  1. Scott Wilson? Kevin James?!
  2. From the BBC text commentary, it looks like Golly's a one-man team! 1:59 Cross by Stuart Golabek (Livingston), resulting in open play. 1:16 Defending throw-in by Lee Naylor (Celtic). 1:04 Cross by Stuart Golabek (Livingston), clearance by Stephen McManus (Celtic). 0:45 Attacking throw-in by Stuart Golabek (Livingston).

I thought about it! Brown also said that he was up in Inverness recently and thinks that we've got a really nice ground. Mind you, when you're used to sitting in the old stand at Stark's Park.......
  4. We might never get a better chance than this. There's only one team there that we should be really afraid of - and imagine if Hibs could take them at Easter Road in the QF.

:020: Mee, see the "ICT v DU or Scotland v England" thread if you want that to make any sense. Hissy has a new fan - and a knighthood is surely just a matter of time!

He tried hard not to! A few minutes after missing an open goal, he got the ball 2 yards out and took about a minute to force it in (if it did actually cross the line that is - nobody is sure if/how it actually went in).

Was there as part of a corporate thing, and ended up sat with Chancellor Gordon Brown and Jim Traynor! Brown's a thoroughly decent chap and a genuine fan, very knowledgeable about his team and their players. When Hislop came on I offered my opinion that he tries hard but is an awkward player who doesn't score many goals and whose career is on the slide. Brown says "He'll fit in well round here then" :015:

Raith Rovers v Alloa Long story!
  9. They've just signed Malik Rezgane from Triestina. I know absolutely nothing about him, but is he an ICT start of the future? :004:

Jarvie got a run in Utd's first team 2 or 3 seasons ago, and his handling errors cost them at least 1 goal every single game. The worst keeper ever to play in the SPL.

    But the Dons released him!

I have said several times this season that Rory is just rubbish, and destined for the Highland League. He had a great game yesterday and deserves all the praise he's getting. But I'm afraid I still don't see him making the grade. As others have said, no pace, no strength, falls down when anyone goes near him, hopeless in the air, no stamina. Those weaknesses are nothing to worry about in a 17 year old, but a 20 year old? Good luck to him though, I really hope he has turned the corner.
  13. Like Charlie, I was "gatted" with that result. Great second half performance. But for a couple of uncharacteristic defensive blunders we would have won. It was there for the taking.
  14. Based on some of the quotes from the club in the last day or so, I expect Cowie will actually be joining us in this window.

Really?!!!! :010: I thought we'd be going for someone with a lot more experience, unless he is being brought in as 3rd choice and Smith is being released. I seem to recall that when we let Ridgers go to Clach we had an option to buy him back for a small fee.
  16. I'm certain Dods will keep his place when we play Utd, and will give 100% for us as usual. I can't believe people are suggesting otherwise.
  17. The good news is there's been no suggestion of him leaving this month. I would guess that Utd must have asked the question, but got a very firm "no".

  19. Sounds like we played well and it was certainly a great result. However, let's not forget that Hibs were tired after a cup tie on Thursday and fielded a weakened side as a result.
  20. Sunday Times says that Dargo has rejected our final offer.
  21. There are reasons why the Utd fans refer to him as Dangerous Dave McCracken.
  22. Often when a player hands in a transfer request, he already knows exactly where he is going to end up and how much he is going to get paid.
  23. May I respectfully request all users of this site to avoid suggesting that we make a move for him as a replacement for Dods. One man's ICT legend is another man's unfit mediocre first division side reject.
  24. Just struck me that in the last 6 months Celtic have signed 3 former Rangers players (Miller, Pressley and Brown), whilst the Celtic coach McDowell has gone straight to Rangers. Celtic also bid this week for Lafferty despite him saying publicly that he is a Rangers fan. My point is that there has been no real issue raised in the press or with the fans (as far as I am aware) about signing these "Huns" or "Tims". I'm pretty sure that just a few years ago there would have been a real fuss. Is this progress?
