  1. I'm sure there will be changes in each of the next two games. I can't see Meekings playing against Celtic for example. But it is tricky for Hughes as he won't want to spoil the team's rhythm and general style of play.
  2. Just brilliant. Gives Hughes many options to give key players a 'rest' ahead of the final. An incredible performance this season already. Well done to all concerned.
  3. St J equalise. Another bit of insurance for us!
  4. Great start. I hope we are getting Ofere signed up for next season. He may look awkward and slow at times, but he certainly knows where the goal is. His goals per game so far for us is amazing, far better than Billy, or anyone else we've had I would guess. Long may it continue.
  5. H/T 0-0 F/T 0-2 ICT Tansey Dee n/a Time 62
  6. Happy memories. No better place to play cricket. In the summer with the links ringed by tourists, the atmosphere was terrific. Even better than the Northern Meeting Park in Sneck, which itself was quite good, with the stand sometimes nearly full.
  7. Just come in having been out for the evening and not able even to sneak a look at my phone. I'll enjoy my nightcap even better now. What a great result. Well done to all concerned. 3rd place is within our grasp. Let's make sure of it by winning at least 2 of our remaining games and not depending on favours from others. A truly remarkable effort by our wee club Onwards and upwards.
  8. 4th May 2015 Airtricity Irish league Adam Evans ( Bohemians 1 - Cork 1) I also notice he scored 3 times earlier this season which I missed!
  9. One of the best ever finals. Bingham has been a revelation. I gave him no chance against O'Sullivan, little or no chance against Trump, and the same again against Murphy. But he is still there and looking, and playing, like a winner. Good for him.
  10. How brilliant is that? Well done John. You've proved your doubters to be wrong. Now, the icing on the cake will be clinching 3rd spot in the league, and, of course, winning the Scottish Cup. You can do it.
  11. Sat 2 May SL3 G Wood (Annan 4 - Montrose 3)
  12. We don't make it easy for ourselves, do we? Still, we have a great chance of 3rd place. Either we beat the Arabs twice at home, or even take 4 points off them plus beat Dundee, and I don't think we could then be caught. So it is in our hands. I remain confident we can do it. I'm sure we all want to secure 3rd place before the SC Final so that we can go into that match without the added pressure of having to win for a European place Onwards and upwards lads.
  13. ffs what is going on? Come on lads, hold out at least for a draw.
  14. Not good. For once I want Dons to win.
  15. That is really impressive as it must be over a 600 mile round trip for you for Central Belt games, and closer to 1000 for Inverness based games I haven't kept a record of my ICT matches. Mostly these days it is away matches in the Central belt, on average about half a dozen a season. When I did still have family in Inverness to visit, I went to many more home games, but over the 20 years or so of ICT's existence I suspect my total number of games is just a little over 100 (including all the Englandshire friendlies).

  17. Who is the milkman? Don't think it is Jock Clunas, a well known milkman from my youth, who, had there been breathalisers in those days, would have been found to be drunk in charge of a horse on many an occasion. Anyone remember him?
  18. I think these prices, for a national cup final, are entirely reasonable.
  19. Yes, the highlights certainly indicate that we created enough chances to win. But we really do need to sort out our defending from set pieces. That's the last 4 goals we've conceded from free kicks just outside the box, or corners.
  20. I'd keep him Despite all the reservations pointed out by many re fitness, clumsiness, lack of ball control, I like him and his goal a game scoring record speaks for itself. I don't think we've seen the best of him yet, so if he's with us for another season, I feel sure he will prove to be a good signing.
  21. Also scored today (25 Apr) Conference North A Chippendale (Stalybridge 4 - Gainsborough 4) SL3 J Duff (Elgin 4 - Annan 5) Highland league D Park (Fort william 1 - Cove Rangers 4)
  22. Reading FC gave every fan who purchased a ticket for their semi at Wembley last Saturday a tee shirt, alternately either blue or white. Nice gesture and looked pretty impressive as well.
  23. H/T 1-0 F/T 3-0 ICT Tansey Dons Rooney Time 17
  24. Justice, and common sense prevails. Well done to the club for fighting this so strenuously. Delighted for Josh.
