  1. Thought we were very good in the first half, controlling the midfield and looking threatening on the attack. But poor defending cost us this game. Not for the first time, and not for the last, I'm sure.
  2. Cool, only ?15 to get in. The Gerry Kerr stand is the old, wooden seated bit just down the touchline from where we normally are.
  3. Aye, and Lennon can consider himself very lucky I wasn't there at that point....cos I'd have issued him with a strongly worded letter.
  4. I think the match referee is assumed to have made the right decision unless there is clear evidence that he got it wrong. Which he did. I had a great side-on view of the incident and there was quite a few inches of daylight between the two players heads. I was so angry about it that I wrote to Martin O'Neill telling him what a cheating, lying ***t his club captain was, but to this day he still hasn't replied
  5. Surely he didn't have any say in the matter, the keeper kicked the ball off Ross's legs and it rolled out to Tade.
  6. Because Ayr didn't have Stuart Duff when we played them?
  7. Just being a geek, probably! Anyway, this subject is getting far too many Collum inches.
  8. Could some of that just be SPL monies not payable until after the end of the season, and which we would not have had at all the previous year?
  9. Looks like our injury list is worse than we had been led to believe. Apparently the scars are taking a long time to heal...
  10. That surely ranks quite high up the list of "Phrases you never thought you'd see".
  11. Live Streaming!
  12. Lithuania 0-0 Liechtenstein full time! Cesnauskis red carded.

3rd place on Sickipedia? My mother will be so proud. This one is my favourite, possibly Thai? I can't help wondering if they are reporting this as genuine BBC transfer news.

Out of curiosity I googled "Skor de Gaulle" last night and was amused to note that just one day after the gag originated here, it now appears on dozens of websites (mostly football forums but joke websites too) from here to Australia, with some posters mentioning that they received it by text. It's appeared on an Iranian sports site, and also on foreign language forums in Belgium, Norway, Portugal and Turkey. Interestingly the majority of instances refer to Arsenal trying to sign the 3 Belgians, which is a neat adaptation given their predicament. The power of the internet, eh? Now I can just sit back and let the royalties roll in........

But do you think he'll make the bench?!
  16. There were actually dozens of cups in the cabinet at Kingsmills, but they were the polystyrene ones used for Bovril.

And we are still looking for 1 more player according to that article.
  18. Good idea, much safer than sleeping pills.

You heard it here first - and now it's gone global! But I'd rather they started their posts with "Shamelessly nicked from Caleythistleonline"

Can you tell us a bit about him?
  21. Well done to all involved.

Just spotted this on the BBC's website transfer deadline day page: Tim, Keighley via text: "Arsenal interested in Belgian defender Mark de Man. Apparently, they are also interested in his compatriots, striker Skor de Gaulle and goalkeeper Bloek de Schott."

Trial extended after he suffered a muscle tear. Came off the bench and scored at the weekend in a friendly and seems to be in line for a contract offer. Billy Mehmet was also on trial with them but didn't make the grade.

He'd be known in Scotland as Crusty!

And then there's the tricky winger, Kros de Bols. We signed his less fortunate Irish cousin, Dislocate de Shoulder.
