost zero chance of being used.

January transfer window.
Played for 10 clubs in 4 different countries, and still only 25! Can you be labelled a journeyman at that age? Scored goals wherever he's been which is encouraging, although I'm not sure how high a level some of these clubs were playing at.

Just let it go mate, let it go.

which is why I can see Dundee Utd being interested, he's the kind of hired gun a team in their desperate situation might try to bring in on a short term deal.

Favourite ICT 'keeper Poll
We've clearly done OK for keepers over the years, when you consider that the one who just a few weeks ago was capped by the team ranked 8th in the world only just makes our top 5!

How close - within spitting distance?!

Inverness CT -V- Ross County
Very true but before we start to convince ourselves that our leaky defence is improving, let's remember that County's 2 main goalscorers were missing (20 goals between them so far). For comparison, we wouldn't be much of a threat to anyone if you had to replace, say, Storey, Tansey and Polworth (17 between them).

Post-match comments from Hughes (from BBC): With that pace and the form he's on, that's the first bit of business that we want to try and do," said Hughes. "Everything else is on hold because the goalposts have been moved a little. "Hughes made light of his efforts to contact Swindon Town chairman, Lee Power. We read a newspaper article that Lee Power says he's in talks with Inverness," Hughes told BBC Scotland. "He's not answered his phone to me. It's ongoing. I'm going to strangle him. Goalposts moved? Budget not as big as hoped? Plans to offload a player fallen through?

I like the way the Accies no. 24 celebrates our second goal.

Liam Polworth
There's no "Young Player of the Month" award any more which is a pity as Polworth would surely be a shoe-in for December. I'd like to think, though, that his name would at least be mentioned when the actual PotM award is being discussed. But regardless of that, he's had a great month, a breakthrough month.

What just happened?! Really strange trying to follow a game whilst at work, I think that's a first for me. Difficult to contain emotions in a professional manner during those last few minutes. Great stuff, great outcome, really wish I'd been there.

ICT on BBC Sports Personality Of Year
After reading that a few times I now realise that when you say you were "at it" when we were mentioned, you mean you were at the present at the awards ceremony - as opposed to being "at it" in the sexual sense, which puts a somewhat different perspective on the remainder of your post!

Scottish Cup 2016 - our defence of the trophy!
Must have been a great moment for James Vincent to see himself feature so prominently on SPOTY, even just for a few seconds. (I trust he was watching that, and not The Sound of Music).

Ex-ICT players' news
A week ago I asked what Latapy was up to these days, and since then he's been in the papers a few times. Yesterday's Sun filled a column inch or two with a "he could be the man for Alloa" non-story which had no basis other than the fact that he was interviewed for the position when it was available last season. The Record today says Latapy is very keen on the St Mirren vacancy, and also mentions that he applied for the Motherwell job a couple of months ago.

Benjamin Omerovic
Indeed, there's some great distribution in that video - just needs to put on a few stone and he could finally be the replacement for Bobby Mann! However, some of the fancy stuff is a bit heart-stopping, and presumably the showreel omits the times it all went wrong and he got dispossessed.......

New Shirt Sponsor announced
Love it, that's Lille, who I used to go and see when I lived there. Interestingly both French clubs you've shown have alcohol sponsors, when not so long ago there was a ban on advertising it in France. The Scotland rugby team, when they were sponsored by Famous Grouse, always had to remove the sponsor from their shirts when playing France.
