  1. You can see from the bottom of that page that those broadcasts typically get 20 or 30 views, but our game last week drew a record 998!
  2. You can watch the action live! Greenock TV
  3. There have been plenty of County fans visiting the site in the last few days....
  4. I think the dismal performances in Europe in the last couple of seasons answer the question. I heard we are now about the 30th strongest league in terms of European results. The high point for Scotland was probably the years when Celtic were regularly beating the likes of Barcelona and Liverpool - and losing to ICT days later.
  5. How can you say that when they have the likes of Lafferty and Fortune?
  6. No.
  7. Businesses don't get a vote. Perhaps they should though.
  8. How many Highlanders are there in the County team?
  9. I can just see Jetpack Jocky touching down in the centre circle to present the trophy.
  10. That's the one. But its still a bit early to be getting cocky.
  11. Adam could certainly be described as punching above his weight.
  12. Aberdeen fans I know are keen on getting him, and his dad.
  13. As easy as ABC - Anybody But County.
  14. No seat has ever been decided by a single vote, so your vote and my vote have always been pointless. On principal though I'll keep on voting. I'm registered to vote by post, makes it so simple, and it gets me voting in mickey mouse council and european elections that I otherwise wouldn't bother with.

Never had you down as an antisocial yob who needs to be punished with more tax!
  16. I'm sure our resident psychologist would have a field day with this debate. On the one hand you have those who cope with the disappointment of County's success by denying its significance. On the other, you have those who cope with the trauma by creating some pseudo affiliation and bond with the enemy, and who clearly need counselling for this Stockholm Syndrome type of condiition.
  17. Do you not think the Raith end would be full of Dunfermline fans, wanting to "put Fife football on the map?"
  18. Your understanding is correct. Radio Scotland realised this after they told a load of County players they were already in Europe.
  19. Presumably the County lovers here will be transferring their support from Scotland to England this summer? If you are not supporting England, why not? It's the same logic. Your main team has no chance of glory, so you switch your allegiance to your neighbours, who share a closer cultural and geographical identity than the other participants.
  20. County in 2010 are a much bigger, wealthier, more established team than ICT were in 2000. We had just come up from Division 2 with a team and manager largely from the Highland League, rather thanthe SPL origins that form the base of County these days. County have been battling for promotion, ICT back then were happy to be steering clear of relegation. Perhaps the question has been answered by the media coverage. County's win is the backpage headline today, whereas ours was the front page, everywhere. I note that on the BBC news last night, yesterday's result wasn't even the main sports story. Celtic losing, and losing to lower league teams is par for the course these days, and a first division team reaching the cup final isn't a novelty any more after Gretna and Queens managed it in very recent years. County raised eyebrows across the land, but there are no shock waves.
  21. Rossco likes getting tattoos done because it tickles.
  22. Gabby (Gablonski?) is from Brisbane too.
  23. Although we did get one of our best results of the season today.
  24. I couldn't care less what County get up to except to the extent that it effects us, and I am astonished and disappointed that ICT fans can be in favour of something which is detrimental to our club. Cup success for County helps them in areas where we compete against them in a small local market - attracting new fans, attracting local business sponsorship, and attracting players. This cup run has earned county a fortune, and a win and European football would make them even richer. The "Highland football" fans might like to consider that even if we get promoted, County would be able to offer the likes of Foran, Hayes and Rooney higher wages than we can. So be careful what you wish for.
