  1. McBain and Wyness linking well, but why is Duncan still on the park and Black off? Baffles me. COME ON ICT - GET THAT EQUALISER!!!!!
  2. We're sitting too far back by the sound of it. good to hear tokely doing well and putting in a solid performance. Perhaps his new 2yr deal is worth fighting for a slot in the starting line up. lol
  3. I've noticed the last couple of games that the commentators always mentions 'wyness' and 'spark up front' in the same sentence when on about ICT's options. It's good to hear Imrie, Niculae and Paatenlinen are playing well, but I feel a Duncan for Wyness sub is needed with the latter pushing ahead of Niculae to add the finishing touch in the final 3rd.
  4. Please not before half time............ NOOOOOOOOOOOO :008:
  5. Superb news, although I feel it still worthwhile to bring in another player to allow competition for places and a welcome headache for CB Players "going"????? Why does the 'revolt' post on the rumour mill seem less and less of a rumour? :023:
  6. Or perhaps a replacement for McBain or Duncan??? Everyone has stated they have both been poor this term, yet still get a regular start. The later hasn't yet (to my knowledge) signed his new deal and could perhaps be away. Should Barnes be taken on by ICT, it really would create a lot more in the centre of the park. Good news imho

I doubt it very much also. If anyone would be heading hibs it would surely be Marius. He's caught the eyes of many fans of other teams this season already. Still waiting to hear from the 'source' lol
  8. CB must stop thinking the likes of Duncan, McBain and Hastings NEED to start every game, and rotate the squad where it is needed. I have said this on a previous thread and stick by it. People have mentioned how well Wyness and Niculae pair up, how Wilson and Tokely link well together, how Proctor and Cowie are gelling nicely into the side. What we need is consistancy, and I have no doubt we can take 12 points out of a possible 18. Top 6 is achieveable. The time to mess with the side is when our goal is reached mathmatically. Top 6 was CB's goal when he arrived - therefore the goal isn't yet reached!!!
  9. Craig Brewster has still got a team inherited from CC. He has brought in a decent player in Dougie Imrie and secured the services of 2 decent defenders - Proc and McGuire. I consider it a great piece of business in releasing Rankin, who ultimately seemed to be pulled in all directions during CB's 2nd spell in charge. If a player is unsure of their future, they get out - it's the same for every workforce. The only 2 issues I have with CB are these [li]His inability to know when to make substitutions during a game, even though 99% of the stadium can see who needs to come on for whom and at what time[/li] [li]The way he rests the best players we have at inappropriate moments (wilson, black, wyness & niculae to name a few) yet others are mostly poor week in week out whilst others wait in the wings (vigurs, paatelinen etc)[/li] If CB can sort these parts of his managerial reign with us, then he'll be a legend like Pele and Robbo were for us - yet if he sticks with what he's been doing the last few weeks, he'll become the next forgotten Sergi
  10. My first thoughts on seeing the challenge was it is an unfortunate mis-timed tackle. An I stick by that thought. There have been few challenges that are aimed at ending another players career (such as Roy Keane on Haaland) and this was not one of them. Yes the studs were showing, but I think it seemed like a fair attempt to get the ball. I only hope Eduardo recovers. As much as I hate Arsenal, he is a class act to watch.
  11. The commentator has described exactly what we need.... his names Wyness and he's still on the bench :008: :018:
  12. I know Niculae wants to get into the romanian team, but does it involve taking the ball off our own players (black) :018: :018: :018: :018:
  13. Looking towards Inverness from Ardersier as the suns just getting ready to set. Taken just days ago.
  14. In truth there are a few people who rarely post these days - myself included. Yompa, the Coia's, Caley Canary, Naelifts and The Wanderer hardly post as much as they used to. My reasoning is due to the mass of posts on the forums - even with the different sections - and I simply dont have the time or patience to read through them, as so many start to weave away from the subject that has originally been posted. For instance, a topic about line-ups would all of a sudden become a personal relay of 'text messages' slagging the other person off - something I really can't be bothered to read or reply to! The Caley Inn Crew, The Innes Bar Bunch and those from the borders created the heart of this site. The craic, the matchday hype and even club goings on. This has slowly changed to a Supports Trust versus Other Fans versus Club Members versus IHE website that has almost zero banta as a whole.* *This is only my opinion and others are welcome to theirs. I will ALWAYS be a regular to this website and also play my part as a supporter of ICT. I have no doubt however that there will be a mixture of responces to this from each of the seperate fans bases mentioned above, and also the neutrals to this site!!!
  15. HAPPY 8TH ANNIVERSARY!!!! :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03:
  16. We have confirmed dunco IHE Beatonio Jnr Slater CaleyD - Driver Lady Madonna Tug (for the time being) Yompa - TBC I would say due to space on the bus that 8 or 9 walkers and a driver would be the maximum. Keep in mind we need to allow plenty room for luggage aswell as potentially camping equipment this year. Much depends on the mini bus we use for the support transport. Donald - it's over to you :blah01:
  17. Does this mean Lady Madonna will be doing the whole thing now. I know Slater is??? Me is confuzled :017: Tug has been in contact today regarding his participation. His place will remain confirmed mind until I hear any different
  18. .... and how many other recruits we have / size of the 'BUS'. LoL. CCC has expressed interest of doing first and last day again, and has been told she may well have to arrange her own transport. We'll see how things pan out!!!
  19. 6 confirmed end-to-enders now... Chumba (beatonio) Slater dunco IHE Tug Yours truely and CaleyD - on the bus of course. We're getting very close to a full squad now. first come first served basis remember. I hope everyone is doing well with training etc. This years event is looking to be rather set already Yompa and the amigos gringo already have priority for 3 places should they decide to re-join the clan... K4rlos is yet to get back to me also... Looks like we may well have a full team already - and there are less than 15 weeks approx to go...
  20. will these people be doing first and last day chumba - - just like julie intends? we're usually limited to 8-10 people. confirmed end to enders are IHE Beatonio Tug Gringo Jnr CaleyD - Support bus Dunco and K4rlos have also expressed and interest, yet I am not sure if they are deffinates yet?
  21. i am one of these who has rarely been impressed by RD. The first match I saw him in was against Clyde down at Broardwood, and I didn't really rate him then. I still dont. Yes there have been games where he's put in a Man of the match performance, but they are few and far between. Yes there are games he scores goals, even match winners, but they are few and far between. There are matches he links well with others and creates goals, but again they are few and far between. How he/the courier can compare him to Niculae is, in my opinion, laughable. Niculae has had the rare display of laziness as every other player (past and present) has done whilst at ICT. Niculae gets blasted for this, yet RD deserves more praise and is branded an 'unsung hero'? I would rather see Richie Hart in the starting line up. His control is better, his distribution superior, and although he doesnt score many (if at all) he creates far more opertunities and opens up the oposition on more regular intervals. No-one is irreplaceable!!! Iain Stewart left and we got Wyness. Brown left and we now have Fraser. Bobby Mann left and we got Darren Dods. Dods then left and we now have McGuire. Dargo left and we got Niculae. the list is endless.... and you can do similar examples for every club in the world. (Cantona & Cole, Romario & Ronaldo, McAllister & Miller.....) My point is, if Duncan wants more than he is worth then he should seek a new contract elsewhere. ICT have always, to my knowledge, offered the best than can for any player (even Niculae took a wage cut to play for us).
