  1. Queen of the South away is a good day out. I'd be happy with that..... But we need to get past the Pars first!
  2. Worse stadiums? Parkhead. I've never had to wear a builders helmet at Caley Park and i've never had a big post obstructing my view.
  3. FFS East End Park is sh*te at the best of times never mind a mid week game! Is Gillet suspended for the cup or the league? At least it's another away game to look forward to this month Every penny counts as well with the cup gates!
  4. I'd be up for that if no-one else is. One of my favourite away days is Motherwell - Fir Park Social Club! I'll PM you....
  5. I guess I was wrong about Regan not contacting the police then! No one has the 'democratic right' to racially abuse some one. Hope the guy is charged.
  6. As much as I have laughed at Mad Vlad and yes called him 'mad' myself I do see where some of his points come from. The problem with Vlad is he uses ridiculous language / examples. But he is correct with his assesment about the Glasgow based media and the dire state of Scottish football. However, if he is wanting to sell Hearts, he should maybe consider marketing the club in a more positive light. He is a business man after all.
  7. A Robbo and Gringo Jnr double act again?
  8. We are all Mowgli! That article gives Johndos posts a run for his money!
  9. Glad that Regan has re-tweeted it with that comment, but I think he is making a flippant comment about the police. I don't think he has actually called the police himself. As a matter of fact has anyone? I don't think so and I don't think Tade did either. The tweet about 'democratic right'... that sound like it comes straight from a BNP manual.
  10. I think your brother might be taking the mickey! No mention of MM on brfcforum and Sky bet odds: (With no Gary Johnson to be seen!?) Next Permanent Manager Shaun North 5/1 Eoin Jess 6/1 Mark Robins 6/1 Jim Magilton 6/1 Jamie Fullerton 7/1 Stuart Campbell 7/1 Sean O'Driscoll 8/1 Ray Graydon 10/1 Scott McGleish 10/1 Colin Calderwood 10/1 Geraint Williams 10/1 Keith Curle 10/1 Marcus Law 12/1 Leroy Rosenior 12/1 Paul Trollope 12/1 Nicky Forster 14/1 Steve Tilson 14/1 Brian Laws 16/1 Justin Edinburgh 16/1 Kevin Blackwell 16/1 Micky Mellon 16/1 Andy Morrell 16/1 John Coleman 16/1 Paul Ince 20/1 Dean Holdsworth 20/1 John Still 20/1 Paul Peschisolido 20/1 Peter Reid 20/1 Martin Ling 25/1 Ian Hendon 25/1 Ian Sampson 25/1
  11. I'm astonished that it does not break the twatter rules. It breaks the law FFS!
  12. Buckle has left the building.... finally!
  13. Has the Pars support always had a a hooligan / racist element? I've never noticed it untill this year. They seem to be imploding this season. More arrests in the Pars end yesterday. I'm not sure if it was for racism but they have had people arrested for racist chants already this season. I'll never forger Gillet being stretchered off at EEP earlier in the season whilst the wee racist corner booed him and made vile comments. They have racially abused Hasseilbaink and of course Tade - and that's not just because he played for Raith Rovers. Yesterday a Pars fan made a vile racist comment to Tade via twitter. Apparantly the persons account has now been deleted, but i'm sure Twitter can trace the comment and take action if needed. Of course, Pars fans will point out that it's a minority, but it seems to be a very vocal and growing minority.
  14. Aye, but their a non-team. Buying their way to the tit-le - they don't count!
  15. Yeovil (Who put the O and the Y?) Aldershot Bristol Rovers We should pick next summers tour very wisely! Nearly played Plymouth as well so they can go on the list, and of course Stockport County two summers ago.
  16. Well he did bring Adam Virgo to the club! Tuffey is out of contract in the summer so he may be away in January. I suggest if/when Buckle goes, we enquire about Bevan, unless Tuffey will be given number 1 next season.
  17. Has he gone yet? Poor Scott Bevan!
  18. I've just 'tagged' Stewart Regan in a tweet with the following text: @StewartRegan Any idea how no foul was awarded for this sir? (with Scottys 33% slowed down video included) Go to @CapitalCaley and 're-tweet'. He'll get the message loud and clear (in a twitter sense of course... Now if only Neil Doncaster had Twitter! lol
  19. I didn't realise how bad it was at the time. I've now see the highlights and it is truly awful. When we got the drop ball and kicked it out for a goal kick, the Hibs fans booed. Presumably because they were on the attack again after the foul, they didn't like that. They are worse than the Old filth, St Midden and Killie for their supporters maturity. The referee was behind Foran watching the play so maybe from his angle it was hard to see. If he was in front of O'Hanlon or to the side, he would have sent him off. I never noticed the view that the linesman had. If he was keeping up with play (which he should have been) he would have seen it. So, either he ignored it or couldn't keep up with the pace. Either way, bad tackle, bad officiating, bad O'Hanlon, lucky Foran! I do think that the compliance officer should be pulling him up for this.. but then again we are against the ten team SPL so Doncaster will have him on his leash.
  20. Very happy with the point. I thought we dominated the first half and it was even in the second half. Hibs had one chance and scored, we had maybe 2 or 3 chances. For all our possession, we stuggled in front of goal. Sometimes they looked scared to shoot. Of course, the wind didn't help matters. All in all, I think we played well and probably deserved the 3 points but if you said we'd take a point before the game I would have taken that. For the folk that watched it on TV - what did you think of Hayes goal? It reminded me of Bagans goal at Tynie 10 years ago in the cup. I did have a few ciders down me at that point so it may have looked better to me than it actually was, but I would say it was one of the best goals scored in an ICT shirt. The big positive to take from the game is that is now the first time this season we have gone on a 2 game unbeaten run! May not sound spectacular but considering our early season form, it must be fantastic for the confidence of the team. Special mention to Foran, who has played excellent in the last 3 games. Shame he will miss the St J game now! If we can beat St J, our season will start to look very good indeed.
  21. Greg Tansey was Stockports penalty taker - and apparantly a very good one as well! So if he is on the park if and when we get a penalty he may be the man to take it.
  22. Tomorrow we shall win a penalty.
  23. I do agree that County will take some of our sponsorship etc, and it will be more evened out that way. But what about new sponsors attracted to the idea of 2 SPL teams in the Highlands? Two extra games where we will sell out with 7,000 fans instead of 3,800. County would add more interest for Caley Thistle fans. Not only would the goal be to avoid relegation / get to top six, but also to be above County. There will be more nationwide publicity with the 2 teams in the area. It will help with local economy. To add on to what a previous poster said, if a Hearts fan comes up and stays the weekend for an ICT game, he then does the same for a County game and possibly stays in an Inverness hotel buying Inverness beer in an Inverness pub etc. I don't believe for one second that we will lose fans to County. Not one Caley Thistle fan is going to tear up their ICT ticket and drive across the bridge. County will gain fans, but possibly fans who don't have an allegiance to a Highland team, possibly one of these ghastly Invernessian old filth fans. If they don't support Caley Thistle by now, well they never will. Smee - I personallly have no problem wishing County well. I am a Caley Thistle fan. It is the only team I support and the only team I will ever support. It doesn't make me any less of a "fan" for wishing them well. I still love to hate them, love to hate their fans - some of them very good friends actually and I sincerely hope I will continue to love to hate them whilst taking 12 points (or 9 if we make top 6) off them next season in the SPL!!! p.s. f*ck the County!
  24. For anyone who wishes to join us, a few Glasgow based fans will be leaving on the 2.15 train from Queen Street and spending the afternoon in Edinburgh and Leiths finest pubs.
