What pretty much all supporters want is a merger of the league bodies and the end of the SPL's ludicrous 11-1 majority voting requirement. Without overcoming those obstacles, nothing will ever change. The number of teams in the league is actually pretty irrelevant to me, because if it doesn't work then you can just change it. I think it would be really sad if we missed this opportunity for fundamental reform.
