  1. Nope, it was me who was wrong. Only caught the tail end of the announcement on the radio and wrongly assumed.I'll hang my head in shame
  2. According to the radio they want a decision by tomorrow so we don't have long to wait to find out what's happening,.
  3. warning for the worst joke ever,Why don't the French ever eat two eggs? Coz one egg is un oeuf.(enough) I did warn you.
  4. Kev, think you have misunderstood the comments, Ferben said he'd "give you one" CaleyD has obviously got the same sense of humour as me. Imagine Kenneth Williams saying in a carry on film "I'll give you one" and you'll probably understand what has been implied.
  5. I wonder what would happen if the game ends up a draw and has to be replayed at Ibrox?
  6. "Glad you're here coz we need pegs for this banner"
  7. It was Gary Warren according to MFR
  8. Sounds really good value but I'm afraid my pension only allows me to drive up and down whenever I can manage a home game. If I win the lottery though I would certainly take advantage of the offer.
  9. That's nothing, 362 mile round trip for me tonight but well worth it. I'm also having a drink to calm the second half nerves. I had a long journey too, to get back for the game, and no comfort of a car - buses all the way, Bladnoch / Wigtown / Newton Stewart / Girvan / Ayr / Glasgow / Inverness (left at 8.30am and arrived in Inversneckie at 4.30pm BUT it was worth it! Thank you ICT. Poor you, Due to family problems I don't get to as many home games as I would like to but there was no way I was going to miss last nights game. If only you had posted on here I would have been only to happy to have given you a lift up, I'm quite well mannered and don't smell to bad for a central belter.

  11. Found another and at 1.33 it says it all. The Staggies might not realise they're getting the **** ripped out of them though so it might not be worth playing http://youtu.be/rQW7JcYkcsQ
  12. Course I do I'm not that young, wish I was though.
  13. http://youtu.be/y6nNRJkh_UQ The peg sellers should get this one
  14. Most of you are probably to young to remember this prog but it's very appropriate and the music might even scare most of their fans off
  15. Thanks. As I said that always cheers me up.
  16. Throwing them is a total no no, that's stupid and somebody could get hurt but certain managers are allowed to kick water bottles on to the park when thing aren't going their way, wish I was good on the computer then I could put the link here and have another wee chuckle. It always cheers me up when I see that clip
  17. I genuinely feel sorry for the owners of the Mailcoach as it's not their fault and they are only doing what they can to generate business to keep the business afloat. The owners of the landfill apparently use the latest methods to suppress the smell but it still stinks. I drove past it last week on the M74 and it was rank. I'm not trying to drive away business from the mailcoach but would hate for you all to come down and have a horrible experience and then have about an hours walk to get to the stadium.
  18. I was born in Uddingston and lived there most of my life, my parents still live in that area so I know it very well. I've never been in the mailcoach but have been informed that it is a reasonably nice place which serves nice food. If you enter the postcode and look at the satellite image on google map you will see that right next to the mailcoach is a sand quarry, between that and the mailcoach is a landfill sight which stinks. If the wind is blowing the right way it's fine as the stench gets blown away from you but if it doesn't its disgusting. That's why I've never been in it. To make matters worse there is also a sewage works nearby, which to be honest only stinks occasionally, there is a crematorium to but thats ok. Prior to the landfill It used to be quite posh and exclusive and I got the impression that football supporters would not be welcome at any time. It's no short walk either, It's at least three and a half miles away from the selik park. The bus service would get you there ok but I would suggest that somewhere nearer would be a better bet for you.
  19. Indeed, my point is that surely we can ask for some common sense to be applyed to the situation (which is what we ask of refs all the time) as the vehicles I'm talking about are causing no danger to or disruption to traffic flow or pedestrians. So could some common sense be used and say fair enough these guys are harming anyone, it's for one afternoon every 2 weeks whats the downside? If people are parking on pavements or on the road causing a blockage fair enough ticket them, I've got no issue with that. Seems the police have no problem with church goers parking every which way on a Sunday around the Haugh Rd, Riverside area, could the same leniency not be shown to footie fans? Not having a go at you Don, nor the club as it's obviously nowt to do with them. I might contact the Polis for some Neil Lennon style 'clarification'! Dispite the fact that I'll probably not be driving to many games. Now I'm without the missus for the games as I plan to get drinks in at 'The Club' then get the supporters taxi with some of the other guys down to the stadium! The main problem is that is against the law. Very clever. Let me rephrase for you if it helps, what actual problem is the parking on the verge causing? Perhaps if you consider other people a bit more you might understand, I'm not having a dig at you personally, but I take my dad out in his wheelchair and selfish inconsiderate people cause me to bump an 83yr old extremely sick man down a high pavement onto a road to get past and then risk being hit by cars driving too close to us. I then have to try and bump him back up. It's not pleasant and can be a bit scary ( I've nearly tipped him out twice). When my kids were young we had to take them in a double buggy, that was worse. If everybody was a bit more considerate and abided by the law then the world would be a bit nicer place to live in. Pavements are for people not cars or bikes, People double park in my street all the time and if you're in a car you can squeeze by but risk scratching/loosing your mirrors. We have been lucky so far in that nobody has had a house fire as there is no way a fire engine could get through when the streets full, in fact I think an ambulance may also struggle. As I said I'm not having a pop at you but please think about it. Your actions have a knock on effect on other people and think how you would feel if a kid got killed crossing the road coz a driver couldn't see them for your illegally parked/abandoned car. You are having a bit of a dig at me, at least be honest lol. However I think you are misunderstanding me, where have I said it's OK for cars to park on a pavement / pedestrian area or should have carte blanche to park wherever? As you can see from what I've said above I don't condone that nor parking on double yellows on the road itself which would disrupt the flow of traffic. I have a wee one and we're often out in the buggy so I totally agree. The area I'm taking about very specifically is a rough grassy verge with brachen/bushes in places on the opposite side of the road from the stadium. Someone would have to be very daft indeed to walk accross the street from the stadium and where there is a nice wide pavement to walk down that, more so if they had someone in a wheelchair or a buggy etc. Hope this clears that up It's driving me mental. Perhaps I was having a bit of a dig at you. I'm a considerate person and hate when other people, through choice or copying other people, do something that causes major annoyance, let me give you an example, On Mon I had to take my dad to the hosp and parked legally in the disabled spaces. When we came out somebody had parked their car in front of my car and the car next to mine and blocked us in. I couldn't go forwards, sideways or backwards and it took 20 mins to get the *** to come out and move their car. His attitude was something to behold, how ferkin dare I inconvenience him etc. He doesn't know how lucky he is that there are cctv cameras and a security man who did nothing to help but stood nearby watching. I was ready to punch lumps out of him, not the security man. You may think I'm overreacting but there were loads of spaces nearby, the lazy git couldn't be arsed walking so abandoned his car in front of mine so he could be close to the entrance. No wonder he was well overweight. His parents must be so proud of him. That's prob the reason why I maybe overreacted a touch to you posts but the way you had written them made me respond. I don't usually get involved or contribute much, as you can tell by my post count. You're quite right to say your piece that's what a forum is for and I don't disagree with what you say. But you seemed to think I was saying something that I clearly wasn't. Thanks Fraz, I didn't mean that you said something that it clearly wasn't, i was implying that the way it was written it could be construed as if it was. As I said it wasn't personal or just against you. That's why I prefer spoken words to written words as somebody could write something meaning it to be taken a certain way but it doesn't always read that way, when it's spoken you know exactly what it means. I think I should buy you a pint sometime coz I think I offended you. I was just venting. You're right on my fecking wavelength there bigjohn. I hate the way some people think that rules are for others to obey and don't apply to them. Witness the boy racers parking their gaudy pieces of sh1t in a disabled/parent & child space as close to the supermarket as possible. Grrr... You should get involved more as you seem to speak a lot of sense! Thanks Caley I've just evolved into a Victor Meldrew type and seem to notice more bad things than good nowadays. I used to get involved before I retired but I don't now. I could fill pages with examples of how society has changed people over the last decade or so. Don't get me started or I'll moan all night,

  22. I reckon that Croatia top with either: 1) blue main colour with red and black squares with a white collar or 2) black main colour with blue and red squares with a white collar both of them would be very smart IMO That's the one Alex thank you. My first choice when I saw it was our blue on the main body with red and black squares on the shoulder and a red or black collar. Might be quite smart I think.
