Our Worst Ever Player
I didn't see any of our first few seasons, but based on the last 10, candidates are : Andrew Allan Wayne Addicoat Rory McAllister But my overall prize for the worst player goes to one who racked up a baffling number of appearances......Darran Thompson. Whenever he was on the pitch, it was worse than going down to 10 men.

Zander & Rory miss out on U20 squad
That'll help Rory's confidence :007:

Scottish Cup reforms
Changes implemented for the coming season : - all 36 teams that current take part in the Qualifying Cups will go straight into the first round - 4 Junior teams will also go into the first round - Semi-finals to be decided on the day, no replays. Very refreshing changes from the SFA. A great opportunity for the non-league teams, and some welcome variety for everyone else. And good news for shinguard manufacturers?

Golly To Gypo Land
Very predictable, and a good move for all concerned. We shouldn't let his (lack of) contribution over the last 2 seasons overshadow what an excellent player he was for us in the previous few. Thanks, and all the best. :clapping03:

Wyness
Denzil has tended to perform poorly when the expectations of him have been high and the pressure was on - when he first joined us from Aberdeen, when he went to Hearts, and when he returned to us. When our expectations have dropped, he usually surprises us with a rich streak of form. So in that respect, I can see where he's coming from.

Jason Scotland signs for....
So Scotland will be playing Wales while Wales is playing in Scotland?

ICT on YouTube
Very enjoyable. Rankin's v Rangers has to be the best.

Or home and away form
It's quite remarkable how our home and away form have completely changed in the space of a season, and it can only come down to changes in tactics and approach by Charlie. Only St Mirren have worse away form, but home form is now very respectable. If we can't win all our games, winning the home ones is more important - it keeps the home fans happy and is good for attendances.

Arabs v Barca
It is their senior squad. They are having their pre-season training camp at St Andrews and wanted some local opposition to play. I suppose it's just the same as our boys going to Italy and thrashing the nearest bunch of amateurs.

Bayne and Munro
Not as much as Barry! But well done to them both. It's always interesting to see who the players choose, and I suppose they are showing their appreciation of Bayne's tremendous work rate.

Rory
A goal is a goal indeed, and I'm delighted that it somehow went in. But in my book good play deserves praise, good fortune does not.

For what? Getting a lucky deflection?

Mcswegan (and others) released
There's no harm in having serious competition for the starting place. I think Mike has done fine overall, but looks badly positioned for Falkirk's goal on Saturday.

Where in the world am I???
Never seen the pic before, and never been to Guildford :016:

Gretna
Groundsharing is an inconvenient and expensive business, but has been a necessary evil for clubs wishing to take the next step forward : Celtic, ICT and Falkirk. On the other hand, there's Clydebank. :024:

Goodbye Golly
Good strike - presumably the "you fat b4stard" chants are aimed at Golly? After returning from injury he was half the player he used to be, yet he was also double the player he had been.

Who's going doon
The Paisley carthorses were a very poor footballing side tonight. Strategy comprised hoofing it high up the park, and taking it in turns to foul Hamill. Give me Dunfermline any day.

Baynie makes the ton
It's an old gag used for players who fall to pieces in the box!

County 1-0 UP
May I suggest that this is the only time the First Division trophy will be seen at Victoria park :003:

DUFC V ICT - matchday thread
I'm reluctant to draw attention to a personal matter, but from a footballing point of view it is perhaps worth pointing out that Donald Park was in charge of the team today. Charlie did not travel due the death of a close family member.

County 1-0 UP
Presumably they will go part time now.

DUFC V ICT - matchday thread
Just back from game. Lucky to be just 1 down at HT. Despite our 4-5-1 we had little presence in midfield, and Bayne was always isolated upfront. Much better performance in second half - Hart and Pattie pushing forward more to support attacks. Deserved equaliser - free kick whipped in by Hart, powerfully headed down and in by Bayne. We looked the more likely to grab a winner, but a point was satisfactory in a game where both sides missed their playmakers. Poor support for both sides, very much an end of season game. Hart's constant driving forward with the ball was good but his final pass or cross always ended up as a goal kick. Caff did fine at RB, better than when I've seen him there before. Dods and Munro solid as ever. Fraser had a couple of let offs in the first half when Utd heads beat him to balls that he came for, but also made a couple of good saves. Black looked good for the last 10 mins. BTW I've watched McCracken a few times since he was told he's being released this summer, and once again he looked a very solid SPL defender who might be a useful addition to our squad.

United Roll Call
Dilemma : been offered free use of a season ticket next to wife in East Stand, or pay £21 to be with ICt fans? :024:
