Living in Glasgow ive certainly been to more away games than home. Probably a ratio of about 6:1 at least.

Club could easily make its money back hiring the pitch out for community use in the evening and whatever day the pitch isn't getting used at the weekend. The west stand could have a storage section to store the 7-a-side goals that local youth teams would be using.

If I was to pick 6/7 to add to the current guys already signed would go for Gary Irvine (good back up to raven and shinne) Barry Douglas (young energetic and would work well with shinnie) Darren Barr (all round cover in defence and if draps and jones injured) Steven Saunders (got bad injury at Motherwell but is decent when fully fit, would compete with warren and meekings) Steffens Wohlfarth (back up to McKay, squad player) Graham Carey (just incase doran doesn't sign up) And a goalkeeper although dont know which one I would pick.

What gain did the person who threw it have? If anything they disrupted not only hearts but also "their" team (using brackets as they clearly don't care about the club). You could see the players getting agitated at coming out and having to wait 5mins to get started. Really hope the person gets caught and isn't allowed back to an ICT game as they are tarring our brilliant support with a bad name. All for creating atmosphere but throwing flares, what is the point???

think there was 3 bookings in the end. i know i got for the 1st one and then a gypsy got one for hacking down ross then that gypsey got halfed in the middle of the park.

one of the guys in my work is a cat 1 ref, albeit just turned cat 1. it is just the SPL refs that get this, div 1 get less, div 2 even less and div 3 even less. remember without refs we have no game. remember we nearly lost a week of the season because the abuse from players/managers/clubs got to the point where it was ridiculous. i dont envy the referees, how many of us would actually want to be in the middle with 22 players doing anything to win but also berating every decision you make just about. how many of us can handle the pressure. ive always thought i would like to give it a go just to see how hard it is. yes sometimes the performances have been substandard but everyone is human, everyone makes mistakes. im sure each one of us makes mistakes at work but have yearly increments in salary or hourly rate so we cant knock the refs for taking a pay increase. yes they are not at the level of their english counterparts where they are full time but having spoke to a few they have regular training sessions, rules tests, fitness tests. they watch through dvds of their performances, teams they are going to be refing so they can see formations. without refs we have no game and without a game we have no ICT!
