  1. It would be a big worry if this issue of not receiving payment from Rangers would cause us such serious cash flow problems. Its on sky anyway isnt it so thats extra unbudgeted income.
  2. Its still highly possible Celtic will now take their foot off the gas - slip up ,start losing a couple of points here & there, then bang rangers reserves back in with a shout of the title - deciders last game of the season - Caley v Celtic.......Rangers v Dundee Utd that would be some D day!
  3. Just had a thought - ALL SPL teams go into administration & are demoted to the the SFL & are told by the SFL to ensure that standing areas are made behind the goals !
  4. yeah, kick them out & quick now that they are in administration, for them to just come back out of it as if nothing has happened is going to cause just as any problems.
  5. The Volcanic blast from Ibrox yesterday has now just been followed by an earthquake ! Looks like there will be no survivors - The tax men muscling in with their hard hats & sniffer dogs i guess.
  6. This is going to be an excellent story to follow now for the rest of the season. SPL Armegeddon or the rebirth of Scottish Football !
  7. Should our players try taking a dive to get a penalty ? I think we are owed some fortune in this dept together with the red cards against ! Will we need a penalty to stay clear of relegation- will our opposition go down to ten men in a crucial decider- Will we need a penalty to get us into the top 6 ? Which player is the likeliest to take a dive - who is our penalty taker ?
  8. Thank god thats out of the way - can we now get a move on up the table !
  9. Rangers going into administration or liquidation could be the best thing to happen to Scottish football. Same as Livingston or Airdrie send them packing to the 3rd div.! What a boost to the finances of every scottish league club as they work there way back up through the leagues !
  10. Our last home game v the saints we should have won by a few more than the 2-1 score. Theres going to be another changed team probably than the one that beat Hearts I`d take a.drab show but grind out a victory tomorrow or an entertaining good quality performance but if it ends up just a draw ok but a good show & win preferred oh & and a penalty would be a bonus eh! as long as not a defeat. Not asking for much.

If he does well up here maybe an english scout or two will notice him probably David Pleat
  12. Ten4 replied to Ten4's topic in Caley Thistle
I`m sure he will try the occasional parting shot
  13. Wonder if they`ll wear the hoops or the beehive or the shiny grey number they had v Peterhead ?
  14. Pity they couldnt wait until a few home games had passed - so they could gage the potential of saturday morning ticket sales from there. A wee reserve pile of tickets a couple dozen wouldnt do any harm - not as if we sell out each time
  15. This was for todays game v Hearts( sorry) not celts but was still surprised after this weeks announcement

Or fit in to any `perm`utation
  17. Total team effort & we were 1st to every ball. Also praise for Esson for 2 good saves in injury time kept concentration in these conditions.
  18. couldnt get tickets from eden court this morning? They said stopped selling them at midday friday ??

He should be able to brush the opposition away

( Reckon Steve Williams coming in and already well known as a barber, we surely can `head` up to the 100 hits with this ?) Just as well ` hairy` tel got on the `blower` to steve now that our injuries are `growing` again
  21. Even if that were to mean having insufficient funds to maintain SPL football? Yes. If that was what mattered I'd be supporting Celtic and Manchester City. Did you support ICT any less in SFL1 (or lower)? Are Dundee or Ayr fans any less passionate about their club? Create history on the funds available. I'd take a cup win against 10 seasons in the SFL1. What is St Mirren's greatest achievement? Finishing third? I grew up around Paisley and can't remember the year. Maintaining top league football? I don't know the years that started and ended or how long that run was for. Winning the cup? Without looking, 1987. Ian Ferguson latching on a through ball (from Abercromby IIRC) to beat Dundee Utd 1-0. I could even give you the team for that day. 'Nuff said. jings...(Chic Youngs twin brother !)
  22. Jonny it WAS you who ate all the smarties on the way down.........I had the love hearts !!
  23. If we are safe in the league I would love a day at Hampden of course but would finishing top six not be better financially in the long run than say a final appearance?
  24. TB told sky he asked Foran to wind up Hayes to get him going - I suppose yes I do agree with this kinda motivation - maybe Jonny was showing off because Neil Lennon was in the stand ! Lennon probably thinkin ``thats my kinda guy`` !!

Neil MacDonald was on Caley Thistle's books for a while in the early years wasn't he? I must be thinking of before ICT days of Donald `Rasper` Macdonald from Lewis for Caley- his nickname I`m guessing was because he had a really good hard shot ! or had some impediment at school with his tongue !!
