  1. from what i hear about this lad, the idea of him and hogg together next season has got me a little exited.
  2. Can't be bigger than graeme shinnies. Can it?
  3. if the league expands there is the possibility, in an 18 team league I'd say 3-4 would be part time. But the proposed 14 team league would probably avoid this.
  4. So 'TB totally runs the ship' As this is the case I think his bar staff are requiring his input, too few when the pressure is on and don't get me started on his pie making skills. His inability to sell the corporate boxes should be addressed .. what is he doing with his time?. The car park is crap on match days - time he addressed this, it is not as if he is giving his team any advice. His handling of the grass cutters leave a lot to be desired, the stand side cutting is iffy! His ICT site members concerns need addressed - what right has he to ignore them and more so, our well informed contributors on this site talk so much sense, Terry. The players needs and tactics for next year are already in good hands if he just listens to the well qualified, reasoned, presentations on this site - easy peasy - we don't need a football manager at all. That wonderful player Munro, the one ALL the SPL clubs were fighting over when we released him, should be reinstated in the heart of our defence along side Rossco and their speed and ball distribution will bring instant success. Oh, should there remain a wee bit of concern re the tactics etc... it would appear from the above posts.. you should just watch the Tinks. ....they are so much better than us. Now the financial situation... I think Terry that you should set up as a NEWCO ... Inverness Thistle FC (2013) and get rid of all the moaning minnies on here at a stroke! Reclaim the high ground Terry, you know it makes sense, we did come from up the Hill, look once again down on the nerds as we always did and allow them to find their true home, over the bridge with their distant relatives. Oh, and yes you are at fault - the toilet cistern is also iffy and it is your fault! Superb.
  5. Ah I couldn't find his wiki.
  6. its looking positive. so soon after tokelys leaving to. swift work by the club, and butcher. according to soccerbase hes scottish aswell.
  7. Tokely said butcher told him his hands were tied. If his hands are tied then that's not managements fault thats the clubs financial positions fault. Another victim to a small budget imo.
  8. 2 experienced centre halfs both have captained their sides for years could be a winner
  9. the main difference between scottish football and english is the english have the advantage of have of roughly 52 million people. so that roughly 26 million males compared to our 3 million males. of those males id say 3 quaters are football fans and less than half of those have season tickets. so by my maths england have 9.75 million st holders and we have 1.125 million st holders. anyone else see the problem here. i think my estimates are ambitious too
  10. may not of been better, but were certainly on a par with them. all im saying is i was hugely impressed with golobart last season and if i was given the option as manager id take him back in an instant even ifit meant we couldnt keep tokely. tokelys leaving and was magnificent in his 16 years here and we should be forever greatful but he seems to be spitting the dummy out the pram to me. where is he going to go? he wont get a better offer not at the stage he is at. i find this move very strange on tokelys part, and i dont buy into the 'terry didnt want him' stories, tokely had the chance to re-sign for us and he didnt take it, i dont see where he is going to go from here.
  11. golobart gave his heart and soul to us last season, i think hes 1 in a million, very rarely will you find a player that joins you as a 19 year old who will make mistakes and will always bounce back every time. i think he will go far in his career.
  12. Well tns and Bangor do just as well in Europe as dundee utd and hibs have done recently.
  13. Wouldn't knock the welsh league a few Swansea and Cardiff players have played in it aswell as otj so there's obviously something to look at there.
  14. The clubs statement from yesterday says tokes, jones, Hogg, and gillet have all been offered longer to decide their futures. Could the paper talks be premature. Unlikely but possibly.
  15. probably the start of next month/ end of this month
  16. everyone has been given more time
  17. with st johnstones attendences, im shocked at the amount of players they are bringing in. i think there could be trouble brewing for them. as long as we stay up we should be able to keep our books balanced. some added interest with the derbies, we could do ok next year in terms of cash. but aslong as we arnt in unpayable debt im happy. if that means we cant buy players or compete with other clubs with wage demand etc i dont care, id rather have a club to support in 20 years time what ever league that may be in, than a successful one now.
  18. done a sponsored walk on the great glen way to fort augustus over friday and saturday. so spending the day watching the french open in bed. a pack of digestive, a big bag of salt and vinegar twirls and a 2 litre bottle of water. recovery is on. not being so enthrawled by a game of tennis in a long time but this djokovic game is imense. alot more of twists and turns to come in this match for sure.
  19. a month to pre season. plenty time to sort things out.
  20. well tokely said that when he asked butcher for a better deal he said his hands were tied. tokely at no point blames the manager. always the club so rene your still off your rocker. you should maybe get some treatment for your paranoia
  21. The bitterness on this forum is unreal can people get a grip please.
  22. Aslong as the old firm are around I can't see it. Many leagues have had hard times in the past. Even england. We will get through it imo. Our under 21 team is very competitive now. And I think it shows the enthuses been put in youth development.
  23. Totally agree But await the 'vomiting rainbows' We have an interesting couple months ahead of us let's see how it unfolds before making judgements about next season. I have faith terry and mo have a plan
  24. What about Irvine? Our new elustripis signing?
