Technically yes, but most people vote for a party, regardless of whichever goon is standing locally. It's equally deceitful when an MP switches party allegiance after getting voted in. There should be an enforced by-election if that happens, and there should be another general election called if the winning party changes leader.

I do. The 2nd consecutive general election where we end up with a PM who wasn't the leader people voted for? Democratically scandalous.

A Scottish ref would have given a 2nd yellow for timewasting.

The ironic thing is that during her reign they had a reasonable number of seats in Scotland, and I recall that even in the early 90's they had 10 or 11 seats when Major won. Wiped out since then though, but as others have pointed out, our voting system does funny things when you consider the close share of vote here: SNP 20%, LD 19%, Con 17%.

As things currently stand we have no goalkeepers. Hopefully Esson will sign, along with someone who will have a chance of competing for his place.

Bulvitis, Lionel, Stratford, Eagle, Allison and Duff No surprises for me there. Shame for Duff that he got injured, he looked promising before that.

Craigie "0-0" Broon is the last manager on earth you'd expect to be involved in a result like this. Weren't Motherwell involved in something similar about10 years ago? I think they lost something like 6-5 at home to an Aberdeen side that hadn't been able to score goals for weeks.

Can 2010 get any better? I doubt it. The last few months have been unbelievably good for us. Let's enjoy it while it lasts!

IHE keeps the ashes from the Kingsmills stand in an urn on his mantlepiece. I've got a signed 1999 ball and 2003 shirt, but the one that made me smile the most was on my wedding day when someone arranged a card signed by the team, which I received shortly after finding out that we had just beaten Aberdeen in a pre-season friendly. We went on to get promoted that season.

Terry gave Nauris a chance there on Saturday, perhaps with options for next season in mind. I thought he was poor though.

Just seen the online highlights. What a great team goal that was, i hadn't realised at the time just how good it was. Perhaps a better keeper would have made it harder to score, but its definitely one of our best goals of the season.
