Hastings Gone & Golly Back
Happy to see the back of Hastings, but Golly? FFS! When we let him go all those years ago I think most fans agreed it was the right thing to do, he had become a shadow of the player who used to be so good. I can't imagine he's improved in the last few years.

Adam Rooney
There is precedent for a section of our support idolising mediocre players because of good chants, with the likes of Glancy and Deano.

FFS, we are 7th in the league! 1 point from 2 very winnable home games isn't good enough for a team with promotion aspirations.

Co-opie Cup Round 3
It does actually! They are made by Brownings, who make various pies, but the one called the "Killie Pie" is the same as the ones supplied to Rugby Park. Spar sell them, didn't know about Aldi.

Champions League Draw
:( Is it just my imagination or are there more mediocre teams than usual? Arsenal could field their reserves and still win all their group games.

Youngest player senior appearance
I'm not sure if the NoS Cup is really classed as senior, as far as stats are concerned. Don't know the answer to your question though, but wasn't Hastings very young when he made his debut? Or was that for Caledonian rather than ICT?

Zander Sutherland
I didn't think he'd drop as far as HL level.

New Season - New T-Shirts
As and when the player in question gets an injury, will the local papers have the balls to go with the back page headline "Cox out"?

C*unty Chants
You wouldn't actually chant "Insert score here"

How much will we have if and when we pay out the ?350k CaleyD referred to earlier for the Marius case? [Rhetorical question]

Unless Harkins has a release fee specified in his contract, which is a distinct possibility. If a top 6 SPL club were interested, he'd want out in a second, and his agent would surelt have thought of that when the contract was being negotiated.

Open All Mics
The fact that MFR were even mentioning the cricket was surely good enough reason to switch them off!

I think a lot of sources got the subs wrong because they used the team lines which had the subs numbers muddled up.

Getting back to the subs mystery, both Mike and myself seem to think it was: Ross for Eagles Rooney for Hayes Morisson for Proctor McBain and Allison were unsused subs. Any advance on that? Cox definitely got a yellow, wasn't it for taking Hart down near half way when they were breaking?

It was fairly belted towards their keeper from 50 yards or so, but I don't know if it was intended as an attempt on goal or a pass. Think it was Foran.

I thought Ross came on for Eagle, but might have mistaken him for Morrison. Hayes went to left wing at this point. Rooney then came on for hayes, I thought. Then Proctor went off after the clash of heads, and I didn't recognise the replacement but I'm sure it was a youngster.

The stadium announcer said Allison! It certainly wasn't Allison, Rooney, McBain or Ross, so by a process of elimination it must have been Morrison.

Cracking game of football, end to end stuff and both sides had plenty of chances to win it. But at the end I was very relieved to hear the whistle - their subs strengthened them whilst ours tended to weaken us. In the first half we were miles better than them and should have been ahead. Hayes, Foran and Sanchez were combining superbly up the right, with neat passing, dummies and great touches to carve them open repeatedly. second halh was different though, as the players tired. Sanchez little in the 2nd except miss our best chances of the game. Great performances by Munro, Foran, Hayes, Cox and Lionel. Hard to pick a MOM. Only negative was Eagle. Dundee were something of a one man team - Harkins is a helluva a player to have at this level though.

ICT Financial Accounts-YE 31/05/09
These accounts will include the money received for Marius, as well as the Euro 2008 money, but they will probably also include a provision for the legal cases going in his favour which will pretty much cancel out the transfer profit.
