  1. Been a long time since we won 2 league games in a row, let alone 4.
  2. If Savage's financial backer was a wealthy Romanian looking to spend his latest windfall, would that be oriony?
  3. Could be a good move, given that Grimsby have been Hopeless for a long time.
  4. Is it Alex McLeod?
  5. I will be walking to the game. Sponsorship welcome!
  6. It's not too late! What if the club offers 50% and agrees not to appeal!
  7. It is indeed quite surprising that the parties didn't reach a compromise on this. One or both sides must have been certain that they were in the right, and would fare better by letting it go all the way.
  8. If the club appeal, I can recommend an appropriate firm of lawyers: Norfolk'n'Chance.
  9. I really don't know whose version of events to believe when it comes to the detail, but I am pretty sure, as I have said before, that all parties concerned were very happy for the move to take place.
  10. The lack of written transfer request does not mean that Marius didn't instigate the transfer. It just makes it hard for the club to prove its version of events. The comments made recently by Marius and Stevico all seem to centre on the lack of written evidence, rather than actually denying that Marius instigated the transfer.
  11. He's already achieved a lot - I was particularly impressed with his work in the X Files.
  12. sounds like Urziceni were taking the Urine.

Can you get hold of that airplane banner and ship it over here? When Barrowman leaves he could stick an "IC" before the "TFC" and hang it behind his private jet.

Not so handy when a goal goes in! I once missed a goal at the only Premiership game I've been to because of one of those things (but much, much smaller). Very impressive banner. Presumably this is the same Dichio who was a dud at Sunderland many years ago?
  15. This site needs a "pot...kettle" smiley!

I think Ross County once fielded brothers, half brothers, cousins, a father, son, step father and an uncle. And that was just the 2 forwards.

I was listening on the radio to a feature about the 4 Jacobs brothers, who all play for Livingston. Triplets plus one. Two of them have played together in the First team so far, but with limited resources at Livi, you can't rule out the other 2 being called upon as well, which would surely set some kind of record. I don't know their background, but when they were interviewed they all had an interesting South African/Irish/Scottish accent.
  18. Likewise, and I'm glad that Scotland had the foresight to boycott the tournament in protest.
  19. There's nothing wrong with seeding as such, but they need to make the rules at the start of qualifying, and stick to them. They shouldn't be able to just wait and see which teams are in the pot and then apply whichever method favours their preferred teams. On this occasion, France, Russia and Portugal seem to be the beneficiaries.
  20. FIFA look after the best teams, to ensure the highest possible TV audiences.
  21. I don't recall us being seriously linked with him, but plenty of people said he would be a good signing. Anyway, he went to Swansea, and it's hard to imagine we would have had a look in with competition like that. Works permits are mysterious things. I do recall that at the time he was refused one by the SPL, he was rarely getting a start for Dundee Utd at a time when they were near the bottom of the league. So if he wasn't good enough for a crap team, you can understand the decision. But then he got one no probs at all for St J.
  22. At half time today, most results were going our way and we were gaining ground. Sigh....
  23. Got me a few quid at the bookies, but I'd rather have had the win.
  24. Depends on whether you consider our objective to be promotion or avoiding relegation!
  25. If it stays 1-1 it'll be our best home result of the season!
