How apt
From the BBC Gossip page: Seriously?! You half expect the article to continue that they are also interested in his compatriots, striker Skor de Gaulle and goalkeeper Bloek de Schott.

Andrew Greig
The current injury crisis gets young players like Greig closer to the first team for a short while BUT reduces their chances of getting match experience by going out on loan. Normally we'd have sent a player or two to the likes of Elgin by this stage of the season.

Caley Thistle chief Fraser to step down
It's for our SPL season, with all the associated TV money etc. Source - Chairman's Report Translation : if we hadn't sold the Social Club, and if the directors hadn't put more money in, we wouldn't have had enough money to pay the bills. It's nothing to panic about, but highlights that the club will not be sustainable in its current form without regular injections of cash, significantly increased prize money, or a drastically reduced wage bill.

Caley Thistle chief Fraser to step down
The other point of note is that we made of loss of ?190,000 for 2010/11 despite the profit on selling the social club property. Does anyone have a copy of the accounts to give a bit more understanding of our underlying performance? It sounds like the recent cash injection is something that will be needed annually just to cover our losses.

Up to 10th
Until they get a better manager, perhaps. I'm surprised they've been so supportive of Calderwood when results and performances don't seem to justify it.

Up to 10th
Their only points of the season came from us. :annoyed: Similarly, Aberdeen have 4 points, 3 from us. But it feels good for us to be moving up the table, at last.

When will our injuries ease up
FFS, and 7 of them would probably be in our first choice XI.

ICT -V- Kilmarnock : Matchday Thread
Today's win is reminiscent of the season when we lost our first 6 games, then Brewster got a late winner to beat Hearts 2-1. What a feeling that was, and it got the team on the right track.

Feckin magic! I'd forgotten what it feels like to win.

ICT -V- Kilmarnock : Matchday Thread
Terry said Mackay is the closest of the injured players to being ready, which is why he is on the bench.

Febian Brandy
I suspect every club in the land has been offered this guy, so I wouldn't get too excited. Having years with Man Utd and England (up to U20) on his CV is very impressive - which just begs the question why hasn't he been able to find a club over the summer? Whether it is ridiculous wage demands, an injury, or he's just not very good I have no idea, but it seems a bit suspicious to me and I'm sure Terry will be wary.

Looks the best team available. Note that we've only got attacking players on the bench - might come in handy when we are chasing the game!

Team fer Killie
And with that in mind, along with our team generally being a bit of a shambles at the moment, Killie's odds of 2/1 seem rather generous. Seems a bit strange that we are favourites for this one. Hopefully the bookies are better judges than I am.

AJG Parcels North Cup Final
Especially now that Aldred is away.....

Europa League
Aye but the season after that our league champions will have to go through 6 qualifying rounds just to get a place in the Intertoto.
-
Team fer Killie
Terry admits Mackay is not fully fit but even with him in the squad we will still have two empty spaces on the bench.
- Who's this?

AJG Parcels North Cup Final
You know at the moment, I'm not actually confident we could beat ourselves

When will our injuries ease up
Indeed. Terry was complaining to the press in July that the early start to the season was ridiculous and none of the teams were ready. Wrong Terry, you weren't ready, none of the others seem to have had much trouble with it. Everyone knew the date months ago and got their teams assembled and prepared accordingly.

Europa League
FFS, you know it's been a bad night for our teams in Europe when when the nearest thing to a positive is that Hearts only went out 5-0.

Last nights debacle
Aye, tremendous banter as well - no doubt helped by the 3 bottles of wine he drank during the gig. Thank feck our result wasn't known at the time, cos he was ripping into a guy who foolishly proclaimed he was a Pars fan.
-
Last nights debacle
After the first 20 minutes of last night's game, I decided to abandon my PC and take up an offer to go and see the ex-Marillion singer in concert. And boy am I glad I chose Fish over Pish.
-
Last nights debacle
Pish performance and a result that was hardly a surprise. But not our worst, or even top 3.

Tom Aldred has left the building
With Rossco, Golo and Hogg ahead of him in the pecking order he'd be lucky to make the bench here, which completely defeats the purpose of going out on loan. Its a shame, he looked promising. On the plus side, it frees up a wage.....
