  1. What happens on the pitch doesn't really matter, the lack of pies will be the talking point for the next few days!
  2. Will this be before or after Dean MacDonald signs for them?!
  3. I looked up the airport one and got Brazil!

    Quick question

Nah, just recently onto my 2nd since then (the motherboard died). I just transfer over all the documents each time.
  5. Under the SPL rules, Pittodrie was ICT's designated home ground for that season. So even if we'd built our own Emirates Stadium and had it ready for the first game of the season or any time after, we wouldn't have been allowed to use it. What the club did was get the SPL to change those rules, and THEN built a compliant stadium that they were allowed to use after we'd played each club once at Pittodrie.
  6. Spot on Flyboy, and the 10,000 seats had to be in place by 31 March, long before we knew if we would overtake Clyde. The Boards handling of the promotion/stadium affair was superb and showed initiative, bravery and good judgement. (What's happened since then? )

Aye that's who I meant, just got a bit confused!

Ian "Spider" Stewart, who I think went to Peterhead at the end of that season. He had big hair.

    Quick question

I found the Clyde match report on my PC! It was indeed the same week the gulf war started. Check out the final sentence of the report :(
  11. Some interesting questions there, I just wish I knew more of the answers! I'm not sure that Carl and the Passions actually changed their name to what I think you have in mind, I think it was just the name of a band that one of the members started out in. But it was before my time!

    Quick question

True, but after that and before Celtic we had a midweek game at Clyde, which was 4-1. Was this also the week that the invasion of Iraq started? I remember writing a match report for this site which referred to "shock and awe" as we went 3-0 down in the opening minutes, then got a great goal back from "Basra" Robson. We were awful that night and it was incredible that we could even compete with Celtic a few days later. Here's the team from Clyde. What a fantastic team we had back in those days, particularly as nearly all these players were in their prime. Inverness CT: Brown ,McCaffrey (Ritchie ,63 ) ,Mann ,Munro ,Golabek ,Tokely ,Hart (Stewart ,83 ) ,McBain ,Robson ,Wyness ,Hislop Subs not used Bagan,Fraser,
  13. There could be occassions where criminals make their getaway on a sledge, so training in this area is vital!
  14. That is correct, they didn't actually submit team line up which was duly signed by a club official as is required. A minor technicality, perhaps, but part of an overall shambles or disregard for the rules. Interestingly when the teams were announced on Radio Scotland, Pars fans emailed and texted in pointing out that the player was suspended. Did none of them contact the club? Out of interest, what should the BBC or journalists do if they know prior to kick off the club have made such an error? Step in and help the club, or just let nature take its course like a wildlife film crew who watch baby animals getting eaten alive?
  15. Dunfermline have defended their decision to put Buffy in charge of administration. The team lines are in beautiful pink.
  16. The answer myself and Kev gave wase surely right too - Aberdeen players who scored in their away game against ICT which was played at Pittodrie. Or is your trivia book 30 years old?!
  17. Keegan? And I'm pretty sure I've got the trickiest of the other two!
  18. Thanks, you've saved me typing up the answers! Wee mistake on 14. though, its Angola.
  19. Jim Bett, Markus Put a line on, and Steve Paterson.
  20. Here you go, sir. :thumb03: Please don't come back.
  21. Both correct. My rock band would be Lions of Teranga, a West African equivalent to Kings of Leon.
  22. Aye, The Cranes are Uganda, Dan Wagaluka played for us v Liverpool.
  23. Not what I had in mind, but a good answer all the same! Clue - there was once a crane on the TCS pitch......
  24. A quick bit of googling indicates that Berwick have actually had around 25 Scottish managers since the 1950s, and no doubt many more before then. However, I suspect the question was intended to cover clubs playing in the English leagues and I'd be interested to know the answer.
  25. Hadn't thought of that one! They are all national teams though, not clubs.
