  7. Surely like beauty is in the eye of the beholder, interpretation is in the eyes and ears of the critic. To me there still is too much distrust and disloyalty to Yogi shown by many on here, He is doing a great job for us and is confident of progressing this Club, Perhaps some of the reported mistrust and disloyalty stems from how he is viewed by many of the ''Supporters'' of the Club. These same ''Supporters'' only to hail laud and praise him when things are going well but too quick to find fault given any opportunity that arises. He is human after all and humans have always had their faults Okay perhaps broadcasting his feelings to the press is not the best thing to do but frustration can lead to a variety of mishaps. I'm sure he would have vented all his feelings even more strongly in his contract negotiations. All that really matters as far as we are concerned is that he does his job and takes the Club forward like he says he can, Let's show some trust eh?-------------what ever happened to togetherNess -------------bring it back what happened to the togetherNess

  12. caleyboy is right in as much as attracting players, we can scarcely attract a decent crowd let alone high quality players. To buy cheap is often buying dear and I am not decrying the players he has brought in! His philosophy appears to be to be to buy people who are affordable if he believes they have the potential to fit in to the squad and his style of play. He is a coach to these guys, a mentor who goes out of his way to get the best out of them. It often is a long and somewhat painful process at times but look how he has already improved those he has brought in. Look how he had to remould the Butcher squad to get the best out of them he succeeded and I am sure he will again..just give him time. I am delighted he is staying with us and now that the injury list is shortening and that contract renewals are in the forefront all we need as i bit more good fortune on the field of play and we will start climbing that league table and clawing our way to retaining our trophy.

  20. T'was intended as a multipost incorporating that of bdu196's but another senior moment has struck!!!!! Dani, according to Greg Tansey he is very much part of the dressing room and all are behind him accepting that the latin temperament differs from ours and it was , by the sounds of it, a Jerk reaction. This leads me to think that Dani is seen as a useful addition to the squad by his Peers which in turn leads me to believe that he has not as yet grasped the whole Hughes system but is slowly (unfortunately) getting there. When up to speed we may well see him in a different light. He is agile, aware, and has the ability to put the ball in the back of the net as well as assist. Don't write him off just yet!
  21. Chris77 Some merit there and a lot of hard work.............but I cannot understand why when Scotty was asking for help in compiling and producing an improved version of CTO that you did not offer your services and ideas at that point in time. I am not a staunch believer in the adage of 'If it is not broke don't fix it' as inventiveness is the true way ahead. Collaboration is paramount to success, time and place should also be considered as well as respect for what has already experienced a high degree of success.
  22. Scottish league and trophy football should be played in Scotland, Clubs wishing to play friendlies are more than welcome to travel to Jupiter or anywhere else they care to go I think the idea is farcical, I can see no benefit for any Clubs other than the Old Firm. It is a selfish idea stemming from Clubs that were constantly complaining about the long journey to and from the Highlands. No consideration at all for the loyal away supporters who fork out hard earned dosh week after week to back their Team, Financially not viable for most Teams and unfair all round except for the 'chosen' Two who would once again reap any benefits that there might be. Competitive football should stay where it belongs in the grounds of the Teams in the Scottish leagues.
  23. Thank you Gavroche.
