According to Billy Dodds (who is a QotS coach) on Radio Scotland about an hour ago: - Malpas told him yesterday that there was no chance the game would be on. - a local ref did a 9.30am pitch inspection but refused to make a decision, leaving it to the match ref later. This totally contradicts what others are saying, but is perhaps explained by the fact that Dodds talks more ****e than pretty much anyone in Scottish football.

Only one of our home games is on a Saturday. Always much more of an occassion on Saturdays and we seem to play better.

He was actually first team top scorer last season, with 6 goals. Which must make our lowest scoring top scorer ever, if you see what I mean.

Glanced at the front pages of the papers ina shop today. One headline pointed out that we pay tens of thousands of wealthy ex-pats a winter fuel allowance whilst they are sunning themselves on the Costa del Sol etc, while another paper had the story of a single mum who gets ?100,000 a year from us to live in a ?2m house. It might be a bit of Daily Mail style sensationalism, but there are very valid questions to be asked about the massive waste in the whole benefits system, and as a taxpayer I wish there was more targetting and scrutiny of claimants. -
It started out that way back in the early 90's. But UEFA's favoured nations didn't do at all well in the first few seasons, so they were given more places to improve their chances.

The ball may well have hit Rooney's hand or arm, but that doesn't necessarily make it a foul. Was it intentional? When the ball was blasted at him could he have got his hands out of the way? I'm sure somebody with refereeing knowledge can clarify the rules on this.

None of it holds much appeal for me. Too many of the events are against the clock. Would be much better if the skiing, luge etc were multi-competitor races.

Take Mick's advice Smee, even though you've acted in good faith you'll lose this fight. Ebay simply will not allow sellers to use caveat empor and get out clauses to cover (potential) misrepresentation, the place would be overrrun with total conmen and would collapse. The buyer's offer to bear the cost of the postage seems pretty fair and reasonable.

I'm sure they'll be rushing to make the highlights available for Raith fans desperate to see the goals again! Students from their local college produced highlights last time and hopefully they will do again. Unless any of them asked questions about their club's finances.

How was Sanchez today? The reason I ask is that anyone looking at the match stats might think his arrival turned the game. 0-0 after 66 minutes. Then Sanchez on for Odhiambo. 0-1 a minute later, then another, and another etc

Incredible collapse. Normally at this level of rugby it takes about 10 minutes to move possession from one end of the pitch to the other. Conceding 17 points in the last 4 minutes? Gutting.
