  1. I thought the game was very poor. We played well in the first quarter then from there we weren't great. St Johnstone were also very poor and I think a draw was a fair result. The Hayes run and shot off the post was excellent and unlucky not to go in. Golobarts last ditch tackle after Saints looked certain to score was the highlight of the match for me, Lomas was kicking off claiming a penalty and I see he's been saying it in the press today. I am certain he got the ball. We could have won it an the end. I can't remember who it was, but the ball fell to him at the edge of the box and a low shot was saved by the keeper. I think if he had generated a bit more force in the shot then it would have beat the keeper. Away crowd was 247. Poor game but happy with the point.

  3. Didn't think we would beat Aberdeen, Thought we would beat Hibs. Thought we would get a point at home to St J. So, for this game.. I don't have a clue!
  4. Tade has already agreed that if we lose the next game, he's walking from Paisley as well
  5. So we're walking from Paisley! Bring it on!

  6. I am disapointed that we don't have another away day at Hibs. It is a very good away day but hey ho!
  7. I'm sure that can be arranged. If you're struggling you could always do the final stage. Innes to the stadium. If your feeling adventurous you could try the Alamo to the Innes and just miss out 1 mile in Paisley and 1 mile in Sneck.
  8. And I was hoping fer two home games in the final week and the biggest pisss up and the shortest march/crawl ever !! And I was thinking you were joining us from Paisley to Sneck....
  9. It's looking very possible that us Highland Marchers will be walking from Killie to Sneck. I wish they'd just hurry up and release the fixtures!
  10. Is that the one at the bottom of the main stand?
  11. Just had email confirmation from John from the Tulloch Club. Doors are open for visiting fan pre-match again, sign in book at the door and £1 donation. No need to email in advance like the last time it would appear.
  12. All this 'drivel' not because of 2 games, but because of a whole seasons worth.
  13. I'd idealy see the ten teams re-join the SFL. 16 team Division 1, 16 team Division 2, 16 team Division 3 then a Highland League and Lowland League below with a pyramid system for entry to Division 3. This would mean we would need 8 more teams to join Division 3. 4 from the HL and 4 from the Lowland junior leagues to join Division 3. Rangers and Celtic can apply to join straight to Division 1 with the former SPL teams, but they have to sign up to the new league rules which means all potential sponsor and TV revenue must be split between Division 1 teams evenly. Also, no matter what league your in, terracing is allowed. No silly stadia rules that will get teams into debt building them.
  14. Safety reached. Thank feck for Dunfermline.
  15. I presume the Tulloch will be opening for us again?
  16. I think you should sprint it!
  17. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forres_Mechanics_F.C. Good effort from a very bored Can Can! Forres Mechanics F.C. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search Forres Mechanics Football Club are a senior Scottish football club but currently playing in the Barclays Premier League in England. Lionel Messi has hinted a summer move to the greatest club in the world. Charlie Rowley, the manager has been contacted by Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Argentina but he turned them down, but who wouldn't when your already managing the Best team in the world. Pele once said " It would've been a dream to play for a club like Forres, Sadly, they was turned down my request to join the club, saying I wasn't good enough and my technical ability wasn't up to Forres Standards. I have to agree with them. There too good." The club were one of the founder members of the Highland Football League but have only won the SPL 32 times and the European Cup 10 times. On the Monday after 'The Can-Cans' 2010 Highland League Cup success, manager Gordon 'Boggle' Winton announced he was resigning his post, due to work commitments. His assistant, Charlie Rowley, took over as manager and has continued the great work he and Boogle set out to do. 18. I think another 3 points dropped by the Pars today have made us safe. They have 18 points to play for and need to get 12 to overtake us (assuming we lose every single game). Middens win today against Killie now makes it very achievable to take 7th if we can show some consistency in the remaining games. Edit: We need to play consistently well
  19. I cannot believe the trial regarding the bombs sent to Neil Lennon, Paul Mcbride and Trish Godman has now been changed to 'conspiracy to ASSAULT'. Not enough evidence that the bombs could kill so it can only be 'assualt'. I didn't even know 'conspiracy to assault' was a real offence. "It means Muirhead and McKenzie will now face a reduced charge of plotting to assault the alleged targets by sending suspected parcel bombs." http://news.stv.tv/scotland/west-central/301923-murder-charges-dropped-in-neil-lennon-bomb-trial/ So if someone tries to punch someone in a bar, but missed, I assume they could be charged with plotting to assault. It's pathetic that this would be the same charge as sending a bomb in the post - just because the bombs weren't very effectvie, it doesn't mean the alleged offenders weren't trying to kill. What a joke of a justice system.
