New Manager Odds (merged)
We have enough foreigners in the team without putting one in the dugout Butcher's not a bad choice actually, as SPL experience is probably something we need to get us out of this.

Trialists (merged)
"Sources in Scotland last night indicated that the possible signing by Caley of the 33-year-old Gordie, was unlikely to proceed." Gordie? From Sneck?

To interview candidates?! Nothing exciting from me, was just at work and looked onto this site.

Where were you?
It was one of those JFK moments. Where were you when you heard the news that Brewster had been sacked?

Pre contract agreements, question.
He could, though, breach his side of the contract and has his registration is still held by ICT he would never actually become a Hearts player. It would however leave him exposed to paying an awful lot of compensation for the breach of contract. will never happen.

Chick Young's thoughts
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/chickyoung/2009...ball_was_a.html I can't really work out what his point is. The man's just rambling.

Hamilton sign Deuchar
According to Radio Scotland he has signed until the end of the season. Were we interested? Should we have been?

Thanks Brew
Good post Starchief, I fully agree.

BREWSTER SACKED
It's his 3rd job as an SPL manager! Too tactically inept, I think.

Trust Statement -
For the ICT board to not even acknowledge a request from one of its biggest shareholders is arrogance beyond belief.

And how many of them are friends of Brew/Grassa?

January 18th
In each of the last 3 previous seasons, the team that was bottom of the SPL on January 18th was the team that ended up getting relegated. Just to cheer everyone up.

Mark Brown
In the (few) games he has had at celtic, he has indeed looked a shadow of his former self, the worst keeper in the SPL in fact. He has it in him somewhere to get back to what he was if he moves sooner rather than later and gets first team football again.

Munro as Captain
Sadly Munro looks a very ineffective captain to me.

black?
Perhaps his commitment to the cause is questionable. He'll be playing SPL next season whatever happens, the other guys won't. His half-time warm up comprised standing around, and trying to hit the crossbar - a really useful skill for a footballer to develop It was quite funny though when 4 guys at the back of the stand were chanting that he's a w****r, a jambo b*****d etc, and he was just staring them out for ages.

Hamilton -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
Cold and wet. They did as well as anybody.

Hamilton -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
Probably 500+ fans. The arguments between fans referred to earlier was because some took issue to ant-Brew chants and wanted people to support the team. Late on in the game, when it was clear that we could have played all week and not got near their goal, the chants became fairly constant from the back of the stand. I never heard anything racist or inappropriate. EDIT - re post below, yeah fair enough, forgot about that. Barrenman was poor and we were all happy to see him hooked at half time. However, Wood and later Rooney were totally anonymous, so he was perhaps our least bad striker.

Trialists (merged)
Was never a trialist, just an internet rumour!
