    Fifth, actually! eg:

Think he has been without a club since Stenny released him in the summer. This descent into oblivion is surely the fastest thing he's done in his whole career.
  3. But on that basis you'd get a junior concession yerself!

A poor man's Alan Morgan then?!
  5. Very well taken first goal by Holmes. I think he actually scored a "perfect hat-trick", a very rare thing indeed. One right foot, one left foot, one header.

All quite plausible apart from the crucial "Butcher walks" bit. Won't happen.
  7. Bringing in an overpaid dud foreign striker, making a hash of his transfer, and creating a massive rift throughout the club that still reverberates.
  8. Bringing in an international class striker and selling him at a large profit.
  9. Perhaps we have no money because we are paying a relative fortune to a management team who are simply not delivering, and paying wages to the likes of Foran and Barrowman that the likes of QoS would be dreaming of if they weren't to busy trouncing us.
  10. Because of the term's close association with India, it is now considered racist and anyone using it will be banned for life and jailed for 10 years. Probably.
  11. The only hotels I can think of in Kirkcaldy are the Dean Park, the Dunnikier and that place where Marvin Andrews lived in for about 5 years. Anyway, I'll be there. (At the match that is, not lurking in your hotel room).

And if anyone can conveniently remember him throwing the word "gypsy" into his tirade, he'll be gone before the Raith game!

Has anyone actually reported Butcher's foul mouthed abuse of our fans to the club?
  14. Exactly. He won't quit though, his contract's far too lucrative and nobody else will take him. We're stuffed.
  15. I still think we can avoid relegation this season.
  16. Home form is a total disgrace. I seem to have been saying that for months.
  17. I'll revise my estimate. There will be at least 1,500 empty seats in our stand.
  18. Great achievement for him, and he's playing well. Earlier this year he was bottom of the league with us. Must be the first player to get a Scotland cap after playing for County? And the 2nd for ICT (Robson).
  19. There will be hundreds of empty seats in our stand.
  20. 3,400 will be more than enough for us.
  21. McGuire explains his decision and his plans in this article. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/8284032.stm
  22. The place that springs to mind is the Tulloch Institute (01738 621541) which is a bowling/social club about 5 minutes walk from the ground. It's a very obvious choice which makes me wonder if the Dees have got in there already!
  23. As mentioned, the 208 is near the ground but will be heaving. In 2003 quite a few of us went to the next nearest pub, but it closed down shortly afterwards and is now some sort of gospel centre. I was about to say there are no other pubs within walking distance of the ground, then remembered that there's one of those modern pub/restaurant /hotel places just over the A9 (next to Dobbies) called the Glover Arms but I've never been inside so can't comment. Plenty of parking and about a 10 minute walk. And Dobbies does a mean cheese scone.
  24. Travelodge has already been mentioned. But the other cheap place that springs to mind is, quite appropriately for yourself, the Isle of Skye Hotel.
