  1. Perhaps this calls for a re-vamped 'Rougues Gallery'?
  2. Thats right - lets all laugh at junior :thumb04: I can see that being the next fans chant this season If only I had the old mans load of photo's, i'd surely find a few piccies to get revenge on a few folk. or perhaps a passport picture of one of the site moderators - hey don?
  3. I hope marius keeps the good memories of ICT and not the shambles of his departure. The people who really cared for marius were his fans, and as someone has said, they peobably played a massive part in kick-starting his intenational career. I disagree that marius held us back in the first half of the season - to an extent. The man had just come back from an injruy and did not have a pre-season like the other lads. He also had the added stress of a work permit which was inicially declined. It all boils down to the Managers' decision, and if CC or CB chose to leave him out then fair enough. He played well against Celtic at parkhead and even gordon strachen stated he has ability that would shine through later in the season - which it did. I, like everyone else, would love to see the club progress and come out of this a better club. Learning from these kind of mistakes (no matter how monumental) can surely make us stronger - I still fail to see that this can happen. The club have been tarred as an amature outfit, and until we get a more professional board/DoF then we certainly can't match progress.
  4. FACT: Marius takes pay cut to play for ICT Marius states his intention to Join International Squad once more and that was the reason he joined ICT ICT and Orion agree to pay for the player and put all details into their 2 year budget Marius states his intention to see out, if not extend his contract, saying he is happy in inverness (Did he not also say he loved scotland for the fishing?) Rumours of a bust up between Marius and other players prove to be faulse as Ian Black even states he is probably his closest friend in scotland, and they all get on well at training - I might just add here that playing at the same fields the club trained at last year, he was more of a moral booster than a moral looser!!! New Chairman and Sutherland control see club state intention to Marius they want rid of him In all of this, I fail to see how ICT can possibly come out of this as innocent. I personally give credit to Stevico1 for being as honest as he can be in the circumstances
  5. FFS - I aint seen that site for years... 5 years? surely that was my last viewin of the site and not update. LoL. Myself and my mate did another one called Bert and Hyper. Wouldnt get the b&h.com addy. lol
  6. Is there not a saying "honesty is the best policy" If only we had all been informed of the whole story rather than the sugar coating that has gone on in recent weeks. All that remains for me to say is... THANK YOU MARIUS - You were entertaining to watch and a gentleman in your ICT tenure. I wish you every success with your new prospects, and hope somehow, somewhere, you can look back and think about the fans at ICT that made you so welcome, rather than the fiasco that has ended your time in the Highlands
  7. Regarding my previous posting yesterday on this thread, I apologise for making it seem like I am pointing fingers and adding fuel to the fire. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and the more this saga continues, the more ludicrous and meaningless opinions/postings we are going to recieve. I thank Mr DS for his handling of things in his time at the club, the time and money he has invested into ICT and for the huge effort it must have taken to get an SPL standard ground sorted in such a short timescale. But my previous posting was not to offend, only to voice my own opinion (how ever ridiculaous it may seem to others) and thoughts on this entire affair. Seeing our major shareholder's name appearing more than our chairman's, it strikes me as exremely strange (or indeed coincidental) that monies recieved from this sale will probably not make its way into CB's transfer pool. Once again I apologise for my previous posting that may have caused offence - it was only voiced as an observation/opinion
  8. it's seeming more and more like this is to do with lining certain shareholders pockets more than the interests of the player or club on a whole. if ICT as a CLUB wanted to cash in for ?500k, then they surely would have 1 or 2, maybe even 3 signings on the cards to strengthen where we are week - currently at the back, with our strike force coming in a very very close second. Rather than clearing debts that are not actually there!!! It is, as someone said earlier, astonishing to hear nothing coming from our Chairman, offical website or indeed an official statement in the press. The comments in the paper only read as passing comments and nothing concrete - nothing more than an excuse / cover up for the farce that is happening with this transfer. Similar happened with Dennis only not on this scale. He too wanted an extention and was offered such a thing - yet someone, somewhere, fecked that up too. Only difference here (besides fees) being that there is one persons name constantly mentioned regarding Niculae that was never mentioned with any other departues - and that name is David Sutherland. But Why???
  9. This still seems to me as some sort of politics battle within ICT. The hype surrounding Niculaes arrival compaired to the stress, incompetence and 'desperate to release him mood' surrounding his departure only go so far in proving this point. The truth WILL eventually come out. Perhaps not this week, but it will. The way the club have treated Marius is a discrace, and they have dragged ICT's name right into the gutter :33:
  10. I've got a bottle of the Limited Edition ICT Whisky. I have not seen the bottle since it was bought - it's still in the protective wrapping and whisky shop bag that it was stored in. No-way will I seel that - at least not for less than ?400k :004:
  11. If the club have indeed sold Marius for 400k euros (around ?250k-?300k) then that is only seen in my eyes as someone within the club seriously desperate to rid ICT of their 'star' player. That, or there is less money in the ICT coffers that we are lead to believe, meaning we may well be in financial worries off the park. Either way, the handling of the entire affair is a discrace. I was glad to see him play one more time (v county) before his departure. I just hope he bangs in the goals at bucherest to show our ICT board just how good a player they have let slip through the net :symbol_exclaim01:
  12. I have been dreading this day for weeks!!! :019: I wish marius all the best back in romania, and hope he takes the good points from ICT back to his home country. I doubt he will have fans like us over there, and seriously hope the Dinamo board treat him with far more respect than that of our own. It is, however, the least that this man deserves. ALL TOGETHER NOW.... On the 12th day of christmas my true love sent to me, 12 Niculaes, 11 Niculaes, 10 Niculaes, 9 Niculaes, 8 Niculaes, 7 Niculaes, 6 Niculaes 5 NICULAES 4 Niculaes, 3 Niculaes, 2 Niculaes AND A MARIUS NICULAE BTW - Did anyone else take note that Andy Barrowman has been using the number 18 shirt in pre-season. Perhaps that was the biggest clue of them all but no-one actually spotted it. :016:
  13. I have to agree with CD here. Marius has stated his desire to stay in scotland on a few occasions, and has thanked everyone involved with the club (especially his fans) for the welcome he recieved and the enjoyment he had playing with our squad. He even (according to Ian Black in the press) has full respect of the playersat the club and some were even at his stag doo and wedding. Had he been so anti-ICT, he would have jumped ship prior to the euro's IMO.
  14. i just crimped out a huge length and nearly finished an arrow-word too :021: no photo evidence this time - but i can tell you the story of the "20 miles turd" (with illustration) from the last highland march - if you wish :023:
  15. a reminder for all at the club about 'beautiful football'.... I also remember a few seasons back that Pele used to have a poster in the dressing room stating ICT are nothing but Highland League minnows. This got the players thinking and made them perform on the park... Perhaps a video of this, or video clips of past performances (celtic 3-2/1-0/3-2 - Rangers 1-0/2-1 - Falkirk 3-2 - Ayr 4-3) can convince the boys to get on the park in a better phsycological frame of mind than forever hearing about fitness techniques and long punts to the front pair?
  16. very very well put scotty. Agree 100% The treatment of any player, let alone one of marius stature, is apauling :33: The club tried to move forward but did not capitalise. Some people are still living in the dark ages when it comes to wage structues etc etc. We have been in the SPL for long enough to seriously push for a top 6 or euro spot. we will not get there if we keep fleecing ross county of their star div 2 assets year in year out!
  17. It's said somewhere before that Marius clapped his cheering fans behind the goal on tuesday, for longer than he usually does. I too noticed this and have a disgusting feeling that this was his last game in a ICT shirt. In support of Marius, we shall no doubt still have his flag and chant his name for a couple more seasons to come. He has been an asset to the club in my opinion, and the board are using him as a pawn in a very sickening game of chess. A player of his calibre, not to mention his personal handling of the entire fiasco, only goes to show the club that they are indeed a shambles.
  18. indeed is is mate. We were given a date back in early june for the final. Pheonix rejected the date as they would be unable to field a team. the revised date we had to reject as we would be short. after much confusion both team agreed saturday - and now this. christ knows when we'll get our winners medals now :001:
  19. can't get more amatuer than this................ Divison 1-2 cup final postponed (re-arranged date yet to be confirmed) the reason............... Head of the amatuer league forgot to book a dam ref :029: :018:
  20. we've had it rough this season. we won our first match of the season, but suffered 2-1, 3-2, 4-3 defests. one match we were 3-1 up with 10 minutes to go, and somehow managed to loose 5-3. :018: but our cup runs have been our better time of the season. we played the league leaders in the semi final of the division 1/2 cup - trailed 4-1 with 20 to go and won 5-4. Was by far the best game I have seen/been involved in years. Too many players trying to act like Ronaldo, ronaldinho and drogba - so many times i have found myself in space, shouted for the ball only to see it somehow head back to our own goalkeeper... kind of like when we played county on tuesday!!! :023:
  21. At least Gringo will still be able to admire him - maybe even offer him a room on the cheap? :blah01:
  22. not a food, but perhaps a strange combo with me is my smokes. liquorice papers with mentol tips... needless to say not many people ask me for one. :024:
  23. Oh - and if any of the ICT coaching staff are reading this, kick off is 3pm saturday, Ardersier pitch (next to Gun Lodge Hotel) - so if you want to pop down for a bit of scouting *ahem* then I belive a former trialist *ahem* may get a game *ahem ahem* (**** cough) :blah01:
