  1. He is a Scottish GK Who used to play for Gers and Dunfermline who is 6 ft according to Reidford's Dunfermline profile. That must be in his high heels. I would have expected him to be no more than 5'10", having seen him dwarfed by everyone around him in the box.
  2. This Reitford we had in goal didn't put a foot wrong, albeit didn't really have much to do. The concern is that he looks very, very small for a keeper.
  3. Thought he was older TBH. He'll have to progress an awful lot physically to have any sort of chance, he lacks strength, pace an tackling ability. But he did Ok for a 17 year old. The other youngsters did pretty well, especially Morrison.
  4. For the record, the formations posted by Caleymad are wrong, the one on the official site is (unsurprisingly) correct. Bit of a walk in the park in the second half, but it had taken a while to break them down. Bulvitis looked the part, won plenty of challenges. I'd sign him. Whilst Sanchez has a decent touch, he rarely threatened a poor Brechin side full of trialists. The concensus was that he is just too casual in his approach to do well for us, and shouldn't be signed. (The best Spaniard of the day was the barman from Zaragoza in the Caledonian Hotel. We initially went to the pub we used to go to in the old days, but it's now a funeral directors!) I wouldn't get too excited about Ross. He did fine and took his chances well when the ball broke loose to him in the box a couple of times, but (takes deep breath) I'm afraid he doesn't have what it takes to be a pro. You heard it here first. Oh, and Rory was pish. At least he was playing, having missed Brechin's friendly last week to go to T in the Park instead! Brechin also had Kevin Byers in right midfield, still with a decent bit of skill but no pace or strength, and journeyman Ian Harty huffed and puffed and caused a few problems, but Rory was never there to help out. Only ?6 to get in and the crowd was apprx 180. I counted them, twice.
  5. I am seriously looking forward to this!
  6. Well, it must be hard for him to go 45 minutes without eating so you've got to sympathise. He'd get booked if he left the field of play to go to the pie stall.
  7. I might be wrong but i think we beat a load of SPL sides that summer. We definitely beat Aberdeen, cos I remember it was my wedding day and I was trying to get someone to find the score.
  8. Not quite. They "settle" the debts in this kind of situation by paying the creditors about 2p for every ?1 they are owed. The club then starts afresh without any debt. Until the next time.....
  9. Yngwie replied to CaleyMad's topic in Caley Thistle
I quite like it, much better than our home top. There's something European about it, the kind of kit you'd see in a management simulator in a European qualifier against a team from Luxembourg.
  10. Whilst results don't matter in this kind of game, you'd still expect us to score more than 2, especially when it's 0-2 after 16 minutes.
  11. Both clubs combined, approx 8 + 3?
  12. Any difference must be in the way they are heated then.
  13. Very tenuous but Andy Dibble has family in Inverness (or used to, at the very least). Can't actually remember him being at Rangers though. was he Goram's understudy for a while?
  14. I have just woken up from a vivd dream in which we won our first game of the season 3-0, with the goals coming from Dutch, Romanian and African new signings. You heard it here first. B)
  15. Spar stores do sell the proper Killie pies.
  16. I think what you're saying is he was a central defender but always caught out of position :finger03:
  17. You never cease to amaze me.
  18. Those socks are just far too pink.
  19. Cheaper than I was expecting :clapping03:
  20. And most of those were angry creditors.
  21. Brew got him in on loan on summer deadline day then signed permanently in January IIRC.
  22. I'm full of admiration for the great job Massoni has done at Livi. The rapport he has built up with the fans just caps it all off nicely.
  23. Glad to hear he's away, but I imagine this has cost us a lump sum pay-off.
  24. Now that I can understand. Thought you'd totally lost it!
