Sadly Munro looks a very ineffective captain to me.

Late on in the game, when it was clear that we could have played all week and not got near their goal, the chants became fairly constant from the back of the stand. I never heard anything racist or inappropriate. EDIT - re post below, yeah fair enough, forgot about that. Barrenman was poor and we were all happy to see him hooked at half time. However, Wood and later Rooney were totally anonymous, so he was perhaps our least bad striker.

Goals against in last 5 league games: 3-2-3-3-3, meaning the new striker needs to score a hattrick every time. He'd better be good.

At this moment in time, avoiding relegation and then having to rebuild in the summer seems a perfectly acceptable scenario to me!

I would imagine that none of the new players would be keen on playing in Div 1, so didn't want to commit beyong the end of the season. Likewise, we shouldn't be committing to pay SPL wages for any longer than we are in the SPL. Also, all 4 players were fairly risky signings with little proven SPL quality track record. Despite a promising start they could still turn out to be duds.
