  1. Bit disappointed that Eagle is gone. Gutted for Duff. Now that Allison is gone, doesn't that leave us with just Ryan Esson in the goalkeeping department? We'll definitely need 1 or 2 keepers before the start of next season.
  2. Sounds like Rankin had a good game, set up 2 or 3 of the Hibees 6 goals. Hibs bottled it, thought they had it won and thre away a 6-2 lead. The Steelmen even had time to fluff a penalty near the end before their equaliser.
  3. Apologies for the overall vagueness of this rumour. I read somewhere (cannot for the life of me remember where) that Mizuno could come to ICT on loan from Celtic next season. I know absolutely nothing about him, other than he plays on the right of midfield. IF this is genuine, do we need him? Where and how often would he play?
  4. Anything less than 2nd and Butcher's gotta go.
  5. Forget that! Well 6-6 Hibs!!!
  6. Sorry I'm late. WOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
  7. Programme signed by Dean McDonald (remember him?) Gotta be worth at least ?5000 at auction.
  8. Would be a great addition. Premier League experience, plenty of experience overall at his age. Fantastic penalty taking record. Of course, nowhere near as good as penalty king Matt le Tissier!
  9. Cant believe this is up for discussion. He is one of the worst players to play for us. Cant run, tackle, head or pass need i say more! Tad harsh, don't ya think? He's scored a couple of good goals with his head this season, and on the few occasions I've seen him play he looked solid. Maybe not SPL quality but certainly a useful addition and a good squad player if not starting XI.
  10. Just found this interview with Rooney on BBC Scotland at the SFA Awards. Didn't look or sound very confident, I suppose he wouldn't have done many interviews before. Talks a bit about the clubs aspirations for next season and how well the team have done this season. No mention as to whether or not he'll still be here next season, but he didn't exactly say he wouldn't either. I think he'll stay. He's unproven at SPL level so can't imagine Donny why would want him and Hayes after one good season in the First Division. Although Boro have just signed Halliday from Livi after a good year in the Third Division so anything could happen in the summer. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/8657968.stm At least if Adam did leave, Tel has got ?20m to sign Kris Boyd and Robbie Keane. Then he can use the other ?19m to sign Adam back again in January.
  11. Actually, that is not quite correct. I know exactly who you are talking about and the person you are referring to (the one who snarled) is a good friend of mine and there is more to the story than you might have witnessed. The person he 'snarled' at had been slating ICT players and management all through the game (I heard it with my own ears and almost said/shouted something to the guy myself). He then chose to sarcastically applaud Vigurs (i think) off the pitch whilst continuing to make derogatory comments about ICT/Butcher. Admittedly, my friend's reaction - as a diehard home and away ICT supporter - was a bit OTT, he admits that himself, and it was probably as a result of us playing as badly as we did that day, but after that incident he calmed down and nothing more would have happened if it hadnt been for the guy down the front stirring it further as he left. As far as my friend going to hit the guy, you clearly did not hear what was said as the first guy went past him a few minutes before the end of the game .... He basically invited a square go, told him he was going to be waiting for him so he could kick the **** out of him, and made some additional comments that got the reaction he was wanting .... I was sitting in the row behind and I can tell you it nearly got me off my seat too !!! He wasnt waiting, but I do wonder what his reaction might have been when faced with the likes of myself, Big Stew and one or two other big lads who my friend was giving a lift back to the pub after the game ...... Suffice to say that the stewards came to speak to my friend shortly after the other guy left and assured him that it was not him in the wrong for the stairway altercation, even if he was OTT when shouting at the guy. Ah ok, apologies for any misinterpretations. Sounds like the other bloke was a bit of a WUM, or perhaps he'd had a few. Might have been a County fan snuck into the home end. Is he a regular at matches? I did see the stewards and a copper down by the tunnel watching the commotion but I didn't see them speaking to him after the game, I got up and left pretty sharpish to avoid congestion. Didn't work out that way, got stuck on Longman Drive for half an hour after spending an equal amount of time in the car park ;)
  12. That was one of the few games I've been to this season and I was sat above the tunnel as well. Did you see the bloke who stood up to clap a County sub as he went off? Another guy behind him stood up and was furious with him. Pointing, snarling, yelling abuse. The people around him had to calm him down and some of us were yelling at him to stop being such a prat. Then at the end the first bloke was leaving and the second one stopped him and tried to hit him but they were separated. I don't know if he was a lost County fan or not but he was wearing an ICT shirt, so why did he applaud their sub? Also the other guy was a complete tool for mouthing off like that. There were plenty of kids around from what I could see. Did you see any of that incident? Sorry, bit off topic I know but just seemed to ruin it completely for me, more so than the defeat, which in all honesty we deserved.
  13. Esson signed my forehead We do have the same first name so at least people half knew who I was!
  14. Can't we all just get along? :004: :D
  15. For some reason, winning the SPL with a team plenty good enough and expected to win the title will get you manager of the year. But going unbeaten for more than half a season, turning a 15 point deficit into a 12 point lead, and being the first team for over a decade to bounce back into the SPL at the first attempt, isn't. As well as dominating the league this season, Rangers also dominated the end-of-season awards. Walter of course took the top prize. Player of the Year was won by a snooker player. And Danny Wilson, reportedly the subject of a ?12m bid from Liverpool (bit extortianate), won Young Player of the Year. If he wasn't going to win it, at the very least Tel should have been nominated. At least Rooney got Player of the Year in the First Division. And guess who got Player of the Year in the Second Division. :004:
  16. Big electronic scoreboards to put in the corners on the A9 side so they can be seen from every seat in the stadium. Always thought one major thing the TCS was lacking was a big screen or at the very least a proper electronic scoreboard.
  17. Whether it was someone who looked like him, or maybe I had a vision, but I swear to God I saw Davide Xausa! :P
  18. Both pics are brilliant CaleyD, but I'd prefer a dolphin. I've sat in the North stand before and seen the dolphins leaping in the Firth from my seat. They are the main source of tourism in the area as people come from all over the world to see them, and I've met Chris Packham and Charlie Phillips on Chanonry Point filming them for a BBC2 programme. A dolphin would be quite appropriate I think.
  19. If Pavels came back, he'd have someone here who spoke his language and could form a good defensive partnership with.
  20. Being right next to the Moray Firth, it should be a dolphin.
  21. The players each getting their own intro as they came out of the tunnel at the end was a brilliant gesture. Gave each one a moment in the spotlight to say thank you for a tremendous effort this season. Tezza seemed to be in his element! :D
  22. Ta very much :D Good luck in the final, really would like County to win it. Would be a brilliant season for Highland football. Inverness Caledonian Thistle - First Division Champions Ross County - Scottish Cup Winners Mon the Highlands!
