  1. Bit dull 1st half, more enjoyable 2nd, good 3pts, even someone got close on 'Shoot for Boot' Happy Days
  2. Very young team, poor 1st half but put on a better show in 2nd half. Devine & Horner best of bunch
  3. Well deserved good on ya
  4. Great result today by the lads, everyone a hero
  5. Well it's going to be long season if that performance is to go by. Pretty passing yes I agree but I'm sure the idea is to go forward and not sideways or backwards most of the time and ultimately put the wee round thing in the back o the net. There was an improvement when we got Watkins on and yes we did have a few chances, but tippy tappy nae for me.
  6. Cracking day for a game of fitba. Passing was good, at times and Dave got some good crosses in the box. Crying out for assistance for Billy though. Christie shone and is an intelligent player who can see a pass and broke forward when he could. Thought Williams played well for the first half and Tansey knocked it around well too, although his tendency to play the killer ball more often than not doesn't come off. Its still ''friendly' time so not going to be to concerned, would still like to see at least 2 fresh faces even if on loan to keep things interesting.

Good bit of business by the club

    Elena Baltacha

Very sad news, thoughts are with her family
  9. Thought there was some good football played by us in the first half but if you don't get that second goal the inevitable will happen. Good display by Christie and after last performance against Ute I'll take the point although I think we could have had all 3. Those guys at half time were awesome, yep I was one o the golden oldies, made our day even at our age and stature!!!!!

Good wee game, Evans took his goal well as did Cooper. Some nice touches here and there, agree with most of the previous post regarding who stays & who goes. Being last game not the best one to make final judgements, seen quite a lot of U20's this season and great to see the youngsters have a good season overall.
  11. Thought it was a decent game and we should of shaded it. Agree with comments about Vincent his touch was not there for most of game, straight away when Christie came on he was much more positive and has great vision. A few decent chances were squandered but seems to be an improvement in work ethic and defending was strong also.
  12. Team selection was positive in the selection of Christie & Polworth, more than happy to see these guys get game time. The defence is worrying though, the pressure is telling every time we get a pass back now you feel the worst. Along with the St Mirren 2nd goal I feel the defenders are not so confident with Deano compared to start of season. They seem to be caught in two minds a lot, shall I pass back or hoof it out. They were all so strong & positive at the start of season and need to get that vibe back asap. Games are coming so thick & fast at this end of the season, we don't have the flexibility I think to rest so called key players.
  13. Nice touch by the club, hopefully it will boost the usual numbers and give the deserved backing to the team.
  14. So chuffed that my local team made it all the way to a national final, yes it would have been great to win but just making a final is such an achievement. Would never imagined that walking into Telford Street all those years ago. Congrats to all staff & players and amazing bunch of fans for a great day out. We can argue about the tactics forever but I'm proud of my team. With the youth we have around the place the future could be very promising.
  15. Shocking display all round today and agree with most previous comments. Devine has to play on weds as well as Polworth, Christie, Tremarco & Esson. We can't rest everyone as that would be ridiculous, but some of these guys need to refocus and get the hunger back, to many today had an eye on final I feel. What an achievement though a team that has lost 10 goals in 2 games, then goes on to lift the cup, big day for the underdogs, woof, woof
  16. Conditions & performance not great but objective of getting in to next round achieved. Well done fans of both sides for turning out in that weather.
  17. Defo a good bit of business for the club and good on JV for signing up.
  18. Very frustrating to watch, but just one of those days I'm afraid to say. Some nice football at times, pass & move etc. Tansey, Vincent, Watkins even Doran at times had some good touches. Like to see a 4-4-2 on Tues, with Richie giving Billy a wee hand up front, see how it goes.
  19. Outstanding back to the wall performance by the 9 men all hero's. Many thanks to CJT for bus organisation etc and to all the boys & girls in attendance for making it a top day. Unfortunately only down side, our bus toilet required gas masks every time someone opened the door, but hey we survived.
  20. Well done to all concerned, looking forward to the right result & a great day out
  21. Very disappointed with today's performance as a few have mentioned, lethargy seems to have crept in these last few weeks. So unreal how we are missing Richie Foran also bring Raven back to RB Shinnie to LB. I think we need some creativity so give Polworth & Christie a go. Williams & Toby just don't have it im afraid.
  22. Pretty forgettable first half with to many sloppy mistakes. Second half much improved, Watkins & Ross found a bit of good form, impressed with Polworth, needs more game time though. What was clear though was how much influence Richie has and how he's missed when not there. However were in next round and that's what matters, home tie please would be good.
