Ex-ICT players' news
I should have banned you from answering Sneckboy. To be honest, I forgot about Glentoran. But there is one other.

Ex-ICT players' news
Apart from the Aberdeen trio, plus Armstrong at Celtic, and Rankin at Dundee Utd (if they scramble 4th place), there is one other ex ICT player who will be playing in Europe in 2015/16. Any ideas? I'll give the answer later. Btw, this will be too easy for some of you!

Yes, a very satisfying last match at home. Sounds as though we were well on top in the second half. Well done to all concerned. Hope there were no injuries, and maybe more to the point I hope we manage to get through next week's match injury free too. That will be more difficult as I am sure Celtic will be well up for revenge, and probably not too worried how they exact it.

William collum ref for cup final
I know he is not a popular choice for us, and perhaps not even for Falkirk, judging by some of the earlier stats on this thread. Let us all hope that he does not spoil a momentous occasion for both clubs, and that he realises that he is NOT the centrepiece of the day, and that he tries to let the game flow without his usual flurry of yellow cards.

What, hanging about in the bar again, is he?

Madrid Open - Tennis
Well done to Andy Murray who has just beaten (thrashed even) Rafael Nadal on clay for the first time. That's two clay court titles in two weeks. I fancy another major is on the cards for Andy this year.

The 2015 William Hill Scottish Cup Final
Ticket arrived safely on Friday. How fantastic that we can now look forward to this final knowing that we have already qualified for Europe with two matches to spare. Had we missed out on 3rd place, the added pressure on the team on final day would have been tremendous. Now the team, management and all us supporters can really enjoy the day out and anticipate a good victory and even more glory. Bring it on.

I'm sure there will be changes in each of the next two games. I can't see Meekings playing against Celtic for example. But it is tricky for Hughes as he won't want to spoil the team's rhythm and general style of play.

Just brilliant. Gives Hughes many options to give key players a 'rest' ahead of the final. An incredible performance this season already. Well done to all concerned.

Great start. I hope we are getting Ofere signed up for next season. He may look awkward and slow at times, but he certainly knows where the goal is. His goals per game so far for us is amazing, far better than Billy, or anyone else we've had I would guess. Long may it continue.

Just come in having been out for the evening and not able even to sneak a look at my phone. I'll enjoy my nightcap even better now. What a great result. Well done to all concerned. 3rd place is within our grasp. Let's make sure of it by winning at least 2 of our remaining games and not depending on favours from others. A truly remarkable effort by our wee club Onwards and upwards.

Snooker Final
One of the best ever finals. Bingham has been a revelation. I gave him no chance against O'Sullivan, little or no chance against Trump, and the same again against Murphy. But he is still there and looking, and playing, like a winner. Good for him.

How brilliant is that? Well done John. You've proved your doubters to be wrong. Now, the icing on the cake will be clinching 3rd spot in the league, and, of course, winning the Scottish Cup. You can do it.

We don't make it easy for ourselves, do we? Still, we have a great chance of 3rd place. Either we beat the Arabs twice at home, or even take 4 points off them plus beat Dundee, and I don't think we could then be caught. So it is in our hands. I remain confident we can do it. I'm sure we all want to secure 3rd place before the SC Final so that we can go into that match without the added pressure of having to win for a European place Onwards and upwards lads.

How often have you seen ICT?
That is really impressive as it must be over a 600 mile round trip for you for Central Belt games, and closer to 1000 for Inverness based games I haven't kept a record of my ICT matches. Mostly these days it is away matches in the Central belt, on average about half a dozen a season. When I did still have family in Inverness to visit, I went to many more home games, but over the 20 years or so of ICT's existence I suspect my total number of games is just a little over 100 (including all the Englandshire friendlies).

Yes, the highlights certainly indicate that we created enough chances to win. But we really do need to sort out our defending from set pieces. That's the last 4 goals we've conceded from free kicks just outside the box, or corners.
