    Most entertaining 0-0 we’ve been involved in for a long time. Incredible that we somehow kept a clean sheet, in contrast to some recent games when we were losing to teams who only created one or two decent chances.

    Raith look so much better than us. 2nd top v 2nd bottom looks a fair reflection of the teams so far.

    I’m just contemplating the scenario where the Irn Bru cup final against Raith takes place after he has joined them. Can we appeal against him being cleared of diving?

    She’s a consummate politician and performer, so that was always going to be the case. But does anyone think she told the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth? She clearly didn’t. Forgetful? No chance. She is impeccable with detail.....when it suits. Oh what a tangled web we weave. In answer to your last question, given that the pro-SNP/Indy majority on the committee had previously blocked evidence against the SG and the only challenging questions seemed to come from the opposition representatives, the eventual outcome will probably be critical enough to not be seen as a sham, but not critical enough to be fatal. Personally, I think the gross failings on this affair by the SG, for which Sturgeon is ultimately responsible, are enough to be a resigning matter even before you get into the realms of breaches of the ministerial code and any possible conspiracy by her inner circle to destroy Salmond.

    Indeed. In one afternoon he landed far more blows on the SNP Scottish Government than the inept opposition parties and Scottish media have done in 14 years!

    She’s got enough support to survive, regardless of how damning the case against her is. I would expect her to announce that she will “reflect” on the criticisms that the committee will make, some of the players will be sacrificed to protect the queen bee, and instead of resigning she will stress the importance of her continuing to save us from the pandemic and then leave it to the electorate to decide in May if they want her to continue or not, safe in the knowledge of another victory, and then it’ll all be forgotten.

    I wouldn’t call us a tinpot dictatorship, just a tinpot democracy! It’s an unfortunate consequence of having a dominant party in power for the long term, who can do pretty much anything and still get re-elected. The way the machinery of the Scottish Government appears to have been deployed to block evidence, interfere with justice, prevent scrutiny, defy the will of the parliament and so on is scandalous, even before you consider the FM’s role or otherwise in all this. And it wasn’t a Unionist who was making those points today.

    Lack of leadership on the pitch, unfortunately. It’s not just about captaincy, there was a time when you could have said we had leaders all over the pitch.

    I’m not sure your final statement is valid. Working (indirectly) for Putin may have caused some embarrassment and raised eyebrows in political circles but I don’t think that many voters either know or care. In contrast, everyone knows about the trial for sex crimes, and that public humiliation damaged him immensely and destroyed his reputation. Certainly my respect for him as a politician and a human being dropped considerably during that trial, despite him being cleared, and rightly or wrongly I think that is a common view.

    BBC app live reporting said it was Brad who scored (whilst not on the pitch. That would’ve been worth seeing. ) They’ve just corrected it.

    The rarity of Saturday fixtures is something we have in common with the UK’s top sides.

    You can always turn the sound off. I kept it on, but in the second half it was getting tempting to turn the picture off. It’s very rare that I shout at a screen but tonight I did, it was so frustrating to watch that pish.

    If Robbo had any sense he would be training the youth teams to copy his signature and get a wee production line going.
