  1. You are right about them being strict killjoys at Dens. In fact I've recognised some of the very same stewards as we have had at Tannadice.
  2. for what exactly?
  3. The fact you live in Crieff means there was no need to state the obvious in that respect. :P
  4. We seem to have plenty of options upfront. In alphabetical order : Barrowman Foran Odhiambo Rooney Sanchez Sutherland Once we are fully into the season, everyone is fit and clear of suspension, what will the pecking order of our strikers be? I would expect Foran to be first choice, but can't decide how to rank the others.
  5. Brewster v Hearts, after we lost our first 6 games of the season.
  6. No worries Georgios, tonight we are all lovers of Cox.
  7. I've just remembered something from about 10 years ago. Last time we entered Division 1, we kicked off the season with a 4-0 defeat at Dunfermline.
  8. Designed by Bruno?
  9. Scotty will be truly honoured to lose his wife to an ICT legend. :)
  10. I've no idea. Who has been demonstrating consistent good form this season? :) Ridiculous time to be having an important match.
  11. Not looking too good for Aberdeen at the moment, needing 7 goals in 7 minutes.
  12. I suppose this was inevitable, but it's sad all the same, especially for the staff affected. The service I received from them over the years was superb. Phone up for tickets and they would arrive in the post the next day, every time. It's probably the right decision though, it can't be viable to operate that sort of set-up any more. If things pick up it can always be brought back.
  13. This thread has nothing to do with captaincy any more and is degenerating rapidly. Closed.
  14. A team like Aberdeen spends the whole season getting excited about the possibility of qualifying for Europe. Only for it to be 90 minutes of humiliation and then its all over. Talk about anticlimax.
  15. I've only seen these two guys play at Brechin. Bulvitis looked a very solid defender and I'm delighted to get him on board. Sanchez looked far too casual and I wouldn't have signed him, but it was said that he wasn't fully fit that day so I'll wait and see.
  16. That Aberdeen result is a shocker.
  17. How many people spend all that money going to football matches to listen to music with great sound quality? Yes it might be part of the "package", but a miniscule part. I don't imagine we'd get any more fans at all if we spent thousands on an upgrade.
  18. Brilliant, I don't think I've heard heard that since I bought the single as a kid, must have been about 1982.
  19. We beat Golspie 5-0 this evening, with a team that included McBain, Hastings and Duncan (who missed a penalty). Hattrick for Daniel Parks. http://www.ictfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News...1737598,00.html
  20. Got my dancing shoes on, now where's their grave?
  21. Long journey for their fans, but I would imagine that most of the Stranraer players live in the central belt.
  22. You only joined the forum last season.
  23. Hitting the woodwork still counts as a miss! His 2 goals v Brechin probably do enough to dispel the theory though.

All the talk in recent weeks has been about players we are bringing in to rebuild the squad. But how likely is it that there might be some movement the other way? I'm pretty sure we have punted everyone Butcher wanted to punt, but you can't rule out the possibility that tempting bids will be received for one or two of our players before the transfer window shuts. We don't have many players who will be of serious interest to SPL clubs, but one that springs to mind is Imrie. He made a good impression on quite a few clubs last season, and I get the impression that after relegation he doesn't really want to be here any more and will have set his agent into overdrive. What chance Hamilton putting some of their riches in our direction?

In Butcher's post-match comments you can see that he never intended Ross to play the full 90, but other substitutions had to be made and thent here were none left.
