I said some time back that Scotland should not select lower league players, they are not and cannot be sharp enough to fit in at international level. Graeme Shinnie is a better option now, even though he could use just a little more experience, certainly a place in a couple of friendlies would bring him up to the required strength. The way he is performing now, surely, cannot be ignored for much longer. Had he been the product of O F he would already be sitting on the Scotland bench. I noticed somewhere that TB had already put him forward along with Nick Ross for consideration. Nick however imo still needs a bit of nursing but Graeme definitely.

Reality check today by sounds of the commentary. We will know later when those who were at the match post their comments but it sounded as if we were well and truly sussed out with our attacking moves i.e. playing to Richie Foran's strengths with the angled ball in, It also sounded that we were too predictable in midfield and the Dons capitalised on this. If so and I wont know till later when the posts come in then our attack has got to have more variation in it. Only when they got the goal and we had that slap on the face did it sound as if we were putting in the required effort. Hopefully I am wrong about this but if I have got it right then there is no more room for complacency in future, it must be back to the ICT that shocked the pundits and back to the winning ways In no way am I being negative here I am only making comment on what I listened to. A really positive aspect was our Briil keeper, today he proved to all the doubters that he is a shot stopper, a complete all rounder in fact and that is rare in a keeper. Still top of the league and still the chance to beat Celtic at our ground so come on ICT do your stuff.

I fear you oversimplify. FWIW I see Salmond as assertive, if occasionally a bit smug. Not in the least inclined to bluster- affable even when faced with the winduppery of the likes of Paxman. Unfortunately CB seems to have a dose of the passive/aggressives and the hatred of Salmond the man is there in every sneering reference. Play the ball not the man is what I say ;-) Very difficult to -play the ball when the man only shows you part of it

Alex that would be great. BA he has stopped and held on to enough shots already to show that he is capable in that department as well as what else you mention. He is also not frightened to go down in front of flailing boots and knees so the man has courage too, all good attributes of a fine keeper who will command the respect of those in front of him. I sincerely hope he stays with us..........Luton's loss will be our gain!

These breaks never seem to do anything good for us but a win is a win plus three more points on the board. I am very impressed with Brill, unfortunate deflection beat him, I like the way he commands the box and the defence as a whole.He is a better form of Reguerro imo. IHE you said in an early post that he appeared cumbersome going down., I agree but it is only to ensure he gets his body behind the ball, I have no worries there He is quick to get down and the ball stays with him and that is what matters. Glad the break is over and well done ICT.
