Ex Ict Players At Matches
Paul Ritchie and Bobby Mann at Dunfermline, in a midweek game where we were diabolical and 2-0 down late on but somehow got the most underserved point I can remember.

Brewster Offered Assistant Managers Job
I think he could be a pretty good assistant manager if he sticks to what he's good at and lets the manager do the team selections, tactics and motivation etc.

Matchday Thread: Motherwell -v- I.c.t.
Sounds like a good performance and a good result (against a team that had beaten us 6 times in a row I think) but somehow we end up closer to relagation.

Just so long as we don't go into the last game needing something against Falkirk, pleeeease. I hate the idea of their fans invading our pitch at the end and spreading their swine flu.

Mark Mcculloch
Anyone who scored important goals for ICT, captained us on Feb 8th 2000, and then goes on to arrest Fifers gets a big from me.

Pitch Invasion 9
I can provide a scarifier, but I'll need someone to bring a very long extension cable. Billy Reid was complaining the other day about our poor pitch, is it really that bad?

Hypothetical Manager's Dilemma
We have 2 decent, fully fit keepers, but Fraser is in possession of the keeper's jersey and there is nothing to suggest he will lose his place for the game against his future employers. But would it be any different if Motherwell were down at the bottom in the relegation dogfight? One mistake by Fraser could ensure that he plays SPL football next season and becomes an established SPL keeper for years to come. On the other hand, with a flawless performance could condemn himself to a career in the SFL. In that scenario, would you play him if you were manager?

That was a terrible, terrible pass. But apart from that, Lionel wasn't much worse than half a dozen other ICT players. :023: At least he was always in the game, and most of our attacks started with him bringing the ball out of defence.

Me too. Did the bounce send it away from goal?

Conserving Energy
I don't think the preservation of fossil fuels should be a priority at the moment.

I think the goal we conceded might have been a Foran OG, based on TV. Canning won the header against Tokely who was rising like yeast - although it didn't help that Canning was using him for leverage. The header was going harmlessly to Blackie's feet at the far post, but Foran was running towards goal, tried to intervene and seemed to bundle it in.

I thought Imrie was very poor today.

Mikey Fraser In Europe?
Scotland have been awarded a Fair Play place in the qualifying stage of next season's Europa league, and Motherwell are currently the team with the best discipline. So there's a good chance that Fraser will be joining Blackie by playing European football next season, which is an unexpected bonus for him. I wonder if for the remainder of the season, Motherwell players will be inclined not to go in for as many 50/50 balls for fear of getting cards that may hand the European place over to another team? (St Mirren are next in line, followed by Hibs).

- Norwich City, And Football's Situation
I went to a Norwich away game round about 1994 when they were top of the Premiership (Bryan Gunn was in goals then). Their fans were brilliant from start to finish that day too, very vocal and humorous with it. I missed a goal though cos I was underneath one of their huge flags.- Esson
Probably worth more on the open market than Esson. It's 10 years since they stopped making Cremola, making each remaining tub as precious as diamonds (and by now, just as solid).- Matchday Thread: St Mirren -v- Ict
Just one yellow since Butcher took over, I think. TB praised him yesterday, saying that that on his arrival he had commented that that if the team pick up more points than Rossco does, we'll be fine!- Matchday Thread: St Mirren -v- Ict
St Mirren fans will say Rossco cynically and deliberately ended Kerr's career and then danced on his grave. It happened about 10 years ago in what was possibly Rossco's 1st or 2nd game in Div 1, which I think we lost 3-2 at Love St. Kerr was on the wing trying to pass Tokely, who stuck a leg out and caught his knee. Rossco got a red, and Kerr was out injured for the best part of a year IIRC. Kerr came back and kept playing for years, but supposedly wasn't as good as before. So while he eventually disappeared into the wilderness, Rossco went on to become Superman.- Brewster Signs For Ross County
With one game to go, County could either get relegated or end up as high as 3rd place. What a league, I'm glad we're not in it.- Matchday Thread: St Mirren -v- Ict
