  1. I think I read somewhere (maybe on cto) that the management were looking at the Welsh leagues. This was a few weeks back.
  2. In terms of players coming and going, Butcher has to take the blame for some individual cases. But Butcher has to report to someone. I thought it was Grassa but obviously not. The board have let certain things happen and they are to blame as well. Vigurs, Munro, Duncan, Tokely. Four players that should have still been playing with us. Debatable about Duncan due to him going back down to Div 3, but I think he was still worthy. Butchers not to blame for the "state that ICT currently finds itself in". I'm not sure if you mean financially or the team on the park or both. The Manager is responsible for the team, but he seems to have such a free reign that he can do what he wants. He's at fault for ripping the heart and soul out of the team, but the board let him and therefore must take some of the blame.
  3. Tokely speaks out again. http://www.thescotti...st-at-boss.html
  4. reports about games taking place in Aberdeen being referred to as 'the Highlands' or The 'North East Derby' between Inverness and Aberdeen.
  5. It was truly shocking and the scenes in the terracing luckily don't happen here. What I found bizarre is the high amount of anti-semetism, Nazi salutes, Nazi banners etc etc in Poland of all countries! If I were English, i think i'd be staying at home after seeing that.
  6. Could do with 2 or 3 more folk for the Caley Thistle team................ P.M me.
  7. When London was announced as the host city in 2005, the UK leaders all thought the economy was hunky dory. I like the Olympics. It's a great sportig event. However there's a few things I don't like: First of all, I would prefer a Team Scotland instead of an amalgamation of 3.5 countries.. I don't like how Lord Coe et al have hi-jacked the Olympics to turn it into some sort of Royalist, aristocracal, Diamond Jubilee propganda. This whole carrying the flame malarky. It's a good idea on paper - but not at a cost of millions of pound of tax payers money so that Princess Anne, David Beckham and Will.I.am / W.I.ll.Iam / William / Willy or what ever his name is can strutt their stuff. Football is not an Olympic sport. Tennis is not an Olympic sport. Finally, ordering the Saltire flag to be removed from the roof of Hampden because 'Flags of countries not competing cannot be displayed' for me is highly offensive. So, to sum it all up........
  8. Butchers track record at the club so far indicates he wouldn't go for the youth players - but will take youth players from elsewhere though. e.g. Josh Meekings. Butcher would never ever sign one of his 'rejects', Even out of contract Ian Vigurs. Unfortunately he has brought players to the club that have sat on the bench, albet most of them were loanees. Winnal, Chippendale to name two.
  9. "In his single season with Inverness he became a fans favourite" Obviously Stevenage have an effective propoganda machine for their fans! I am sad to see him leave though. He had more to offer, but we can replace him.
  10. I agree, and I also think that a trip away for a week helps with team morale. However, from a fans point of view I am biased - I do like going to different locations, it's like a mini-holiday! But I assume / hope that games against Scottish teams will be tough opposition. Hopefully they are looking at top end 1st division, i.e. Falkirk, Dundee etc. If it is only HL / north teams though, then that will be terrible prep.
  11. He forgot to apply sun cream?
  12. I would seriously have to consider spending my money on football if a newco has no sanctions. I've already wasted a lot of money watching a league that is rigged. I don't know if i can carry on spending money on it if I know in advance that the league is rigged!
  13. I'm sure if we have signed someone, the club would have announced it.
  14. Stranraer, Dumfries, Ayr. The south of Scotland tour. lol
  15. We'll go to Scunthorpe. I'd take Bristol / Bath and Aldershot again. Another guided tour of Brunels bridges!
  16. Last season it was all confirmed at very short notice. The game in Northern Ireland was postponed, the tour of South west England was nearly cancelled altogether because the club were struggling to find a third team to play. The pre-season tour usually ends the week before the season starts, but that doesn't mean it will be the same this year of course!
  17. The squad is coming together nicely. We could still do with around 3 more players. County have a squad of 15, we have 12 confirmed but aiming to have 15. We have folk that play amatuer football regularly, a couple of legends, and a few folk who don't play football often but are of a good fitness level like myself! All in all though, we have a good team assembling. It's open to anyone of any ability...............
  18. Yes. Regan has confirmed this. It clashes with the Champions League but we were allowed a year or 2 before implementing this.
  19. Would that be a hat trick scoring leg end Careful now. There's spies in the camp! Keeping the team secret for now! lol But yes, you are right!
  20. There didn't seem to be any rush from the other coaches to help him up!
  21. There's quite a few ICT fans expressed interest in this. I have 6 confirmed now, including an ICT legend. If you fancy playing send me a PM. I've been in talks with MacAngus and things are starting to fall together. Open to quines and loons of any ability....
  22. I realise it is a bit of clutching at straws indeed. However, I'd be very worried if I were a Saint at the moment. Midden seem to be on a downward spiral and the Fermers are slipping drastically under Lomas. Yes, they had top 6 teams to play but they were struggling before the split as well. It's not looking good for Lomas' record. Every club is rebuilding and some teams (including the Fermers) have hardly any players signed up. There's a few of us in the same boat, so it's not doom and gloom.... yet!
