  1. I can't imagine Horner commanding a massive wage but as said above we already have a fair bit of depth in midfield with Draper and Foran due back in due course. I would personally far rather Liam Polworth getting a shot in centre mid but Horner was pretty impressive today to be fair. I don't think Horner can play in the development league cause he's over 20 unless he was one of the limited ones that is over 20 but I don't see the point in that either.
  2. I thought today was a good test for the lads cause it's a bit of a step up from the likes of Elgin and Clach etc. One thing I thought we did well with today was our passing and I have to praise the lads for using the widths of the pitch a bit more than we were back in April when we were ridiculously narrow. I do agree about the points raised about the possession retention, one bad pass and it's quickly a dangerous situation if we are passing it about too much in our own half. I really think we need a few signings and mostly a new striker - am not overly convinced Marley Watkins is the answer. I would have liked to see Danny Williams on the wings today but he does do a decent job in midfield to be fair. I didn't think Fleetwood were up to much today to be honest but a not bad wee side in truth and wish them all the best for their season ahead. The trialist today was Lewis Horner.
  3. I thought the top looked decent today on the players. Most definitely better than last years kit.
  4. Dillion would be about 250-300k probably What I meant by swap deal plus cash is that United give us cash plus a player for Shinnie meaning we don't need to spend and get a new player. I wouldn't want Dillion to be honest, considering if we did in fact get money off United then I am sure Yogi could find a better defender than Dillon. I was thinking along the lines of a striker which we desperately need. All in all, I think it would be a great move for Graeme considering all the media hype that surrounds United. Thankfully we have Tremarco and now Ryan Baptie should Shinnie leave.
  5. Don't forget they got £3M off of Sporting Lisbon for Gauld. I wouldn't sell Shinnie for anything under £1M considering the two deals they completed. I was going suggest a swap deal plus cash but I don't know who we would get.
  6. He looked a lot like Alan Gow to me. Certainly not a youngster but he did play about 70 mins so would Gow's injury allow him to have done that. Gow isn't a central midfielder His natural role is the 'Andy Shinnie role' And who said that Nobody, just that he plays there usually or up front from his early days. So he could have played central mid last night.

  8. Full kit on club Instagram. http://Instagram.com/p/q02bkZMa6M/
  9. I quite like the new home top also. It's a nicer blue and the red stripes down the middle works, as has already been said very PSG- esque. Goalie top looks great too!
  10. Only one trialist was mentioned on the reporters team lines that I seen on twitter. Subs were Brill, Williams, Ross, Mckay, Brown, Hill, Hoban
  11. Alan Gow maybe? I'm not entirely sure. Ross Draper wasn't in the squad tonight.
  12. Our team was: Esson, Raven, Warren, Meekings, Shinnie, Polworth, Trialist, Vincent, Doran, Christie, Watkins
  13. First goal was an own goal from a trialist for Deveronvale. Ryan Christie got the second but can't find the third goal.
  14. Or you could dress up like a pint! CD Lugo (Same division as above team I think)
  15. Killie third kit template. I have spotted we have the same training tops as them but our colours.
  16. If it's not stripes then I am hoping for this template: http://www.canaries.co.uk/news/article/20140623-2014-15-kit-launch-1661276.aspx
  17. Interestingly enough Ross Perry has today signed for Raith and is playing agaisnt us.
  18. If Gow can make himself fit enough for the Premiership and not command a high wage then I wouldn't see a problem bringing him in as a back up but in all honesty I think we can do better.
  19. Just noticed in the Highland news that we have Alan Gow (ex Falkirk) training with us but says the chances of us signing him are slim. I reckon he would be a good signing for us probably back in 06' but I haven't heard of him much these days.
  20. I watched Ross Perry last march vs our U20. He only played 45 mins because I think he had just come back from a lengthy injury spell but he had a reasonable game. If it was up to me though I wouldn't blow the budget for him although he has good potential, he wouldn't be guaranteed first team games. Following from Yogi's article in the courier today, it's pretty much quality over quantity which I fully agree with. Should we get another player it should be a player that can challenge the current 11 and not sit and warm the bench. I am sure that Yogi will have his contacts and hopefully we can attain a quality striker.
  21. It's been on the tops during pre season but it doesn't look that bad IMO. It looks good on the away top not sure how it's gonna work with the blue and red though Looked fine last Saturday and we were using last season's home top.
