Who Is More Important to ICT?
Hayes has a rarer talent than Rooney, and surely strikes more fear into opponents than anyone else we've got. And our results without him speak volumes too. Alex, yes its a team game but some players are simply more important than others. That's why we have different wage levels.

Our worst ever players in the SPL?
Yes, he got some games in our first SPL season, and surely takes the prize of worst SPL player. Whenever he came on as sub we used to say it was worse than going down to 10 men. Yet Robbo liked something about him and gave him a lot of chances. When Robbo was answering questions on this site I politely asked him what he saw in Darran that nobody else could, and he kinda admitted he got that one wrong. We released him later that season and he failed to hold down a place at Elgin, Albion, Alloa, or Cowdenbeath before dropping down to the juniors for a few seasons with Bonnyrigg. Interestingly Paul Sheerin brought him to Arbroath this season, where he has made 2 appearances. Edit to add : I see he is down as being a defender now, which is quite surprising - he was a lightweight left midfielder for us, and I don't recall him ever making a tackle or winning a header.

MERGED: Rooney Transfer ???
There's been a lot of noise from Hibs fans over the last few days that Rooney has been offered a PCA with them. I think Hibs tactic will be to get him signed up for the summer then approach ICT with a derisory offer to take him off our hands this month. Riordan and Nish will be leaving Hibs so you can see why they need a striker. No doubt Calderwood thinks Adam could do a good job, but I wouldn't bet on Calderwood still being manager next season.

MERGED: Rooney Transfer ???
I would like to think that as part of the Rooney deal, ICT are currently negotiating for a pre-season friendly against Inter. In the San Siro.

Dennis Wyness signs for Elgin City
This news is rather sad. But good luck to him. It will be his 6th club since May 2008 (ICT, St Mirren, QOS, Dumbarton, Peterhead, Elgin)

No change to league position
I'm resisting the temptation to suggest that Lennon should get the bullet.

MERGED: Rooney Transfer ???
It seems he wouldn't be allowed to sign fior Wolves but stay at Dundee, but I'm not sure if its because of SFL rules or Dundee's signing ban. But if Dundee need the transfer fee now and Wolves don't need the player until next season, perhaps they could buy and loan him to us?!

MERGED: Rooney Transfer ???
ICT deny any bid has been received There is, however, no denial that there has been an approach or some discussion with the Russian club.

Scottish Cup 5th round
I'll settle for that. Hardly a moneyspinner but a very good chance of progressing. Mind you, Morton/Airdrie are probably thinking exactly the same.

MERGED: Rooney Transfer ???
A quick trawl of fans forums reveals that: - QPR are be interested in him (Jamie Mackie has a broken leg), but - he will be signing for Falkirk which goes to show how reliable forums are.

Highland Derby
Bit like the way your business works!

MERGED: Rooney Transfer ???
If Rooney leaves we really will need to replace him with someone. His brother is a striker too, and available....
-
Ipswich's form
Paul Jewell gets the job.

Highland Derby
I've always understood the standard formula for cup ties is to announce 80% of the actual crowd, which would put it at 3,500.

MERGED: Rooney Transfer ???
I expect this will prompt a few other interested clubs to make their move.

ICT say "NO" to leagues of 10.
The vote has been dropped, or at least postponed. BBC

Well done Stevenage
Not a good day for the North East: Sunderland 1-2 Notts Co Burton Albion 2-1 Middlesborough You'd have got fantastic odds on that treble.

Elgin Preview & Report
And he's still bitter that the Duke of Cumberland owes him a double.

Scottish Cup
I admire the confidence of the Elgin fans posting on this thread........but clearly they have lost their marbles.

Ipswich's form
I think Ipswich will be aiming a lot higher than Butcher. People linked Terry with Preston, who then appointed Phil Brown, and Burnley, who are trying to get Paul Lambert. That's the calibre of manager he'd be up against if he was interested. There are plenty of managers around with better reputations in England, where both Terry & Mo have a track record of failure. So I don't think we should worry about losing them - on this particular occasion.

ICT say "NO" to leagues of 10.
Where have ICT actually said "No" to this proposal? They clearly have reservations, but all the statement says is that they'll consider it.
