  3. Isn't that biased since you have a bet on the Buddies going down? Are you saying that you don't enjoy your trips to the Alamo? This thread title is starting to bug me every time I log on. They're top of the league.... but we're still above them! I'll fix it for you That's much better!

  5. Where did he say this?
  6. I too thought/hoped they would suffer a monumental collapse after xmas. But...it pains me to say it....they deserve to come up. If only Dundee and Falkirk had made more of a fist of it Falkirk is a terrible away day. Dundee... well we already do that! Dingwall away will be a much better away day than Dunfermline. I hope Hibs don't go down as it is a great stadium to go to.
  7. No and yes.
  8. I'd prefer the game to be in Bristol! Brilliant away day! Dewsbury Dude can do the match report next time!
  9. There's quite a few Caley Thistle fans that stay away from Pittodrie - especially after the shambles of last season. Twenty two Caley Thistle fans ejected from the stadium by stewards using force, attempting confrontations with fans and with the stewards behaving like hooligans. On that day, there were no police present at Pittodrie - it was an experiment that backfired. The same happened earlier this season and also well into double figures, Motherwell fans were treated the same way. It made the press aided by Tam Cowan. I was delighted to find out on Saturday that Pittodrie have a revised 'safe standing policy' for the away fans. The back six rows are now reserved for standing. No need for these new flat 'safe standing' seats that's been talked about. Simply crowd control supervision so that there is 1 person to each seat / space. No views are blocked, no hassle, and everyone was 'safe'. They also appeared to have lots of new stewards from the last time. Many people will know instantly who i'm on about when I mention the female steward with the blonde hair who usually stands at the top of the stairs. The same one who i've seen shout and scream at fans and pick on kids at will. I also found out that she has been demoted and is no longer allowed near away fans due to her bullying and intimidating attitude. Pleasing. Suddenly Aberdeen has gone from a poor match day experience to a very enjoyable one! Of course, our win helped! So, I am now looking forward to the next trip to Pittodrie (whilst standing safely).
  10. Don't jinx it!!!!!!!!!
  11. Really happy with that performance. It was well worth the training walk! First half we played some good football and probably should have been further ahead at half time. In the second half, Aberdire came more into it but we were very solid at the back and dangerous on the counter attack. Great to see Butcher kissing the Caley Thistle badge at the end as well!

  13. One of my friends that stands in the jail end thought it was Richie Brittain initially, over celebrating his penalty! Now that would be some celebration! I think Brittain should be a suspect.
  14. 15 points and they fecked it up!
  15. Walking to Aberdeen from Wednesday for Highland March training!

  17. I won't congratulate Agent Munro untill he does the job he's supposed to do... bang in the own goals. Maybe today is the day....
  18. I wonder if Craig Brewster will be a making a wee phone call to Leishman.... if he's not done it already!
  19. I would take a guess and say they will re-appoint Calderwood. Did very well the first time there and took over Killie and County on short term deals towards end of seasons to try and save them. Albeit, not as late as this and in far better positions than DAFC. Other option would be giving Jim Leishman the role as well as the DOF role he already does. However, he's running in the council elections for New Labour so couldn't see him being able to carry out these roles at once. Any other manager out of football wil probably be a candidate as well. Could be a win win for a manager out of football. For example, Jim Jeffries takes over untill the end of the season, they get relegated he moves on. No harm to his CV as they look doomed anyway and JJ gets a healthy wage for a couple of months. However, if he keeps them up, then this will boost his CV significantly.
  20. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17398419 So he's had 3 months refereeing in the lower leagues and has taken a hissy fit and quit, threatening legal action. Total disresepect to the SFL. He won't be missed. He's also a Doctor so i'm sure he won't be put out financially.
  21. http://news.sky.com/...rticle/16190407 Respect to George Clooney and the Democrat politicians involved in this....
